Thank you for this video! was very helpful. I did this trick maybe 2 years ago on my 2010 prius at 125K/130K miles when it was eating tons of oil. I now have 145K miles on it and I must say my car doesnt eat any oil between 5K mile oil change intervals. My oil catch can sits mostly empty with some condensation in the winter. Highly recommend for anyone looking to potentially fix the root cause of the 2010/2011 prius oil consumption issue. (should probably still clean out EGR/etc)

Hi, when battary cycle is over there is 2 capacity option in the cycle button, 1 is discharging capacity and second is charging capacity. which one is correct and actual?

Hello! What if the engine isn't starting? But I have the triangle of death and that car with the exclamation point, I also have all the brake lights and check engine light on. The mechanic that came out said no codes. I replaced the 12V battery on Dec 30th, and now it died again. When I tried the Dr. Prius App I did get Hybrid battery codes, but I may have been doing it wrong since their computer is probably better?

Hi, new subscriber here from New Zealand (although it looks like you stopped uploading videos two years ago). I have a 2014 Toyota Corolla Fielder (wagon) Hybrid and am new to all this stuff. I generally like to try doing things myself as it gives me a lot of research to do and (hopefully) might save me some $$$ in the end. Just wondering if my Hybrid battery will be the same as shown in your videos and what the best, most economical, option would be to get the car operating as best as possible - testing and switching modules or replacing the whole battery? Aftermarket, OEM, or refurbished? Also saw that the NexCell appears to be sodium-ion now and what you think of that. Will be watching more videos for sure!

If you want the inverter to last longer, it is a good idea to replace the hybrid battery when it's around 70-80% capacity. Cheaper to replace the battery than the inverter.

This probably had been mentioned, but 39% is peak efficiency for Gen3, and generator/battery efficiency is 80%. Or less. So you're looking ~1.5x worse numbers. Still darn good 1/2gal a night as worse case isn't bad!😊😊😊😊😊😊

UPDATE: I did this procedure and 3 months later the battery is running like a champ I just replaced 2 very low voltage cells the reconditioning took like 1 week and 2 days but it was worth it I spent like 300 bucks including the hubby charger and the 2 cells.
