for what i know the 9800X3D have around 5/8% performance increase over the 7800X3D but with the cost of more power consumption in CS2 and if you are playing at 1280x960 you will lose some performance only in heavy scenarios with smokes,mollys/nades (like inferno banana). will depend on what resolution and settings you play. but, try to watch some benchmarks with the 7800x3d and the 4070 super and look for the GPU usage to see if the 4070 super never goes over 90% usage... over that number and with the spikes of usage is when the 4070 super its on limit and you are no longer cpu bound.

you dont need a 4090 to play CS2 and 4070ti super or the 4080 is enough to get 500+ fps and pretty sure this cards will be CPU bound most of the time too. but, if i was you i would first see videos about the 4070ti super or the 4080 (in multiple channel). atm here on this channel you can see the 1080p with all settings and most of the maps... enjoy

pretty sure the 4080s is enough for it... some times the game can drop below 500 fps but is not GPU problem. this GPU will not run at 100% usage. so i think you will be fine

@@nicoasmr2103 my benchmarks are made and will be made with "default" settings. (besides nvidia CP or windows energy power plan adjustment without any OC) atm many apps are causing conflict with CS2 (even msi afterburner/rivatuner, OBS), causing crashes, stutters, latency spikes, 1% lows drops... maybe in the future i will do it for people who are interested in this tweaks but for the avg CS2 gaming i will dont do it.

yes around that, depending how long you stay on map, public server, vs bots, cap or not... but yes, atm in general we lost around 10 to 15% on 1% lows in this case. but like, in casual MM 10vs10 (no dm) if i cap it to 400 fps i have a lot more 1%lows... 300+ all the time. (take in mind public servers dont have the same stability every time, so some times it can drop due tyo a random event)

@@satwinderdasson8590 cap your fps example: if you have avg 400 fps but you min fps almost never goes below 250... cap it to 250 if you have avg 600/700 fps but you min fps almost never goes below 400/500... cap it to 400/500 in other words, take your min fps as your reference to get your cap. this video shows how to do it ua-cam.com/video/Av4Oqb_oDnM/v-deo.html rivatuver can add extra latency on cs2 if you dont set it right.

2:14 i have 410 fps cap in Rivatuner only and i dont use any async/gsync/freesync, nvivia CP framelimiter or ingame cap... in other words, all you see is Rivatuner cap.

well, i mean... you dont really need a RTX 4090 but is the best GPU atm for CS2. All others "mid/high end GPUs have similar AVG fps" and only fps drops below the 4090 performance on very demanding spots with smokes/mollys/nades. according to all tests people did... the 7800x3d is the best gaming CPU atm.

This update is shit. I remember your video you had 1% lows ~240fps now 160fps. Planning to build pc but idk now if I need high end because even with it 1% struggles.

@@Daaagas yes, this update did have performance problems... After this update, valve already made few improvements but still not the same. at least get a very good X3D cpu... will help a lot in CS2.

"our processor is the same" you mean your cpu is th 7800X3D? if yes, 100% something is not right. my best advice is for you to find a YT guide for gaming/CS2 performance.

i dont own a 12900k but with the 12900k you will not have "stable" +/- 600 fps, will be more around 300/400 fps (ofc can reach 500 or 600 but not stable). for a 4090 is recommended 13900k vs 14900k or other high end amd cpu.

that max ms around 5-10 on cs2 graph its "normal". on rivatuner the ms are very good (2-3) and stable, so nothing to worry about. few time ago i did test Vulkan and i was not happy with it. i never saw in any benchmark or someone playing CS2 with that ms graph stable at 2-3 ms. if you have any video showing like that, please link me it so i can talk with that person and try to figure it out what is going on.

​@@FocusGamlng i saw some stable 4/5 ms and sometimes even 3ms on stream twitch.tv/pago3 - me myself i had stable 5/6 ms but the reason could be that on dms u have more models and i saw that he had that on normal matchmaking so it could be from that idk

@@xd-xs9bu DMs with bots performance are kinda different even server configs can affect that... (in some benchmarks i choose DM bots not because its the best performance but because is more consistent) and yes, on normal MM 5v5 i have around 3/4/5 ms too and some times go up to 8 or 9 when i die, kill someone or on spec mode. Also, my internet connection is not the best... like its good but not the best! About vulkan, i did test it by myself many times and i didnt like it. i will check it again and make a video. (can take some time until i make that video but stay tunned)

after my last replay i was testing few settings ingame, windows, nvidia, apps... and i found what is causing it (atleast i did replicate it without losing that many ms and then i turn it on again and the ms spikes are back). i will make a video about it after im 100% sure about it (just need to run few more tests).

its possible on DM because CPU bound but in areas like banana on inferno with mollys/smokes/nades... is not even close. And on the top of that, if you use max settings with the 4070 super, you normal gameplay will lose around 200+fps and that dosent happen with the 4090. But yes, the 4070 super is a good gpu to play CS2.

what are you talking about? this test is DM offline server with bots and this means my 1% lows will be affected too. the ms spikes on cs2 graph is because Rivatuner "application detection level" and even with that the game dont have a single stutter that is notice on screen. if i play 5v5 comp or 10v10 casual, with 400 fps cap, i will have my lows at 350 fps -/+ with a setup like this you dont have to change anything on BIOS or OC the GPU to to have a great gaming performance. (unless the pc is having issues)

I don't care who criticizes with knowledge, it's part of it. and yes, i do play other games full max out and i enjoy it alot.

I never tested the 13900K but its well known that 7800X3D performs better. You can always try to run the 13900k with 8 cores. (make sure you know what are you doing)
