The way I use decidueye is by hiding in a bush close to an enemy, then I charge up spirit shackle and kill the enemy. It's a very useful move

My favourite part of these games was Megaman's various super modes. Like, I remember at least game that gave him multiple super modes based on the classic elements or something?

When I first started unite, I used Decidueye I still use him. I always knew he was good, I could do a 1 V 3 and come out okay in the enemys base.

What are the best held items for decidueye

GBA was unequiocably the golden era of portable gaming. Battle Network series (until 4), Metroidvanias (especially Aria of Sorrow), Advance Wars, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (the game that introduced VIera!) We will never get another era of value-packed, endlessly replayable titles of its like.

If I've been battling random viruses for a few minutes between bosses, then I just offload extra battle chips that I don't need at the traders. I keep getting a crap load of reflectors before any other chips, and they yield some decent results.

Chip duping on the collection is a thing too. Back up your save, trade the chip to a friend, re load the backed up file, and trade it back.

One more pro tip. Don't buy on playstation. I'd appreciate you guys joining me, but the network is dead. Especially if you want to 100% you need other people.

Spoilers for Dragon Quest 4 ahead. The only Retcon Monsters does for the story of 4 is Rose not dying. In 4 Psaro is the main antagonist and what caused him to go off the deep end was the death of his wife Rose. Monsters the Dark Prince is pointing to a possible 4 remake with Psaro in the role of protagonist rather than antagonist with Rose being Alive

I kind of wondered if I could get an answer on how I should approach with seperate versions in the actual Legacy Collection itself aside from story aspect. Should I play both versions of one game before moving on to the next, or follow the storyline of the path I choose from 3/4-6 until having to do it again for the versions I would NOT play?

I just started playing this collection and the advice that seems to stick the most is the first game is not like the others. I find it confusing with the Busting Level and got myself lost and fighting in a higher level area for no reason. I'm not great with chips so I learned to button mash my buster. Haha. Buster Max is on for this first game but the others in the series seem to be improvements on the first one.

I remember when I was a kid I bought the Dark Sword chip without reading the description since the game was in English, not my native tongue, only for then as I got better I was able to somewhat tell what it meant. Then I got scared about having ruined my playthrough by giving a dark sword to Megaman and that eventually it would be acknowledged in the story so I stopped ^^`

I am returning to the series and playing Blue Moon again, my first entry to mmbn and onward. In my run for mmbn4, I promise myself to never use the dark chip again unless I'm playing mmbn5(its more beneficial). I probably won't use the chip trader this time either😅.

Back when i think bn3 was new. I got stuck on the story where i needed to trade a specific S type chip to progress. obviously i only had one so i didnt wanna toss it to some npc. I was stuck for about a month running around doing everything i could before giving up and handing it over. the story opened up and i hated myself for it but was happy to continue and not drop the game. Battle network to this day is my fave game series ever.

I have played it yeaaaars ago on an emulator and I was excited about it initially, then I got to the 'gameplay' and it bummed me out real quick. Realizing slotting in was a small bit of excitement, then seeing it was percentage bound and it can fail ruined it for me again. It felt like a waste of time because you're mostly just waiting it out during the actual battles. There's no need to be very invested because besides slotting in you can't do anything about what's happening anyway. It felt frustratingly limited. And then I realized I was going to be dependent on the chip lottery from the main game to get new chips and there was 0 exploration, even of the net.. Nah. I would rather play a game where I can actually play the game most of the time or at least interact with it more. I would have felt ripped off if I had actually bought it. Big disappointment at the time because I was really into the MMBN series since the first game.

If only the post game in most of the series wasn't such a tedious grind I could actually say they are perfect post games. Speaking as someone obsessed with the games and currently 5/6 games done at 100% on legacy collection. God I miss BN3 already
