I've only been up there once, it's pretty daunting trying to locate a good spot in the grass, there is so much of it. Is mid July considered the best time up there, the grass is obviously around for months before and after July.
@@hunterh1033 June and July seems to be best. Once August hits they disappear. Where they go we have no idea. But it’s literally like a light switch. One week you smash them, the next you barely get a bite. Then it’s done for the rest of the year. Crazy
I would think if they vanish from the upper bay.They must move to the rivers that feed the bay.Which rivers are best is anyones guess. There is no shortage of them thats for sure.
@@Fishboy68 they’re still there, I think they burrow into those weeds and getting to them is a problem. Then getting them to bite is a whole other problem. You need to put the bait right in their face.

@@kurtrindgen4708 very well could be. When we go we don’t see a ton of boats. There were 2 fishing the entire grass bed we were in.
