There are three dynasties in the history of the NBA, Russell's Celtics, Jordan's Bulls, and Mikan's Lakers, yet we never consider the Minneapolis Lakers as one of the best teams ever, 5 hall of famers played for that team during the years in which Mikan led them to win 5 titles in 6 years (6 in 7 if we also count the 1948 NBL title) of those players I personally believe that at least Jim Pollard deserved to be included in the top50 and top75 players in NBA history, and not just Mikan

The three favorite cable tv channels I used to watch, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Disney Channel, are all dead. They’ve been dead since 2013 because of Netflix. That along with Hulu and Amazon Prime have proved that cable TV is obsolete. Nowadays, the three channels Netflix killed have retaliated by making their own streaming channels, Disney+, Max and Paramount+, and are currently giving Netflix a taste of its own medicine. That’s what I call Karma. It’s the same old process of “Out with the old, in with the new.”

Here’s a possible solution. Total segregation from the African Americans that like live and love the gangsta rap culture. The home guard could escort all gangsta rap people to a massive walled In city called gangsta rap land .Electricity gas Tv music and water would be supplied. Food and medical supplies would be dropped by helicopters. No guns allowed. There would be no crime as gangsta rap culture have no laws. Every three months the home guard backed up by a thousand military soldiers march into the city to remove the dead. The rest of America including African Americans that are not into the gangsta rap culture Could live their life’s happily . Total segregation from people of the gangsta rap culture is the only and best way. I say goodbye and good luck to them.

The main reason cable TV is dying is that they don't get the concept of being competitive. ATT for instance, just keeps jacking up their monthly prices for packages with less and less content. Moreover, it's all such a waste of money paying for 150 channels, when most people would only use 10-20 of them. Why charge $ 200 per month, and have most people want to get rid of the service, or charge $ 80 per month and keep most of the customers? After all, $ 80 is more money than zero.

The cable and satellite companies did it to themselves, they lobbied congress to make a law to force all the broadcasting companies to switch from analog to digital, and they knew the digital antenna was BS, so they figure that everyone would have to buy either cable or satellite or go without tv, because having the switch from analog to digital, got rid of free TV, so now streaming service is giving a much better and cheaper offer, to the cable and satellite companies killed themselves

I still like using cable tv because even though it has long commercial breaks and marathon of that show/movies. In countries like Japan, commercial breaks are shorter compared to United States. I can also learn new things from watching documentary and talk shows, but cable tv is what gathers family and friends the most. Cable TV is like a campfire for modern needs, just a future is becoming more odd not only in United States but also Japan, South Korea, or to wrap it all up with the countries that are high in status.

I enjoyed cable television because it united all my friends at school, because we all tuned in to our favorite shows and talked about it at school, and also because of the fact that you can’t always watch what you want. You had to make sure you were on time for a show or a movie or a cartoon, and if not you had to watch something else, but what’s good about that is that you end up watching other interesting stuff that you’ve never heard of before.

Speaking of Netflix, they are dying, and I think it’s for four big reasons, 1: they are more expensive than the competition, 2: they charge more for 4K and for the right to stream on more than one device (others do it for free), 3: they put more content out than others at a cost: quantity over quality, and 4: they lost a lot of content from original owners buying their properties back and putting it on their services. I myself canceled my Netflix service a few months ago.

I grew up with cable but holy shit I’m glad it’s becoming obsolete. Could you imagine overpaying for a few channels showing shitty reality tv shows or having to be locked to a few cable tv providers depending on your location? Legit, cable tv services just want to fuck you whenever they had the chance, they don’t care about streaming if it meant they can fool you into making you think you’re getting your money’s worth. The craziest part is that it’s the least accessible form of entertainment today.
