I just finished the show, and honestly it wasn't as bad as I expected. While the colors might have been too much in the early episodes, I appreciate how experimental it was; for better or for worse, no other CN show looks quite like the Problem Solverz. I think the show would have been more well received had it been on [AS] like intended, rather than on CN. I miss how strange and wild early 2010s CN was. My favorite episodes are Video Gamez, Breakfast Wars, Hamburger Cavez, and Yogurt Nights. You should definitely consider making a video on Secret Mountain Fort Awesome; I feel people didn't give that show enough credit; it's hilarious as hell, and I'm tired of pretending it's not.

I agree with your point about how times change. All these years, i've kinda forced my mind to, or rather my mind forced me to refuse to accept that anything beyond the year 2000, the new millenium, its "new" "exciting", but in a lot of ways, i'm completely stuck in 1998. But you are right, it was 24 years ago, not only are times different, but we ourselves are different people! As a matter of fact ive changed so drastically, that when i look back at who i was in 2007 or 2011, i can scarcely even recognize myself. At some point that old person died. And i began. Its weird to think sbout, but i guess we all experience that change, and most likely its normal. I must say well done on the video! I've actually dont believe ive ever seen the Problem Solvers. Ive heard it referenced but i mustve not been watching tv at that time. But i must say it looks really cool! Ill have to check it out!

i think one big issue that could make the show a little more watchable is turning the saturation on the background down a little. visually it's very cool but if i can't watch the show without getting a headache i'm just not going to watch it. it's cool that it exists though, because weird experimental media paves the way for new stuff. even media that flops is important. otherwise you just get remakes and reboots and reimaginings of popular shit with no vision because corporate knows "well it was popular then so it has to be popular now"

12:46 Hey! Big electronic music enthusiast here. Honestly I don't know what genre this music would fall under. It seems like it's a throwback to the 90's and early 00's "tracker" scene, which is very early, pre DAW music sequencing software. I'd be tempted to call it chiptune or just tracker music, but its hard to say since the old heads of the scene hate to give that label to any music made with more modern tools. That's where the slightly pejorative "fakebit" genre comes from. Somewhere in that ballpark this music lives, I believe.

Just a heads up the last four episodes will be coming this September, but somehow those got leaked on the Internet.

Problem Solverz gave me brain damage

I feel like this show would be fondly remembered nowadays in a post Smiling Friends. The main problem honestly is the color palette which personally think is hard to look at.

I could not get through this video for the simple reason of problem solverz footage playing in the background. The show look terrible and give me a headache looking at it.

Problem Solverz was great because of how different it was, but it feels like cartoon youtubers from that time just couldn't swallow it, even when that bright in-your-face style became the de facto standard for CN and people began to reconsider their hatred for shows like Teen Titans Go and modern Spongebob. No such love for PS though :/

i dunno, i liked the show as a kid. still like it now. then again im severely autistic and weird shows with unique art styles tend to appeal to me

I been a big fan of Ben Jones since the PaperRad days (I am in my 40s.) The show really should have stayed on Adult Swim. I think it was a little too much of a confusing sensory overload for children. Also the children of the 2010s didn't get really get counter-culture aesthetics. This was an anti-marketable show, and that's hard to sell to kids who are primary consumers of popular media.
