I just stumbled on this in my feed and have watched this video several times now, and I'm not really quite sure how I want to respond? Lol... I am extremely impressed by the level of musicianship, and the attention to detail being paid to create such a wonderful tribute to Pat Metheny and Lyle Mays and their band and their music. It's a very difficult thing to do because their music is so intricate and nuanced and creative. On the other hand, a cover tribute band of something that has improvisation at its heart, that so exactly details the way the performances work comes across as a little confusing to me? For some reason I would've really loved to see you guys interpret the songs in your own way rather than duplicate the performances of Pat and Lyle? I think it's a wonderful project and an admirable effort to want to do this, but there's a part of me that thinks that the kind of music they created should not be treated as classical music and duplicated or re-performed, but somehow new and re-interpreted in new ways and inventions being created to express what they wrote and performed. Of course I could be entirely wrong and the entire purpose of a tribute band is to sound and look a lot like the original? I admire that the guitar player even has the striped sweatshirts Pat wore for quite a lot of the shows. I wish you success in your endeavors and thank you for the video.

This is damn near textbook, except it's a little too fast paced and the keyboardist is lagging behind some important queues by a fraction of a second. It's like he needs one more arm or something. But overall, very good! Probably one of the best covers I've seen.

"taste" is Pat's AMAZING ability.... Lost on this give credit for trying... the guitar lost the "taste" of Pat
