@@MrTonys For the audio: Did you install the external mic? Factory mic on the screen is close to useless. I installed my wired mic and placed it in a place close to driver head location. Also for iPhone users, if your phone has voice isolation on/off sometimes it helps for the person on the other side hear clean audio. For the trunk: There is no connection of trunk switch with the aftermarket carplay. I suspect your trunk button lock from glovebox needs to be deactivated. Its hidden in the glovebox. If not this, then maybe test the electric connection first by opening the trunk from inside the car (button near gas tank switch), if it works, then check your key, if it doenst work, there’s electric connection issue to the trunk. Yeah, i'm iphone user and I´m gonna test with voice isolation mode on, thanks a ton for the tip!!! the trunk doesn't open by pressing the inside button, the outside button (near the back plate of the car), I've already activate/deactivate the glove box button a lot of times and nothing!!! When the glove button is activated I can ear the some tic-tac sound whenever I press the inside trunk's button... The car was 3 months in the electric autohop and they didn't manage to fix it... what a nightmare... Thanks anyway Mate, cheers!!

@@mariomoura6467 i can only speak for this head unit and OEM camera works with specific setting. If I had an OEM camera, i would toss it lol the aftermarket cameras are super HD… thank you for watching 🫡

Definitely. Currently, I have set up my amplifier switch to the cooling fan in the head unit. For example, if I turn on or off my amplifier, it turns on the cooling fan on the head unit.

@@buildfixcars cheers dude i just removed my sub and amp from my 2013 mazda 6 so will be grabbing one of these head units and putting the sub in with it :)

Oh yeah, I know what you’re talking about, you just have to connect the OEM audio cable ONLY with the aftermarket screen after removing it from the OEM CD player. If you check out the other installation tutorial on my channel, at the last half, I actually had the same issue and I showed how I fixed it. In case you have already done the same above, then lower your OEM CD player volume to only 50 to 52%.

@@Dxaiver08 ZLINK is the inbuilt app you’ll find for the CarPlay. Regarding audio, you need to check your cables. Usb cables is only to read or access data, not AUX. You can use USB cables for dashcam or flash drive to play audio video. DM me on my instagram if you have any questions

make sure you are connected with Wi-Fi on your device, then you have to go to the factory settings, enter code 8888 then go to SELECT MODEL, then select the following number options, 1- Canbox- select number 14 2 - Cars - select 38: LEXUS 3- models - select 01: Lexus IS 4- select low config 5- logo select default For the reverse camera, connect the yellow female plug and short the camera red wire with the radio POWER Brown wire
