wes anderson is a visual genius
Great video. This is a film thar marked me a lot, and now, doing a College that I dreamed of (Audiovisual) I'm going to use your video as reference to do a homework for History of Art and Design with 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' as an object of study to do an analysis. Thanks 4 ur video. Kisses from Brazil/Portugal
I like how Zeros character development is shown through his mustache. He starts by drawing one on, in the last last scene in the train car he has a real mustache.
Such a brilliant movie. Should've won Best Picture over Birdman
The Hotel Budapest is a masterpiece coming from someone who has worked at a hotel I loved it.
video essay class lol paying 20k to make video essays haha its ok bro I went to art school too im just playing. 400k plays make more better mic diff font.
Hola negros
People who hate wes anderson's style clearly have not seen the monogatari series
A suggestion. You speak so rapidly that it can be hard to understand, at moments. I feel it would help those viewing your video, if you simply added the ability to read subtitles.
Probably one of the most unique movies I’ve seen. The cinematography, colors, camera movement and cast are incredible. Loved it!
I like how this was originally made as a focus video for a school assignment made by a teacher but it's such a good analysis that we are all watching it too.
while watching this movie, i felt like i was in an imaginary world. its definitely a movie well never see something similar to again.
You really have to be hitler to hate wes Anderson
To be honest the widescreen scope format made it feel more modern than 16:9. Cini scope is 2016-present for me not 1960-1980 Made the vibes a bit off for me because the 1970 era felt modern times for me
Everyone shoud watch this Xavier Dolan's film Mommy to just appreciate the use of Aspect ratios. Skating scene and the climax with Einaudi's Experience. Such a masterpiece
you sound like Zero
The first time seeing this movie was a religious experience for me.
When i see that movie more like book.
Why was M. Gustav killed? And why was zero and Agatha spared?
This helped in completing my assignment. Thankyouu 😭
Great video bud
Why does your voice kind of sound like Zero's
amazing video!
i really love this film. I could watch it over and over again and not get bored
such a brilliant film, but you did amazing with this video
great video🙌🙌🙌
Beautiful analysis. Thank you!
the best wes anderson movie for me. next to darjeeling limited.
When i first watched this movie I didn't notice the symmetrical frames but I did find the movie very artistic and beautiful, there was something more to admire about the movie that got nothing to do with story line.
This movie is a definition of "easy on the eyes" means
Whats the name of the music used?
Humans love symmetry... 🤷♂️
The Grand Budapest Hotel, the finest movie experience Ive had.

Doing good
Thanks Joe. That was excellent. Grand Budapest is my favorite of all time ☺️ Your explanation was succinct and explicit at once!
I'm 17, I have 2 years of high school left and after that I want to go into film school, this video helped me a lot because it gave me a new way of looking at Anderson's films. Great work!
Well done! Anderson is my favorite director. 👍
Subtitles Please 👏🏻👏🏻
This movie is perfect to me
very well done, sir.
Watching his films is like opening a jewelry box. Each time you open it it's the same gems as before, but just never seems to get old.
Watching his films, i get a theatre play type feel based on the shots and how he plays with Frame Compositions
I love this
his films are a work of art
Hope you got an A+
Very nicely done , sir , thank you so much for this <3
fantastic observation
I enjoyed this a lot and will be watching this movie tonight. Great job!
