- The P&O 80's theme cruise on the P&O Pacific Encounter have now become pretty much a 'must do' for us as they are so much fun This time we took the girls with us again.
Boarding & embarkation day is always an exciting day and one we really look forward to no matter how many times we've been on the ship.
The 80s cruise still has to be one of the best short cruises there is and we are already looking forward to the next one.
In the making of this video we acknowledge the live music of the Forever 80s band with much gratitude and all the other artists that performed on the cruise including the fabulous Prinnie Stephens. Thank you so much for coming back and for making this such a fantastic cruise once again. You rock!

@@robandalicruisetravel we can’t think that far ahead at this stage, lol. We have potential big international plans around then. We have an 80s cruise from Melbourne in November though and are so excited for that! It looks so much fun. 🤩

Thank you. We love having the girls with us. They are next with us on the Country cruise in November. We have met some lovely people through cruising and are blessed that many of them have become friends.

I can tell that’s forest lake in the background l lived there for 25 years lol. I’ve noticed that this 80’s cruise and the prior one they don’t look as busy ? I was on the 80’s cruise back in April this year and the crowds were huge both embarking and once on the ship. I assume they must sell out though as I couldn’t get on a second 80’s cruise until August next year, good video as always. Tony Torrisi

Love your videos as always. Because of your previous 80s cruise video, I booked an 80s cruise on the Pacific Explorer from Melbourne next year but it got cancelled due to P&O being absorbed by Carnival. I managed to book another 80s cruise on the Pacific Adventure from Sydney using the credit they offered me. It will be interesting to see what will happen to Encounter and Adventure after they sail under the Carnival logo.

Great information with a smile! After stalking your channel for months we have finally bitten the bullet & booked our first cruise on the Luminosa this summer. We will be booking parking at Brisbane Cruise Terminal P2. Do you have any tips on what time to book the parking for arrival & departure? We won't know our boarding time till two weeks prior & I believe parking gets booked out quickly.
Just got off from a back to back on the Pacific Encounter. Had a fantastic time but for having to disembark the ship and made to wait for 2.5 hrs in uncomfortable seats in the transit area. Hope in the future we will be able to stay on as we have been told by terminal staff that carnival keeps their passengers on board.
That's not great Patricia. We are doing B2Bs on the Encounter in December. The first is domestic and the second is international so we'll see what happens then I guess. We have been told that we will have to disembark, which we expected for the immigration process, but that our luggage can stay on board.

we watched forever 80s back a few months ago here in launceston, they were fantastic. ive tried reaching out to them multiple times on fb, messenger and email, to ask them if they was performing on our nov 15th 80s cruise from melb, but they have not replied, so guess i will find out when we get onboard he ship.

Being from melbourne, there's nothing better than flying into Brisbane and seeing your ship from the plane, the cruise party starts there for me.

Brisbane does take a bit of a knock sometimes for the location of the new cruise terminal but we agree, seeing your cruise ship in any port when you fly in really does get you in the mood for your holiday.
Alot of Luggage for 3days???
Yeah, we do not travel light. There were 4 of us though and we didn't need to fly so we weren't restricted by airline limits.
