    Been sober for 80 days, but well... ngl, I did take two tokes in two different occasions and both times I felt like all my energy flooded away, I couldn't lock in working and stopped running for a week... I still have a little nug because every 30 days or so I get so stressed up I end up having thoughts about doing it "just once" every now and then, but I think I'm in my journey of quitting and embracing sobriety... I did slip up those two times, but after smoking 2grams a day for 10 years I can say I'm kinda prod though :( Do you happen to "lapse" every now and then? How long have you been off the za? Thanks 4 the vid, cheers from Argentina

    My path to stopping was trying and failing for two years. The longest I went was maybe a week. Then I had a panic attack smoking and haven’t wanted to smoke after that. It was horrific and I damn near called the ambulance.😂. Cut up my weed card after that and haven’t smoked it or had the desire to. I knew the reasons I should quit. The money it costs, the slow deterioration it caused in my mental health, the wasted time just sitting around smoking doing the same shit every night, the risk of losing my job to a random drug test. But when you physically feel all those reasons, I realized it just isn’t worth it. Made quitting super easy

    Yeah , just keep quitting til you do quit entirely! Habits are hard to break! But you want to be in control, not something controlling you, it’s this struggle.

    Many gotta understand, each person has their own relationship with Marijuana. I tend to smoke after work and i hsve zero effects, but if i smoked all day everyday id probably be schizo.

    The only reason I want to quit is since it’s still not fully legalized where I live. I still can’t easily get good shit. I always have to go through loop holes cause I don’t wanna drive 3 hours to Michigan and that means I’m taking the risk of getting laced shit. Also weed gives me good ideas but flatlines the ability to take action towards them. Also I’m seeing all these glimpses of success in life and a lot is improving but it feels like I haven’t been able to fully progress and appreciate it because I’m too busy being high. Ugh

  • @sgmmk5
    @sgmmk5 6 місяців тому

    No, wrong. Legalization happened because of people who use it recreationally and medically fighting for it to be legalized, not the government trying to control us. If anything weed makes you more open minded and aware. It expands your thinking. Potheads like you wanted weed to be legal for so long and now you complain? Please. Don't smoke it if you feel that is best for you but don't speak for the people who choose to use it for fun and for medicine (which by the way is so much more effective for many conditions than most other medicines)

    For me, my mind would rebel if I said I ain’t smoking. I kept an ounce, a couple vape pens, bag of 2gram gummies around for the first couple months, because I felt I was not really quitting if I was just sequestering from weed…I felt I was only quitting if I had the option to get high any dang time I wanted…but CHoSE not to. Eventually, I gave it all to ‘responsible’ smokers. Each does it their own way. I just reminded myself of the truth…you CAN smoke any time you want, but if you do…X, Y, and Z will happen. Now, you couldn’t pay me to smoke weed.

    Truly. Slaves are better kept drugged, with poor nutrition. Ever wonder why sugar stuff is so cheap and meat so expensive? Ever wonder why they are legalizing a drug which is known for sucking the motivation and testosterone out of you? You are spot on with this , brother. Man up, American men! We need you now more than ever…

    If you want to quit smoking weed try eating it. Not to change the way of taking it but, to feel the real effect of sedation wiz has. Why does someone want to feel sedated? Maybe we learnt something was more pleasurable stoned, like playing soccer, at first it did, now stamina an muscle cramps have gone over the roof. My body is less capable of contracting muscles properly. And my nose has a hard time to let air pass trough. Adding that I became ultrasensible to light. I just loved holding my hot vape in the hand but failed on selecting the type of plant to insert in the vape. Is true that org@sms were different, more intense. And that is the biggest reason I used it, also because of the bigger amounts of food I craved and achieved. Vaping reduced the irritation in the throat but it still irritated. Wiz had one big advantage, but multiple prior disadvantages. God bless I was never caught by police

    People seem to think that when you quit things get better fast it's not true you go through anxiety panic some psychosis sleepless nights things do get better with time. Being out in nature has been the best cure for me. I really like the way you talked about accepting the good and bad times makes sense. This was a really good video love it!.

  • @blanteh6965

    Definitely felt this, we all experience life in different lenses and it’s important to really have our eyes opened on what’s going on. Jesus is the only cure with freeing us and breaking these addictions completely we aren’t meant to battle this ourselves, we just need to rely and put our faith on him and try to have a more surrendering heart day by day. Weeds definitely not only affects you mentally and physically but i feel like spiritually for sure and that’s what we operate on. They’re trying to take control and make evil good and good evil. But Jesus is the truth and none of these habits and strongholds are mightier than the power he has on us with making us free.

    You are young, so plenty of time to do you. I have been smoking almost 55 years, with one break of nearly five years, and you are speaking all the truth I've also found. THANK YOU. This really resonated with me. I still struggle with it and now am an inappropriately stoned grandma who now sees the many ways I wasn't true to myself as far as letting it get to be THE priority. For a LONG time. And you are right on, it's not fulfilling, at some point. I am going to listen to this daily, and give it another shot to just live on my own natural high. :-) Maybe by the time I'm 70 I will be freer.
