Huge fan of yourself, the podcast, and Lamar Jackson. But to say that calling Lamar a running back is racist is kind wild imo. He has turned into an elite passing quarterback but the guy completed less than 60% of his passes all throughout college and into his first year in the nfl. I agree with you about the Commodes+Giants being on the same track, or at least possibly could be. Should be. However, an overpaid QB is an overpaid QB, whatever his name is. The only starting QB I'm aware of who isn't overpaid right now is Geno Smith. The norm used to be 12% or thereabouts for the QB POSITION, so not just the starter, but also the backups. That used to be about $12.5 mill per year before the cap started inflating in 2013. Dak Prescott is by far the most overpaid of the overpaid QBs now, and is making about 25% of the cap, or more than twice what a starting QB should be making for optimal roster health. It should be almost exactly what Geno Smith is making across the board. What limits at least the visibility of the problems every NFL team now has with this is precisely that every NFL team except the Seahawks is making the same mistake at the same time. But it's still a mistake and is causing problems for all of them. And sure, the cap is still going up. But only by about $12-15 mill a year. According to the old standard I am still operating by, Dak is being paid as if the cap was $480 million a year. It is $240 mill a year, and won't reach $480 mill a year until about 2046, by which time I assume Dak Prescott will be long retired. It's just mindless cap management and will balance itself back out eventually. And expecially when mediocre QBs like Dak and DJ are being paid the same or more than actually good QBs like Lamar or Burrow. It's just not sustainable in any way.

Honestly, do the -24 draft over and I seriously doubt if Caleb Williams is even a first rounder. People keep telling me about generational this and that, but he just looks like a high school QB.

Honestly, this guy might be the best quarterback they’ve fielded this year. Considering he hasn’t taken a single snap or thrown a single ball to any of these receivers ever his numbers aren’t horrible. Equal to Tommy’s, who has been there for years.

For everyone commenting that this dude needs a contract extension or should be future starting, he’s been in league for 6 years. Never done anything. And was statistically one of the worst college QBs.

I want to see Boyle for the rest of the season. Boyle will be fun to watch. I love shots down the feild. Daniel Jones I feel like hard knocks fucked his mind up and started playing safe ball or tooooooo safe. He was scared to lose his job if he made any mistakes, knew a lot of his own teammates thought he was junk. He never got to get comfortable. I thought (given the circumstances) he played really well. I say release devito and keep Boyle and Lock and draft a qb round 1 to sit for a year (cam ward i hope). Take O-line 2 and 3rd. One more year od mediocrity after this and we should finally be able to compete.
