I think the reason they look angry or not smiling, is because they weren’t sure what a ‘photograph’ is. I have photo of my mom when she was 5, looking angry in aphoto because her brothers told her no matter what she wears, the photo will show her naked.

Yup, saw Ceri the crafter do this but he used a piece of cling wrap to smooth out the napkin. I just use my fingers.

If you hold the brush upside down they won’t be backwards; but you might get a bit wet 😂

I often find myself laughing out loud at some of your comments especially those directed at yourself and mistakes you make, and for me, that's what makes me love you and your videos even more. I know I've called myself an idiot when I make an obvious error I should have seen coming. You aren't afraid of showing your true self. I've seen so many youtube videos where you can tell the crafter is overly concerned with perfection. Keep doing what you're doing. I'm glad I found your site. I've worked with toilet paper rolls before, but not this way, so I will try this idea as soon as I have a free roll.

Hi Christy. Have you ever tried the iron method with napkins? I have it on my "to do" list. On your bird piece, just grunge it up a lot and tada, those other pieces you added will fade into the background. Add a little label too. Perfect then. 😁 Another suggestion: use your tag punch after you put the napkin on (let dry of course) then punch the top. TFS Hope you have a great day. 🌞

I love this idea and the variety of buttons. I have a small votive candle in my supplies that I use to rub on the ends of string. It puts a small amount of wax on the string that makes it possible to smash the ends of the string together. This makes it easier to thread the sting into small holes, beads, etc.

I love your identification cards! The grungier the better! I love your stories like someone else said also! I like to read people’s comments too! And I think you’ll appreciate this: since the last iPhone update, when I use Siri to dictate, she puts commas in various places, wherever she wants it, no rhyme or reason. I usually take those out, but I’m getting sick of doing that so I may just let her have her way! I’ve noticed on some other people’s comments that she’s putting commas also. I don’t know what her problem is. I have an Apple store here but it’s across town and I just don’t feel up to going over there to have them. Tell me what the problem is. Anyway, have a good week! Nana Joe. (And as you can see, she doesn’t like my voice either because she never gets my name right. I almost always review my comment before I post because she’s so bad at interpreting my Southern drawl.)

Hi kk from rotorua new zealand kia ora I'm new subbie for 2025 Feb.,...an these cards are awesome I do have 3 big bags 🎒 tprolls an now I know what to do with them. I've used them for allsorts of things but not crafts like this I'm 70yrs old an enjoy retirement with a few ops here an there as we do when we're this age, but crafting I just love. Thanks Debbie ,

I love using napkins this way… Did you try to use sanding paper to ‘cut off’ the napkin on the side? It works very well!

Your crocheted tags would make the most beautiful front panels to your journals. Maybe you could make then removable..... so the buyers could use as a book mark in the journal, or a book, or a secret writing spot. ❤Wendy

Never apologize for being awesome Christy, you are such an inspiration. Love love love napkin art, so easy to tuck into a busy day and you feel like you have crafted something pretty! I like to use my coarse nail file to 'cut' the napkin off the edge. I think Timmy has a sanding disc that goes on your ink handle. I keep all my 'distressing tools' in a clear pouch. Oh my gosh! Great idea using the white paper under the napkin and stamping too. They came out so awesome. The glue method is so much easier. I love them. Thanks for sharing.
