In the midst of our internal conflicts, we have lost many of our energetic, productive individuals. We have been consumed by wars and battles, which have led to the burning of our energies, the loss of our wisdom, and the implementation of horrific life costs, such as those seen in Tigray, Amhara, Afar, and Oromiya. We have engaged in massacres, displaced vast numbers of people, and destroyed infrastructure, private and public properties, and historic sites across Wollo, Gondar, Afar, and other areas. We have targeted and killed prominent figures, military generals, police officers, high-level decision-makers, and productive individuals. Banks, state financial organizations, academic institutions, health centers, and religious sites have been robbed and damaged. Roads have been obstructed, and various guerrilla fighters, rebels, and extremists have been disseminated throughout our grassroots. Our society, now restless, suffers from deliberately created endless problems. We live in man-made poverty and a life devoid of peace in a land that should be naturally generous and holy. Our grassroots are diverted into conflict, preventing focus on essential tasks such as food production, skill development, and ethical services. We struggle with inadequate shelter, land management, property ownership, energy production, and proper land cultivation. Basic necessities such as grains, clothing, and sanitation are lacking, and our capacity to manage and care for our environment, including water resources and waste, is severely compromised. Our natural resources, including potential water bodies and energy sources, remain untapped. The failure to develop infrastructure, extract and refine resources, and produce essential goods and services exacerbates our plight. Our inability to manage and care for our rivers, create artificial lakes, and generate electricity through dams reflects a broader failure to harness our natural wealth for the benefit of our people. We must address these dire issues with urgency and determination. Our natural society is being systematically undermined, and it is imperative that we restore stability, rebuild our communities, and reclaim our rightful place as a thriving and self-sufficient nation. We are witnessing a destructive cycle in the Amhara region, driven by internal conflict and guerilla warfare. This has led to severe consequences: • Destruction and Fragmentation: The ongoing internal strife has led to the dismantling of Ethiopia into isolated provinces, weakening the overall security and stability. The deliberate targeting of the Amhara region and its resources has resulted in the fragmentation of our natural grassroots and the erosion of our national unity. • Humanitarian Crisis: The relentless warfare has inflicted immense suffering on our people. The ongoing conflict has disrupted essential services, leading to a dire shortage of basic food items. Our people are struggling with hunger and the high cost of living, as essential goods become increasingly unaffordable. • Economic Collapse: The internal conflict has stifled economic activity, leaving many without access to necessary resources and services. Farming and production have been halted, transportation is costly and inadequate, and the lack of infrastructure further exacerbates the problem. • Social Disintegration: The impact of the Fano fighting and other guerilla activities has led to widespread scarcity of goods, construction materials, and clean water. The lack of proper ethical jobs and the overall burden of an unbearable lifestyle have led to a gradual erosion of our quality of life. Our people in the countryside, urban villages, towns, and cities are living in a state of extreme hardship. The war has not only destroyed our physical infrastructure but also dismantled our social fabric. The constant conflict has led to severe shortages and has disrupted the fundamental aspects of daily life, leaving our communities in a state of profound suffering. We must urgently address these issues to alleviate the suffering of our people. It is crucial to halt the internal conflicts, rebuild our communities, and restore stability to ensure that our natural resources and grassroots can thrive once again. The crisis facing our people is not just a series of unfortunate events; it is a deliberate, man-made catastrophe. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the situation: Deliberate Mismanagement and Crisis Creation 1. Man-Made Famine and Scarcity: The ongoing famines, droughts, and lack of basic necessities such as food, clean water, and sanitation are intentionally manufactured. The high costs of sanitation products and the deliberate scarcity of essential goods are designed to keep our people in misery. These conditions are exacerbated by the actions of a few manipulative individuals who benefit from this suffering. 2. Destruction of Natural Resources: There is a reckless destruction of natural resources, including the cutting down of trees without replanting, and the loss of soil and water due to floods. This is a calculated move to degrade our environment and hinder our ability to sustain ourselves. 3. Deceptive Aid and Exploitation: We have resorted to deceitful practices by relocating our people to concentration camps and then begging for international aid, such as food, water, and sanitation supplies. This exploitation is masked as political and humanitarian efforts but is fundamentally a crime against our own people. 4. Neglect of Sustainable Practices: Despite living on fertile land and having access to water resources, we fail to cultivate crops, process food products, and maintain sanitation. Our environment is neglected, and our natural resources are wasted. 5. Manipulation and Obstruction: There are deliberate obstacles placed to prevent proper land management, water conservation, and effective use of resources. This manipulation ensures that our people remain dependent and are unable to improve their own conditions. Urgent Call for Change It is imperative that we address these man-made crises and work towards genuine solutions: • Immediate Relief: Provide immediate and effective relief to those suffering from famine and lack of basic necessities. Ensure that aid is used to genuinely alleviate suffering and not to perpetuate exploitation. • Sustainable Management: Implement sustainable practices for resource management, including reforestation, soil conservation, and proper water usage. Prioritize the protection and restoration of our natural environment. • Transparency and Accountability: Ensure transparency in the distribution of aid and hold accountable those responsible for creating and perpetuating these crises. Engage in honest and ethical practices to rebuild trust and stability. • Empower Communities: Empower local communities to manage their resources effectively, cultivate crops, and maintain sanitation. Provide training and support to enhance self-sufficiency and resilience. The situation requires immediate and decisive action to end the exploitation and restore the dignity and well-being of our people. Our natural resources and grassroots communities must be protected and preserved for the future. The extended internal conflicts, characterized by attacks on army troops and security forces by guerrilla fighters, have caused immense suffering among our people. The atrocities-including mass killings, property destruction, and sexual violence-are both unacceptable and intolerable. Immediate action is required to address these grave injustices. Call for Unity and Action 1. Reject Divisive Forces: We cannot let ourselves be divided by greed, power struggles, or external manipulations. These divisions only serve to weaken us and prolong our suffering. It is essential that we come together as a unified nation to confront these challenges with a common purpose. 2. Collective Effort for Peace: Now more than ever, we must focus on collective action. A commitment to peace and justice must guide our efforts. We need to work together to end the cycle of violence that has caused so much pain and destruction. 3. Engage All Stakeholders: We call upon all stakeholders, including diaspora communities, decision-makers, and military and security forces, to prioritize the well-being of our nation. Your roles are crucial in restoring order and advancing our shared goals of peace and stability. 4. Rebuilding Trust: We must take concrete steps to rebuild trust among our communities. Efforts should be made to address grievances, ensure justice, and promote reconciliation. 5. Commitment to a Better Future: Let us commit ourselves to creating a future where peace and prosperity are not just aspirations but realities. This requires determination, solidarity, and unwavering resolve. In this critical moment, our strength lies in our unity. Our Amhara people, our natural grassroots in Gondar, Gojam, Wollo, and Showa, as well as our grassroots living in different parts of our motherland, have reached a point where we must speak our final, solid words-no more advice. The individuals in our army troops, the youth and adolescents, both male and female, in our security forces, are all drawn from our natural fellow grassroots society-whether Oromo, Amhara, Tigre, Hadiya, Benishangul, Sidama, Gurage, Gedio, Silte, Somali, Gambella, Kambata, Amaro, Wolayita, or others in our country. It is a part of our history that we have engaged in numerous internal conflicts, wars, and guerrilla fights against one another, against state systems, and within the country's army troops. In the past, we have betrayed our own people. We have hanged great individuals, handed over sacred properties and written works, and killed philosophers and other significant figures within our society. We even invited foreign invaders, allowing their military troops to rob our properties, displace our citizens, and distort the livelihoods of our natural grassroots while we remained silent. We have fought sabotage wars for the advantage of a few, including external missionary groups, at the cost of our natural masses. We have fought in the name of Amhara, Tigre, Oromo, and others in our homeland, but the truth is that our natural races are inherently bonded, interwoven, and intermixed with one another in ways that go beyond our perception. We find Amhara among Oromos, Tigreans, and others, just as we find Tigreans among Amharas, Oromos, and others. Our roots are like the "Oda-Warka, Sholla Tree"-deeply intertwined. Yet, we continue to induce endless problems, internal wars, and conflicts against one another, driven by a mysterious network of internal opportunists, business manipulators, brokers, religious advocates, and external missionary groups. These clever masters and actors, along with grassroots guerrilla fighters, have played a significant role in intensifying and widening internal wars in our country through their deliberately designed formulations of internal collisions and conflicts. We have driven each other away and contributed to the loss of our former natural parts: Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, Yemen, and parts of Sudan and Kenya. These regions, once integral to our country, were detached by interwoven forces and mysterious departures, leaving us with bare land. The then-masters of our world-explorers and colonizers-passed unnatural and unjust decisions that denied our natural laws and severely hurt our country and its natural mass. They victoriously left us isolated, detaching our natural Red Sea gates from the host root country. Our former history distorted and damaged our nation, but now our youth are analyzing these matters and are determined to restore what was lost. The world community must evaluate and correct these issues based on natural laws, integration, and stability for natural peace in the region. It is time for the world leaders, the great decision-makers of our world, to recognize the natural bonds among the grassroots in the region-the root society-and the natural interconnections that exist within the sea society of our world. The time has come to reevaluate and correct the deliberately passed, merciless, unnatural, and unrepresentative deeds of the past. World leaders must now see and understand the natural bonds that exist within our society and work towards integration and stability based on natural peace and the inherent connections of our people. The deliberate actions taken against our country have been designed to weaken our grassroots and induce long-lasting instability and poverty. The detachment of the Red Sea gate and the encirclement of our country by smaller regional states have rendered us landlocked, obstructing direct communication and trade with the rest of the world. This strategy, while seemingly beneficial in the short term to those smaller states, has left them unstable, fearful, and dependent on Ethiopia's natural resources. These states, despite their apparent isolation, remain restless and continue to interfere in our affairs. They rely on us, their natural roots, yet remain uncomfortable and unsteady in their position.
