Hey sweetie I have a question, is this job stable? Or are you paid only for the work at a time with people ? I heard that they’ll terminate you if you’re not having consistent clients. I heard that it’s not stable and it sounds more like a side hustle that’s not really consistent.. Is this true? I’m debating if I want to do it.
pov: you have an interview today
Nice
Gurl frss afternoons especially at the mall are the most chill well late afternoons and nighttime mainly.
Ugh gurl like when I started it was just modules, but they never finished it with me rip! 😭 Ugh they dead put me on register for the first week? ☠️
I'm starting training tomorrow and this video was very helpful! Thank you!
how is it going? I‘m starting todayyy
I was rejected from like 2 different Starbuckses so it’s safe to say I feel like a huge loser
this was such a helpful video , ty ♡ my first day is soon and i have more confidence because of you :)
me too! first day is in 2 weeks
@@user-lq8ep5zm7p good luck !
Thank you for this video!
Hey i need a work asap permanent please 😢😢😢😢
im currently trying to get hired at a certain Starbucks and followed up. I was lucky enough to speak with the store manager and she said she was gonna call back to schedule an interview with but its been 2 days and i still haven’t heard anything byt she did warn me it woukd be hard to schedule one rn due to the holidays amd shes going on vacation but hopefully she calls soon because i really wanna work there!😩🙏🏽
Update: I have an interview tomorrow morning! I’m super excited and nervous at the same time but I’m confident that I’ll get the job! We shall see😬🤞🏼
@@AngelLucia01ahh, hope it went well! I got an interview tomorrow and I’m so nervous
@@yani2426 it did, I got the job!! The store manager asked me very similar questions to these so it was easier to answer so I think as long as you watch this video, you’ll ace it! Good luck 🤍✨
@@AngelLucia01 thank you!! Sadly the hiring manager had a meeting during the scheduled time and I couldn’t do the interview :c he didn’t tell me about it either
@@AngelLucia01Hi after applying online how long did it take them to email you back, I applied 2 weeks ago and still haven’t heard anything. Any tips?
This helped me a lot. I'm studying SW as well! in a community college and it's a pre-sw major!
Hi! I am currently on my 3rd week training at starbucks in the philippines. I struggle a lot, I don't feel like I belong with my partners in the store i am in. They are trying to train and teach me but they really pressure me to memorize and be fast already in my 2nd week. I feel like I dont have a support. I feel like quitting already.
I'm currently 2 weeks in training at a Starbucks kiosk in my grocery store, and am honestly overwhelmed and stressed. Not only do I need to get the (basic) drinks down a pat AND work faster like you'd mentioned employees will request of you, but on top of that I have to be able to prep/maintain/setup/do CAP for the kiosk... And one day very soon on my own. And I feel like they just keep throwing one new thing to remember after another when I still haven't even gotten the basics down confidently, let alone the register. And what's more this particular kiosk is constantly having some sort of malfunction due to the equipment not being taken care of. I honestly feel like it would take me about 6+ months to get anywhere near my coworkers' level of confidence (which tbh they're all really sweet and considerably patient with me during my training), but it makes me feel mentally drained at the thought that all of this needs to be done in a month by myself.
It's not eXXXpresso! Please say it correctly. Espresso. It's your job to know how to speak correctly about the things that you are selling. Also just learn how to speak correctly.
Doing way too much, be nicer.
Why on earth are you making such a big deal about something so incredibly minor? It literally doesn't matter if she pronounces espresso as expresso, it doesn't change anything. Even if you wanted to correct her, you can do so without being condescending and insulting.
Great job! Thank you for your tips.
I have an interview at Starbucks in an hour and I'm getting so nervous! Thanks for the tips!
Hi girl im glad i found u bcz im having thoughts to work at sb so yeah your video is somewhat soothing to md so yeah thank u i guess🥰😂😅
I’m starting tomorrow, my first actual work day, I’ll update this comment later if I remember
update?
i start training next week! 🥲🙏🏼
POV: your too young to get a job but watching anyway.
I got an offer at the interview but they said that HR would call me to discuss my pay etc and I haven’t got a call yet, they said if I don’t hear back by Monday to call the store manager. I was hoping to start as soon as possible but oh well either way I’m just happy to start working again bc the struggle has been REAL.
I just applied yesterday cause I know they're hiring right now. How long should I wait before I call to follow up on my application? This would be my first job I don't want to mess anything up.
Hey! I’ve been working at Dunkin’ for almost a year, and I’ve finally had enough of management, and I applied to the Starbucks up the street after being asked by one of the employees!
I got hired and I don’t really like it
super helpful, love this!!
Tomorrow is my second day of training. Your video is very very helpful!!! Thank you so much, Daj!
if u don't mind can i know, that r gonna get paid for our training times also?!
@@umerabegum4764 you do get paid
I am well into my training now but I can't seem to remember how to make drinks other than refreshers and Frappuccino's. It didn't bother me much before but on my last shift I felt myself getting frustrated at myself. My partners are awesome and I can ask them anything without them making me feel like an idiot, but it gets overwhelming when it's a rush. I'm put on the cold bar since I'm more comfortable with those drinks.
So they have different bars they put you on ?
im kinda scared like i hope ill get chosen for a interview so much
Interview tomorrow
POV: you’re harried and have your 1st sip in a few hours😭
im starting at the end of the month and i just wanted to say thank you for this video because it’s helping calm the many anxieties i have about starting because i wanted to know what will happen because i’m not a fan of surprises and also a perfectionist 😭
thank you so much i have an interview in 3 hours and i’m feeling nervous but this was so helpful!!
Today was my very first interview in starbucks... interview was good.. I Don't have work authorization card that's why they said they are hiring me but now they can't give me the official permission for the work. When my authorization card is come let them know. What does it mean?? Is that mean are they hiring me or they reject me???
Lol. Ironically with the horn part, I myself just got out of an interview with a new company involving that line of work. This is definitely a thorough and straight to the point type of job preview video, and thank you to all you Starbucks out there who give all of us out there some of the best cup of brew money can buy, even in times of now literal peril.
I just finished filling out my background check information and im so nervous !! I will be working at a Target starbucks and it all seems so overwhelming.
hey how is/was it? considering applying.
@@finnaget_busy the background check? lmaoo idk I lied and got in
My interview is tomorrow and I’m so excited
i had my interview yesterday and haven’t heard anything back yet just not trying to stress
Did you get it?
@@Icedlemoncake unfortunately no :(
Working at Starbucks is not fun it's hard a lot to know and remember
You’re amazing and you will nail the job! Don’t be nervous!
i was never trained just started at the oven 🥺worse experience ever
They only thing that’s really difficult for me is learning the register
thank you for this im going to work at starbucks when im done with highschool im not going to college im doig some program they gonna train me thank u
You get at least 5 free drinks when you are scheduled to work. When we are not scheduled we get 30% off retail and food and beverages as well. Well at least at my store!
First of all you have such a calming voice which made watching this so much less stressful. I’m starting my new job in two weeks and I’m nervous but your video definitely put me at ease!! Thank you. Subscribed!
I START TOMORROW
Binge watching these vids bc I start training soon 😩.
I’m a Starbucks trainer. Don’t be nervous or think your fellow partners are expecting you to remember all the information from training! We all know it takes time to memorize all the recipes and methods to Starbucks baristas madness! Good luck to all of you in your training.
I'm just a newly hired, have little bit scared how I gonna do all
@@vishavbawa4141 When I first started I felt like I would never amount to the other experienced baristas. But in a none conceded way I know I’m now a dependable person In all positions. I promise you will have that moment in a few months and look back and realize there was nothing to be so worried about. At It’s core Starbucks Is truly a trade job. It takes time to learn the in's and out’s. I know it can be hard to start something and struggle with the fact you “don’t know what you’re doing”. Some things just take time which is a really cool thing actually. If you think about It, If you came in knowing exactly how to do everything right off the bat it would be so boring. You will have much more pride within yourself knowing you started from no experience and became the Barista you will become. Just enjoy the experience everyone at your job has gone through the exact same thing. You got this, do not doubt yourself. I believe in you!
144 liker and 622 on the clock Thank you Creator For this
Is it okay to bring a little notepad to write stuff down to study and memorize?
@@Ally-fh7oj yes u can, and its allowed, I'm also new at star bucks, todsy is my 2nd day
I have my interview tomorrow !! Super nervous but excited, thank you for the vid !
