I am looking for a new wallet where I don’t need to fold my cash. I am interested in the Frenchie co speed mini and Trove cash wrap for the ability to lay the cash unfolded while having quick access to cards. Have you checked out the Trove to see if you would like that a little more?

I agree with your cons. The benefit of this bag, for me, is the comfortable straps, and I have been able to put a Peak Design clip on it, but it was a tight fit. Otherwise, the camera access is very tight for my Sony A7C, let alone my A1. If you want your camera to be accessible the Peak Design clips are a must.

To my eyes Promist gives a more analogue look. Which i would prefer in the artistic projects that would benefit from taking the digital edge off. Great comparison video btw.

Didn't know the fanny straps took up that much space. Was mulling over the Nomatic for half a year and nearly got it but with shipping cost factored-in, just couldn't be justified. Will just have to work with the Lowepro for now

I had to return this backpack because it felt like a bunch of bricks when I put my light Canon M6 in it. I can put the Canon M6 in my normal backpack and it feels fine, I can carry it all day, but for some reason in the Prvke it feels awful after only 15 minutes and no amount of adjusting the straps will make it work. Aside from that I also had all the problems you mention, and especially the camera cube not really fitting properly, it should fit like a glove. I will get this bag again if they add load lifters and the ability to change the strap height, and better pockets. All of the pockets on here are pretty much useless to me, especially the ones which are on the same panel as the laptop compartment.

This is a very old bag that came out way before the Nomatic Cube Pack. I remember when the PGYTech OneMo Backpack came out, one of it's features was an included sling pack, but the top portion extended just a very short way. Inspired by this, I bought a Passport Duo and stuck it in my Lowepro BP Protactic 450 AW. I did this before the pandemic so, needless to say, before Nomatic ever collaborated with Pete. The sort of kinda drawback of the Passport Duo is that the padding is thicker, as it was never designed to fit into another bag the way the Nomatic Cube is. Having said that, the extra padding means it will take being bumped around better than the Nomatic when in backpack mode, for whatever that's worth. While they both have their uses, I find a packable day pack to be more practical than either option for my purposes since I mainly use them as a secondary camera bag for travel and a packable day pack is more flexible in use and easier to pack in my main pack. It's not a perfect solution so YMMV but I prefer the bigger space and lighter weight of a daypack to the padding of an expandable cube.

Good review. I have been going back and forth between this and the PRVKE Light and I am going with the Light because I had the same concerns with the cube and I want a light weight bag.

Maybe it's my untrained eye, but it seems the Pro mist gives the light a little magenta tint, while the glimmer seems give a little blue. What do you think?

For me, the long dividers in the pro cube (31l) are a real pain. If you want to store your camera sideways, with a longish lens, so that it can be accessed from the quick access flap then you cant. The dividers are too long to be fitted in any useful way across the width of the bag. Good video though - thanks.

As for the photography bundle I am not interested in, I think I would buy a smaller camera cube to put in it. I am not a photographer, I just have my DSLR and two lenses. I do not need a huge cube. I do need a bag that can hold all my pouches, laptop, tablet, and calendar when I am doing every day carry. I am saddened by the news of the Capture, thought it would be a good backpack on a small day hike for that. I wonder if it would work on the daisy chain on the straps?
