This is a video showcasing a sound design project I started a while back that ended up turning into a pretty useful tool. I've been working with Kilohearts Snap Heap for the past few months making unique multi-effects and as a joke I tried to remake XLN Audio's RC-20 plugin. It turns out you can make a pretty decent emulation of RC- 20 using nothing but the stock modules included with Snap Heap!
This is the update (Part 2) video where I go over the changes I made to MC-20 and I showcase the presets I designed for it. The complete preset pack of 76 presets will be available on Gumroad for $2 if you're interested in supporting me as a sound designer.
Even if you already own RC-20 this could be interesting to you because Snap Heap give you much more control and allows you to tweak the preset far beyond what RC-20 is capable of doing. Not to mention there are an infinite amount of thing you can do with Snap Heap as a modular effects environment.
