We have two big issues. First, all of us, human beings have a fight against hypocrisy. This is the most dangerous issues when we talk about it. The second, is very simple. We are not against the people about LGBT, or adultery or thief, is about sin, is about their practices. God's word is against all of these practices or attitudes, period! This is the point is very highlighted by Danny Shelton in his sermons. Jesus accepts the people but is totally against the sins, just see what he did for adultery woman, he forgave her but said "go and not commit adultery again", that is the key!

Hope these 3 guys are not really SDA Pastors. If by chance they are... there is the problem with the SDA church and why she has lost her identity. I have watched about half of the conversation. I can understand where Myles is coming from. I also see it as quite obvious that he is a very hard line fundamentalist with little room for nuance. I am surprised that no one challenged him at 1 hour 13 minutes when he said that by SDAs preaching a false gospel they are sending millions of people to hell.

Love your guys show! It has helped me In joining the SDA church. Seriously, if it wasn’t for listening to your conversations of your concerns about some of the fundamentalism and exclusiveness that some people in the church believe in. I come from nondenominational Sunday church background. I have been totally welcomed, and the Adventist worldview has helped shaped my faith. I believe that Adventism is bigger than just the end of times message or specifically every single thing that Ellen White has ever said, like Melissa schiffbauer said in the episode you had with her. Coming from a Sunday convert, the message of God is love and for people to see us acting that out is water for our thirsty souls as humans. Keep up the good work you guys are a blessing.

I remember an SDA school staff going around SDA churches before school starts, promoting the school saying: If you are a baker with your own bakery, but everyday you go and buy bread at another bakery, then theres a problem. Saying, all SDA members should enroll their kids in a SDA schools. HA! The SDA schools in my time, the "bad influence kids" were mostly... wait for it... adventists! So, its so sad and dumb that they are many parents that still think that non sda kids are bad influence and should go to another school. It's about the mission

I am feeling compelled to reply again. I have been out of Adventism now for many years and have no real interest in returning. In listening to this and to the interview with Tim Gillespie I am reminded of the privilege some have in Adventism due to location. There are options and varying views in certain parts of the country. In others, the proclamations made by Ted and others such as Shelton and Batchelor are the Holy Writ and they cannot be challenged.

At around minute 21 in the talk of fear of being deceived, you are describing an obsessive slide into darkness. I would suggest that a psychiatric examination of Ted would find a personality that would explain his beliefs. The church body enables him.

The real reason why you Myles, are an ex-Adventist really stems from a self worship on your part, in the church. You were always trying to present some new understanding of plain scripture at church, always trying to find some hidden meaning, that only you, in your supposedly elevated opinion of yourself, was wise enough to see and could understand, or was able to find. But when those, who are actually well beyond you in learning and understanding, tried to steer you back on course by showing you the real meaning of the verses you were trying to twist, with scripture, because of your self exalted opinion of yourself, you became offended. Eventually everyone was looking at you in the low degree of understanding that you actually possess, rather than this all wise exalted opinion of yourself that only you saw. You convinced yourself that you are right and everyone else is in error, regardless of the evidences stating otherwise. You basically wanted people to fall all overs themselves in a form of worship at how smart you are but instead it was just the opposite. When you spoke in church it was, "here we go again," rather than the, "I can't wait to hear what he has to say," that you wanted. So you became bitter and left the church. Bitter to the point of rather than trying to find out for yourself, what the word of God actually says, you now pour all of your energy into just trying to find verses that you can twist to condemn the SDA church that you so deeply hate. And because of you extreme hate, you've actually convinced yourself of what you say as being true. There's no love of God or your fellow man in any of your videos, no love of truth. The only love is self love and everything else is hate. You criticize, condemn and ACCUSE others who may disagree with you, this is not of God. Don't fool yourself that others can't see it. I as others have done, try to show you truth, both in the church when you were there as well as out but you always try to change the subject, try to steer it away to discuss something else in a vain attempt to unmask your true intentions. A conditioned response. So much so that you only hear what you want to hear. Someone can say one thing, and you ACUSE THEM of saying something else that they never said so you can dole out one of your conditioned responses and try to steer the conversation away from them actually showing the error in your comments. Digging down and working through our differences IS extremely difficult. Coming into accord at Pentecost took more than a weekend retreat and issues have gotten MORE complicated with time, not less. It’s hard, hard work, seeking what they sought, the forebears of our church, both ancient and recent. A church could almost be forgiven for just throwing its hands up in the air and claiming it impossible and “waiting on the Lord in study and prayer”. Almost.
