oh wow you do that too ali hehe i love going through the terms and conditions on the cruise website too and i also read all of the facts and questions on each line im cruising on. it cam take me a few hours. i thought i was the only one to do that hehe

wow is that another new wig ali?? i love it its stunning :) i got a wig off cancer tasmania plus 3 off temu, but i cant wear them as they look so wiggish, really fake. but yours always look so natural and beautiful. can you please advise me of where you purchase them from ? i have very little hair now, ive lost so much of it from the chemo, i did have before i started treatment, hair half way down my back, so very sad that ive lost most of it. ive been wearing these really pretty turbans that i got off temu and ebay, they look really nice, but would rather some pretty hair:)

when was in airlie beach on our quantum of the seas cruise, we booked in with a local company on a bus tour of the town, totally loved it. they drove us in a mini bus, so only about 15 of us on the tour and we saw places with the most stunning views over airlie that the cruise line did not include in there tour and i was able to book 2 of our tickets at concession rate then i got m=y fiance on the tour for only 20 dollars as i hold a companion card to get my carer free or discounted entry to lots and lots of things. so was very happy with the price, the size of the group, the places we went too plus the company owner was lovely :)

i remember back a few months ago watching a video about some people who were on a ship organised shore tour, somewhere overseas and there was some issue with the cable car that they was on and they got back to the ship late and the ship had left without them, even though it was one of there own tours. from memory i think that they was reimbursed for the thousands of dollars they had to spend to get themselves to the next port of call to rejoin the ship, but i was really surprised to hear that the ship left without them

I hope they do keep their P & O crew, especially for the trivia, at least they include more Australian content than did the Luminosa, which I travelled on Nov. Went to one trivia about music, they didn’t read the room at all. Used all American music, yes we knew some of them, but about 40% we didn’t, they never made it over here. Wish they would do their research as to who is onboard, they seemed to take the easy way out and that’s the Entertainment’s Directors fault.

Unfortunately ali although sydney and brisbane might have great cruise terminals and great for people that live in brisbane like yourself or in sydney but its a extra cost for melbournians like myself to fly to sydney and brisbane. So yes it’s not good for melbourne and adelaide people. Hopefully it does change as melbourne and adelaide people love to cruise as well.

Pizza needs to be available later than 4pm. Even kids like to have it later than that. Will all food be available later in the afternoon.? You get back from an onshore experience late afo and can’t get a feed/ afo tea until after 5:30 pm (P&0). Themed night are a pain having to take extra attire when you have to travel by air from other states to get on board. Is the food going to improve on the ex P&O ships, pantry and the three restaurants? IKEA can do a better breakfast than the Pantry can. They need to have larger food portions in the three restaurants if they aren’t going to have a supper available nor the pizza. Excluding some ports as embark/disembark possibilities is making it more cost prohibitive. The sauna and steam room are separate from Byron Beach Club, it’s ridiculous that you buy a steam and sauna pass and can’t take a dip due to the pool being fenced off for the BBC. I wouldn’t consider NZ ice cream should be treated like a specialty restaurant and the same with hotdogs etc. $30 to sit on the front of the ship for 10 seconds. Good grief. I remember the faces of those who did it, that much for that time experience. I would’ve hoped they’d dump the woke Blanc de blank show. I don’t know about being sold out all the time, as I remember the tickets being flogged over the p.a. all the time. I heard all the Sri Lanka workers were going? Put the pizza in the fridge then in your warm box later perhaps.

I have done 5 cruises on P&O and 1 on Princess so far, I have 4 more cruises on P&O to do before the changeover happens and I am Platinum on Princess also I have a big cruise a Circumnavigation around Australia next year on Crown Princess and a 3 day cruise on Discovery Princess and I am going to fit another Princess one in somewhere. I have done a cruise on Luminosa and had a great time I will go on some more for sure just a matter of when. I am going to miss P&O when they go though

G’day guys, thanks for the update, I still have a couple of questions remaining in question. Encounter v Luminosa, self service laundry just about on all levels of the Encounter, good for families and is especially on longer cruises, will this service remain on the Encounter.? Unlike the Laundry service on the Luminosa which attracts a fee for this. Another new cost, the fee for using the APP has been introduced for messaging, why? Smokers, on the Encounter there were three designated ares for smokers, on the Luminosa there Is only one designated area, will the Encounter be the same as the Luninosa.?

We went as a family of 2A 1 Teenager on a 5 day Carnival cruise which at first I was reluctant to book. We had so much fun with the entertainment team we had onboard. There was an 80’s night, a silent white night, a formal night etc and so many other fun days and nights None of which involved a slide.

The arseholes will be dropping the military obc i am entitled to once p &o are taken over by carnival… ill just stick with princess.. and when they go, i wont be cruising any longer… they charge me a fortune to sail as a solo

It doesn’t make good business sense to have 2 x carnival ships departing from both Sydney and Brisbane. One of three things will happen once dust settles from P&O departure: They will keep it as 2 ships in each port (Sydney & Brisbane), move 2 ships to service Adelaide & Fremantle (Melbourne port charges are too excessive), or they will return Splendor & Luminosa back to US & Europe market.

Nathan NEEDS a volume adjustment (He is way too loud as is volumes he allows) We needed to tell the waiters NOT to bring the main 30 seconds after the starter was finished - that kills any relaxed dinning experiance. They were happy to, but said we were locked into 1 hour for our table.

P&O Pacifc Encounter needs to be retried. We cruised in July 2024. Worst cruise ever.

I sent my 19 and 20 yos on a cruise last year because I couldn’t make it due to health reasons. I paid for the cruise they had to pay for everything else. Kids are too entitled these days. I even paid for a friend to go and a girlfriend!

Our 18 year old son went on a cruise with us, and we made him pay for everything, BUT, we did buy a drink or 2 for him 😄

You can whip coconut cream. I've done it for my childrens cakes over the years. But recently there is even a company that sells tins of whipping coconut cream. Dairy free life is getting easier and easier now! 👏

Great video. Thanks for sharing. I’ve done a lot of cruising on Princess, 43, & here’s some things that I’ve learned & I bring for my balcony stateroom. Magnetic hooks & clips for the wall so I can hang any documents or hang items that I need. A small battery clock that I keep in the bathroom. A couple of European adapters A power box that has 2 USB & 2 USB.C Sockets plus 3 US sockets on the top. Because the box has a large plug a small power strip. Plenty of extra charging cables as a back. A suction cup thermometer that attaches to the outside door so that I always know the temperature. A large clock for the desk so. I always know what the time is. I hope that these suggestions will be helpful for other passengers.
