Here is a tip , remove the four screws from the black plastic that surrounds the steering column . The cluster basically falls out after you get the top to pop loose.

Point of correction for those who want to do this on their own. Don't just take the valve body solenoid out without making it, it might be the same color but they have different values. Mean the number on each solenoid is different. If you please then wrong you might have issues with your transmission shifting.

In 1982, GM laid the wiring diagram in cells for each circuit, however they also chose to use the same color wires for each vehicle for the same circuit function. So BKL= GRD and Tan/Wht = B+ to trunk lock. This reduces labor cost for warranty to trace down a fault. This is true with connectors as a the same color is on both sides. (Note) The Tan/Wht wire can be used in other circuits like ignition coil #5 trigger wire. After all, there are more circuits than color combinations! Right? ASE Master 78, retired.

Came out easy. I cut a 15mm down. Had a little problem getting it to start. I put Teflon tape on the sensor nut so it would stay in the socket and put it in place with a magnet. I threaded the sensor in a few turns with one of those grippy bendable arms or pinch arms. Put my extention on and tighten her up. I used picks to undo the clip.

Thanks so much for showing me this. I was able to pull the alternator out. The Denali has a bigger alternator so you will have to loosen the AC pipe and the dip stick so you can move it. Lost a frw screws including the one for the dip stick, but everything else worked out.

I got cons P2725 on my 2013 c250 sport. Shows E electronic solenoid error can I just replace that one or do I have to replace all of them ? Also before replacing what should be the proper ohm value to check? If anyone es te to do it for me or help me out I live in the IE San Bernardino California area. Thx

if it does work, i'd be tempted go in do a shift kit on valve body or if cheap enough try it all in one go.

Thank you so much for this video, great job. It took me three days to get it out and it is back in again and I will finish it tomorrow hopefully. BTW, the special plastic parts holding the wire-harness to the engine block I bought on AMAZON. I think I paid $12 for 20 pieces. To get the two difficult to get to bolts holding the engine and transmission together, I took a couple of moving blankets and laid them over the engine. Laying on my belly on top of the engine I got to the two bolts as I kind of new where they were. Your video also showed me that I could actually do it as I saw you doing it.

I had my 3rd purge valve replaced months ago and today I found the one that goes under was glued with the nipple broken. What part has to be replaced that has the nipple? Really pisses me off that this should have been a recall. I took my car back to the mechanic to ask why he used JB Weld. I was dumb enough to leave my car with him and he denied using JB Weld then went ahead and fixed it without telling me anything and since he denied it charged me $397.00. Telling me maybe when you got your oil changed they did it. My husband changes my oil. Noone else has touched my car since that repair.

Does anyone know where to get a solenoid pressure control b for a 2010 Nissan Murano sl and does any one know where to get the diagram for the solenoid layout for this vehicle ?

The GM part for this sensor has a taller black plastic tip to it (where the plug goes into). It is too tall for that particular socket used in this video, So you would have to use a deeper socket which basically means you would have to remove that intake. Solution is to buy a generic part from O'reilly that has a shorter black plastic tip.

Don’t just replace the thermostat. Also replace the temperature sensor. The cost of the sensor is minimal if you find out later that the sensor was the problem all along. Sending a false reading to the ECM. Don’t ask me how I know!
