For power spots: i spent most of my time in college, so it's complicated to find time to go out alone, which could be at weekends, but it's not so easy bc i still live with my parents (oh, this economy..) My college has a considerable amout of green and they are relatively quiet. Like a few people pass here and there, but if you are just laying or meditating (some people do this there) usually no one bothers This could be a power spot? As a black woman who practices magick and craft, I love this video so much. Everyone, everywhere has "witchcraft" and "pagan" beliefs. Some with their own Gods, Goddesses, and Spirits, and some with rituals that reflect their surroundings. (Working with the ocean, the mountains, certain animals, certain plants, etc. ) Some are open to all and some only to certain people. But we all have magick. I think the interesting thing about being black is the fact that you can never honestly 100% know our heritage or cultural connection just by looking at us. I am mixed with Scottish, Irish, Welsh, and Scandinavian, but you wouldn't know unless I told you. I connect with all of it. And so when it looks like I don't "belong"🙄 in a certain spaces because I am black, my blood, my ancestors connect me to that circle.

Hi, Aster! We also celebrate El Día de los Finados in Spain, but in the Philippines we do the same as in Brazil, people go to the cemetery and celebrate their ancestors. People do picnics, karaoke and play around to celebrate and to honour them. This year I decided to make an altar for my ancestors and a lot of times I find myself reflecting about life and death. I used to be very afraid of death, but I’ve come to realised that I’m more afraid of not living and being forgotten. Loved the video! Great as always ❤

It’s up to each person to be open about it if they feel comfortable but being open about it comes with consequences as well, either people think you’re crazy or they are afraid of you or they turn their back on you. I personally don’t say it 😀.

Hiiiii Aster, that was such a sweet video, here in México we celebrate Día de Muertos wich is very similar in the fact that its the result of mixing Catholicism (brought from Spain) and our local and precolonized traditions, we go to cemeteries and put altars and offerings, the most famous are a glass of water, salt, flowers that we call Cempazuchil, wich are very vibrant in color and in fragrance, we also put tequila, mezcal or pulque ( alcoholic and very traditional beverages) and also we put food like arroz con mole, and pan de muerto and chocolate or sugar skulls that we call calaveritas. Its one of our most famous traditions and celebrations. Greetings and bleesings from México 🎉👻💀
