Learning How to Roast Coffee
This week, I learned how to roast coffee! I bought some raw coffee beans and used a cast iron skillet to roast them. We tried the final product in cold brew, a percolator, and a regular coffee maker and it all tasted fantastic. I highly recommend trying this.
I tried some new camera stuff this week and it unfortunately resulted in some shoddy camera shots. Apologies!

Learning How to Make & Throw a Knife!

This week, my cousin Hudson and I ventured to the family ranch in hopes of crafting and throwing knives! While we were relatively successful, there's always room for improvement. It turns out that the mild steel that we were using could not be hardened enough to keep a point or an edge. We ended up getting the throwing part down pretty well, but the knives always ended up dented in on the end. ...

It seems the last comments on this video were about 5 years ago but I wanted to answer your question about whether a truly ambidextrous person exists. And the answer is yes. When I was a little girl I had a babysitter and she could write with both hands in opposite directions and in the same direction at the same time it wasn't something she taught herself it was something she was born withit, she could also write upside down with both hands in either direction or opposite directions and both handwritings were beautiful. It was an amazing thing to see!! As a child my left hand was tied down and I was taught to write and eat with my right hand but they failed to control all the other things that I did with my left hand. Because of this my right hand became a bit more dominant by about age 2 1/2 and I was sitting on the floor writing in a little pad of paper and telling my left hand that it wasn't allowed to write until it could write as good as my right hand and I continued to write with my right hand from then on. Skip forward almost 60 years and I had practiced off and on trying to use my left hand again but it always felt uncomfortable except for the things that it could do very well with were most things. The things that weren't controlled. But I got a muscle disorder and ended up in a power wheelchair and when learning to drive it they set it for my right hand and I couldn't drive or control it at all. And then I realized I'm a left-handed driver so I told him to switch the controller to the left side and I was able to drive it easily and very well right away. So I resumed practicing writing with my left hand and became more serious about it and now I'm able to write very nicely with my left hand and it feels at home. It's still has a little bit of fine motor deficit but it's my go to and I feel restored. My wrting is more uniform than my right hand and my thoughts are more connected to my left so I don't make as many mistakes as I did with my right hand. I think I was naturally mixed use or what they call cross dominant but I know I definitely was left handed. From what you say you sound like you are cross dominant also and there are many advantages to that. If you feel inclined to write with your right hand, keep practicing and don't give up. As for those claiming to be truly ambidextrous... that is quite a rare thing and veryVERY few people truly are. Simply writing with both hands does not make someone ambidextrous. Ambidextrousness comes from birth and a person can write forwards backwards upside down in the same direction or opposite directions AT THE SAME TIME. They can do all things equally as well on both sides. I would have been a skeptic if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.

I made some wax before. It was a little greasy so I tried the 2:1 beeswax to Coconut oil and it was so hard, no way was it going into my 'stache so I went back and forth a few time adding 1/8 tsp of oil trying to find that perfect blend. I want it to go on quick, no hair dryers no fuss...I have my latest batch setting up as we speak..

Do you really only have ONE handwriting? I discovered that I have TWO...depending on if I'm "over writing" or "under writing". If you're interested, here is where I found this... ua-cam.com/video/-G8EPWVjCL0/v-deo.html I always just thought I was inconsistent in handwriting...turns out I've been "consistently inconsistent"! Ha!

I tried writing cursive with my left hand and I could not believe how easy it was. I even tried using my mouse in my left hand and it did not make a difference. I guess I am not right handed. I thought I was right handed. I am going to do more writing with my left hand. Oh and by the way no one forced me to write with my right hand. So I think ambidexterity is a thing and it occurs naturally.

If you want a really strong mixture, add a couple of small spoons of natural honey, the change is amazing, and honey is beneficial for the hair, doing that you will already have a good aroma of honey and you will not need essential oils.

I write with a pen with my left hand. When I write on a chalkboard or whiteboard, I write with my right hand. This is because it was always hard to keep a straight line and also smearing. I am considering trying to write right-handed as I would like to get into fountain pens. I can right without too much smearing with my left with a fountain pen, but when I hold one in my right had it feels much more natural and the angle of the nip is in a better position. Plus, I've hear it is more arm movement and less finger and wrist movement with fountain pens. It's slow going, but I'm making progress.

I've been learning to draw, write and generally use my right hand for a week or two now, it is kinda useful for when you wanna switch things up, and this is actually pretty inspiring. I've also noticed my right hand tends to write in a very simple and professional way, while my left hand tends to be more squashed and fast paced, being slightly leaning but not in a bad way. It was quite interesting to see

I sufer tendinitis and carpal tunnel syndrome in my right hand, I am learning to use my left hand in case I am unable to draw ever again, atm I am depressed due to this problem but if I am able to get ambidextrious in the future it would help me a lot to balance the load on my right hand. Guys who have never suffered from these pains, please be careful on how you use your thecnology and your health in general, is so frustrating when you feel useless, when you are not able even to do simple tasks. I will continue in this, I need it to recover part of my life.

Learning to do this was easier after playing guitar for 5 years. You build finger strength in your hand. The writing part became more about precision and legibility vs grip strength and coordination.

I thought i was left handed my whole but then i found out that i may be mixed handed. Broke my left hand 2 days ago so trying to use my right hand to study. It feels very annoying but i realised that i am actually better at getting used to my non dominant hand than other people. It is probably because i use my right hand for other tasks as much as my left hand. I hope i can learn to write smoothly with my right.

My left hand writing and right hand writing are totally different. I don't like crossing midline so I do stuff on my left with my left hand and stuff on my rightwith my right hand. When I was t teacher I'd start on theleft, write to midline, the switch to my right. My students would always freak out!

Do you think about how you hold and work the pen with the hand you normally write with and reverse it in your mind it will make it a lot easier I trained myself to write left-handed and I'm a natural right hander when I was in high school and I can write almost more readability with my left hand then I came right but my right hand can write just a little faster.

Luke comes from Latin to LUCIUS/LUCEM meaning *light*. Lucifer means... Light bringer, it was one of the name of the planet Venus (not the goddess, the actual planet in the sky) because it would be visible and super bright right before sunrise; it became associated with the demon thing when Christianity came up with ways to scare folk from practicing pagan religion. Btw, the character Lucifer does not appear anywhere in the Christian Bible.
