I checked with the RATMARO factory and Paint was an option that was not available. Ratmaro uses rust instead (and dirt). Sorry.

I bought a 454 out of a motorhome from a salvage yard. It even had an Edelbrock carb on it. Paid $1,000 and skipped about $1500 worth of Marketplace 350 lies. Plus, it is a true Rat. Sorry that some jerk treated you like that!

You get it home and instead of just hanging the rest of the parts that are missing.. off the engine and starting it up if it had turned over by hand. You tear the engine open after and hour and a half of mounting it on your half froze antique engine stand. The positive here? You work as hard as a lumberjack in February in Manitoba Canada!! On this 450 dollar market place rip off. But.. so do washing machines. 🤷🏻‍♂️. Just saying.. because. Thousands of backyard mechanics out here do exactly that same thing. In archaic shops everywhere. 😂. So you made a video of how long and how tedious it is. Just to here an engine you’re going to have to tear down and refurbish later, run for a few minutes. Bravo! As an engine builder this is scary. I’m too OCD, I’m tearing it all the way down getting all that paint out of the heads and blasting the block and repainting everything. Just me.

Hey bud! Brings back some memories. I bought one just like it in 1988 and it was a puss case also. Mine had a running motor/4 speed but there wasnt a panel on or in that car that wasnt rusted out. Bought from original owner for $500 and worked on it four years and almost gave it away. 😢
