get rid of the guides, the thing thats so great about osrs is there's a bunch of ways to play it. Do whatever your going to enjoy the most.

As someone who just hit 1750 Total Level on their Iron, I 100% just setting your own goals if a guide is burning you out. "I'm going to aim for Barrows Gloves" "Going to hit the pre-requisites for Song of the Elves" "How close am I do getting these Hard Diaries done?" Give yourself short, medium and long term goals that are useful/you find interesting.

I actually really liked doing ardy knights for thieving when you're over lvl +80 becuase you dont get caught as much, and can easliy watch a movie or youtube on the other screen. Pyramide plunder is actually my second favorite, mostly because its very different and a bit more active. You also make some descent cash if you keep all the golden treasures. But best of all, you can get the Pharaoh's sceptre, which is SUPER good on a GIM. First of all it makes it easier to train pyramide plunder, because you can tp to the start. But also, you can build a Occult altar in on members house, and then everybody can use it which is niiiice. But you should first start pyramide plunder when you're 71 or 81, becuase otherwise getting the scepter is a bit too low chance for my taste And if you get multiple, you can use it to teleport to tombs of amascut, which is slighty faster than using the fairy ring

You should think about streaming this game, it has a really active community on Twitch and is for many considered a second monitor game. With RuneLite, you can scale your UI up so it doesn't look so insanely tiny on modern screens. It's a Plugin called "Stretched Mode" and should be pre-installed. Also there is no shame using the OSRS Wiki, this game has one of the best Wikis and is something many people use daily to read up on stuff.

The Varlamore continent as a whole has been such an awesome expansion to this game. It has bosses of basically every skill level. It has some fantastic new skilling methods, like the thieving you did in this video. It's got some great music in most areas. The continent looks awesome on the standard client, 117 HD, and especially HDOS. Solid 9/10 so far. I do think you should consider stopping following the guide, which is something you talked about in here. Guides are fine to start, but you obviously have a very good idea how to play this game now and how to seek out stuff to do. That Oziris guide is 6+ years out of date anyways, so you'll miss out on a whole lot with it.

Canifis gives you a ton of marks of grace for Graceful, but dont wait too long. if you're 20 levels above the course itll be reduced marks

Glad you're thinking about not using a guide. Part of the fun is figuring out methods on your own. This whole community's obsession over efficiency is really a fun-stealer imo

first time watching your vids, played wow and esp wow classic my entire life 1800 total ironman little over a month im hooked , always been on and off with rs now i just cant quit. takes a lot of getting used to, but rs07 feels so much better seeing my account and progress never getting wiped.

I would recommend against following a long term guide. You're taking too much of the game away from yourself. Instead pick some goals, figure out how you'll get there, and uses guides for the specific activities you've chosen.

I just did agility to 74 and made 3.7mill from agility pyramid when from 68 agility after full graceful gonna get it to 75 soon n get like 800k it’s like 200-240k per hour if you wanna do that and each lap you get 10k

If you still need Arrav doing, my alt hasn’t done it yet? Edit: the random event thing isn’t exactly true, and you can also right click > dismiss them. But unless you have every possible drop from them I would avoid doing that, unless you don’t care for completion logs :) Edit edit: camelot teleport is your best bet for catherby teleport.

The best way to advance in this game is to do whatever it is that you find most entertaining, burnout in the late game is real. Edit: y fletch?

I did Ardy Knight splashing method all the way to 99. This was before Varlamore came out but the GP was the reason I stayed.

In my opinion thieving Ardy knights gets way less annoying around 80ish thieving when you stop failing so much. I use an Xbox controller with a program called JoyToKey and just bind every button/trigger to left click and use the joystick to control the mouse when I need it. Then I just spam the triggers alternating depending on which hand is getting tired

Saw that small clip of wintertodt and just wanted to let you know that in the music plugin, you can turn off other players' area sounds. Helps with the volume while also allowing you to hear when you stop chopping.

when you died at lumby why not pick pocket the mans 4 times? oh and click the vampire he givers xp lamps, as well with all other random events that give out outfits, once you complete all outfits/emotes they start giving you xp lamps

Guides can be good if you are stuck, but it’s better to be “less” efficient and not burn out on the game by doing what you feel like, rather than being “most” efficient and burn out not having fun.

An efficiency guide is a suggestion not what you need to do. If you think you’ll have more fun doing something else do whatever it is you want to do.

The Oziris efficiency guide is INCREDIBLY dated. I think that guide was made in like 2018? Before that even Theres been significant content improvements and much better ways to grind your skills. I absolutely would not follow that guide Edit: just finished, super glad you did varlamore content

Blackjacking sucks and I wish people wouldn't recommend it to new players. Regular pickpocketing is way better

If you want an afk thieving activity, Sorceress's Garden is pretty nice c: It'sd a labyrint you run while avoiding some spirits to get a fruit. If set-up and timed correctly you click once, and your character will run for a minute and pick the fruit. So it's pretty much click once -> wait 1 min -> walk into garden again -> click -> wait 1 min... etc Though I don't remember if you need energy/stamina potions for it. If so it might not be possible for now. The downside with this method is you don't really get any rewards other than xp :P

Ardi Knights are way better when u use these dodgy necklaces and the "shadow veil" spell

i would highly recommend not following guides, and try to experiment with things youre doing even if youre using a guide, like stealing from the chests with spam clicking, just try to see how things actually work instead of taking ppls words for it or the guides, often the wiki is wrong and guides are wrong.

Honestly the key/house robbing method is the best... you have to click like once every minute for 3 minutes, and then swap houses... very good afk method to 82

That guide might be a bit outdated you're following so it's good you're starting to do what you want to do on your own now.

Honestly its a good idea NOT to follow a guide, especially as your first experience. Runescape biggest strength is its sandbox with open-endedness. Following a guide completely counteracts that freedom the game offers. Your best bet is to make personal goal and achievements and work towards those. A 2.5 million XP grind will burn out even 20 year veterans of the game. If you need some kind of guide just sort the quests in quest helper by "optimal ironman" and go from there.

Never found a thieving methode i enjoyed until i discovered theiving rogue chests in the wilderness. Low intensity methode, high xp like 300k/hr and alot of GP! Only downside is you can get PKed from time to time

Yeah I would use the guide for reference but definitely just do what YOU want to do. You will find so much more enjoyment grinding for the things YOU want.

start completing every quest you can right now it will make the experience way more enjoyable. And a huge huge item you want to aim for are barrows gloves, from completing Recipe For Disaster

Anybody that recommends blackjacking should not be trusted. Literally anything else is a better time. Squrkin', Pyramid Plunder, Artefact Thieving, and Underwater Agility are some examples of thieving training that don't just involve spam clicking. The thing is, the end goal of thieving is just more spam clicking on NPCs (Elves for Teleport Seed, Vyres for Blood Shards, Master Farmers for general seeds)

If you're finding brimhaven fun grind it for the dope blue graceful rewards

following guides is more efficient and sweaty but going your own route at your own pace is alot more enjoyable imo. thats the beauty of the game you can do what you want when you want there is no wrong way of playing it.

i find guides way too grindy! Nothing better than logging in and doing whatever i feel like at the time

As always brilliant video. Just a tip you don't have to limit yourself to long grinds because it can be draining always switch it up and do something else. Also remember you don't have to follow a guide its not a rule book its exactly what it says "A Guide" It was a great watch!
