The biggest issues are Lang even without the title IS the leader and on top of that he doesn’t like Marty but won’t say it to his face- so treats him like shit and doesn’t acknowledge anything he brings to the table. If Yuno was doing or saying what Marty does Lang would be patting him on the back constantly.

I'm actually disappointed in Lang for this. He is the unofficial leader of the group yes there is multiple leaders but Lang definitely is the unofficial leader and that is what he was trying to explain. And Lang must understand not everyone is the same and some people need directions and be "hand held" as Lang would say and its nothing wrong with that. Everyone is not the same and some people are not as independent as others. The dons are leaders and Lang especially is the unofficial leader that is the truth whether he wants to admit it or not. But they actually have to lead the people and Lang doesn't seem to want to lead at all he just wants everyone to be independent. Martin just wants to be part of stuff and want recognition because that is how he is. But Lang and Harry is completely different people and they can't understand how Martin works. Gigi is the only one that seem to understand this. It makes me sad because if Lang just would give Martin direction he could contribute so much to the crew. But he can't understand or accept that Martin isn't as independent as others. I understand what Lang wants but his way doesn't work on everyone and Martin really could be extremely valuable but he need directions and validation that is just the truth and it's nothing wrong with that. Good leaders know they have to adapt their leadership to get out the best of the person they leading. Treating everyone the exact same even tho it's fair and an understandable opinion to have. It doesn't work every good leader knows this and it's obvious if you look at good leaders and how they make people succeed. Lang says Martin wants him to be something he isn't. But the same could be said about Lang wanting Martin to be something he isn't. And i wished Lang would understand that he as a leader have to have different leadership with different people. And understand how valuable Martin really could be to the crew if he did.

Also, I think it is really funny that the same subconscious thing with everyone thinking Lang is leader outside of the groupis what Gigi tries to do with being a don. Everyone thinks Lang is the leader because he doesn't give people a reason not to think that way. The company calls each member a board member and points people to other board members when they wanna talk etc. If someone calls Lang for something he will handle it himself and never bring anyone in or if he does bring someone else in he doesn't let the person calling know that.

Marty and Lang are just oil and water. They are great together for heists and jobs but just not day to day things. There are bonds that everyone knows will always be first, Lang/Yuno, JP/Marty, Tony/Octo, ect. Lang doesn’t care about emotions and is more logical, so is Yuno. Yuno doesn’t talk about his emotions, he just tries to find the logic in things. JP is chaotic but is also driven by emotions and what he wants in the moment. Marty wants to be a logical guy but he does have emotions tied into a lot of what he does and acts on them.
