Friend, get that motor oil out of your rebel. You MUST use motorcycle oil, which is specially formulated to lubricate the transmission as well.

Very Nice! I'm about to buy a pristine 2009 650S from one of my best friends... I've taken it out a cpl of times and its such a great bike! I started on a 500 Interceptor 35 yrs ago, and this bike rides like its from the same family...narrow, light, flickable, amazing handling, torquey motor.. I'd heard about them for years, but never ridden one b4.. I was looking at anything around 3-4k used and in clean shape from any adult owner.. little did i know it was going to be my buddy's bike lol. I'm a self confessed upgrade-o-holic so I already have a complete upgrade list for the bike planned out, from fender eliminator, to new forks, shock & front brakes, SS lines,... I am super stoked!

I ruined my motorcycle putting car type oil in it, don't use this Castrol oil, use motorcycle recommended oil.
