Unveiling Palpatine's Path to Darkness!
Yes, Skywalker was easily fooled by the Dark Side.
I tend to get annoyed at how easily though
Your first "absolute" (see what I did there?!) for it to be a success would be to keep the whole thing out of the current administrations hands. Hopefully someone will buy out the franchise from them soon and our beloved franchise would stand a chance of being restored. 🤞🏻🙏🏻
I see the word play. 😁. I'm still hopeful that it won't take someone new buying the franchise to fix it. I know some real fans of Starwars exist in the company. Just not sure why it doesn't seem to translate well to film and TV projects 🤔
We need someone younger also some thin and above average height for females. All of these are in their 20's and all should be able to pull off the acting range as well as the physical stuff and all are 5ft 7in or better Elle Fanning Florence Pugh Sophie Belinda Turner Emma-Louise Corrin Lily Chee
@RoadWolf69 You gave me some real contenders here. I truly thought about Florence Pugh when I made the video but passed. I admit I dropped the ball with Sophie Turner. She just wasn't on my radar after Xmen. I gave Emma another thought, she did great in Deadpool... but quick eyeball test. Is she tall enough to play Ventress? Sophie might be my new winner.
Come on... most of them are way too old to play Ventress at the beginning of a franchise and run of movies... actually, the more I watched the worse it got. You just picked every A list actress, not even taking into consideration their physical attributes needed - Ventress is tall lithe and thin... not to mention white.. you have bulky wrestler types... your list hit virtually every WRONG actress without even hitting on one that hits the spot in every area (except age) and thats Cate Blanchette... shes tall, lithe, has the jawline and would look killer bald There... that's how its done!
I knew it was gonna be tough but was my list that bad? I went mix of A list and B list actresses. Popularity and star power is important too. I didn't factor in age because some of these actresses still got the chops despite their birthdays. Who is your top 3 to play Ventress?
Yes it was that bad... you started off great with listing requirements (except pulling off being bald) - then you seem to list every actor you could think of, and basically none of them fit the criteria.... including black, Asian, and muscular! My first pick is ironically Cate Blanchette she is pure class and ticks all the boxes except age.. especially after her Marvel foray. Of yours listed, maybe Gal Gadot as she has height.. possibly Charlize as she has played a bald character and is excellent with action and emotion - ie Hancock. But maybe it would be an open casting call and look for the next up and comer ... or maybe - be daring and make it an AI generated character IF all the traits can be encapsulated.
Open call is not a bad idea. I think the fandom would be highly upset with an AI actor. And problem with new faces for big or fan favored projects is that the new actor most times is never given a fair chance. Accepting the role could ultimately end their acting career. Who's in your top 3 to play Ventress?
how the Foo can you cast Ventress??? i am gonna watch..She is so iconic and really amazing, she is a really develoveped character
zoe is my pick on this list, she is my first pick nut i want to look for someone else
hai;ey berry on chance cube
I knew this one was gonna disappoint some fans. Hesitant to do the vid but I tried to be fair to a lot of actresses and fans.
I think Zoe is a strong pick. Lookin at her acting career she has dressed up & makeup transform to play some good characters.
Ventress is a real favorite of mine. The novel Dark Disciple. She was on point.
Both are the exact same thing.
I tend not to think so. Anakin was gullible and easy prey despite his strength but he was ignorant of Palpatine hidden agendas
one of the key highlights of anakins stupidity was when he choked padme on mustafar he went from liar you brought obi wan to kill me to you will not take her from me to if you aren't with me then your my enemy in the span of one scene. i get anger can blind people but anger doesn't make someone that stupid lol
I agree. Anakin was all over the place. I don't think he was ready to get married either. He needed to develop more first.

Hey. I'm lost. What do you mean?
Great channel! Love Star Wars.
Thank you. I am so glad that you like my channell
It sounds like Padme never really had a chance to just be a kid and she had to grow up pretty darn quickly.
From what I've read she was practically an adult from the time she was a little girl
The loud background noise (sound/music) put me off watching this vid. This interferes with understanding speech. I came here to listen to speech, not to listen to music.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll have to adjust my computer volume
@@starwarsdistrict But why would u do that? I mean why would u add a background noise (even a low lvl noise)? Just so it's more difficult to understand the speech (which is AFAIK the main feature of this vid) and less pleasant to hear? What's the idea behind it?
She no longer reasons to be alive I guess. Plus she was in the way of other powerful people as well.
Lucas gotta explain this more. Padme wanted a family. She had two kids that need her. Plus her mother and father and sister that truly love her. I feel She has reasons to live.
@@starwarsdistrict , I think that regardless of her reasons, others sought to get her out of the way, even in the so-called good guys side.
I think you're right. They just ran out of use with Padme story wise. It's crazy because Padme is very influential and can play big roles in anyone's storyline
We'll never know - it's hidden.
No worries. I have part 2 of this fan theory in the works
That’s Tremendously Awesome! Thank You so much! 🫶🏻🤩❤️✨
Padme was a threat to the Republic , she was dead set to appose a galactic military . She would rather see the people of the galaxy suffer and die in times of danger. She was a truly sick individual .
She has her faults, I can agree. Not sure if I would describe her as sick though 🤔 . Overly idealistic maybe
Darth Sidious Killed Her So He Could Turn Anakin into Darth Vader And Make sure He Never Knew The Truth

Lucas wouldn't write that Yoda killed her. 😔
You probably right but I feel that we also need more than the current explanation for Yoda just staying on Dagobah. His exhile needs more depth in my opinion
Hyperbaric oxygen would have restored her : she didn't have a motive to overcome a restricted throat when exhausted. Machines operate on the basis of being in the normal range, not whether a correction would help, so didn't see her weakness.
I think we are saying the same thing. She was exhausted. Her motive for living was not clear to her.
@@starwarsdistrict I was trying to answer the other side of the equation : why didn't the machines act ? They should have.
@@michaeledwards2251 You got me on that one. I got nothing. Meditate on this, I will. lol
This is extremely interesting. I really haven’t seen anyone discuss her life or death from this perspective. It does make sense though, that she may not know how to handle situations and emotions on her own. I do feel like Bail Organa counts more as a friend than a boss, but I agree he wasn’t really someone Padme probably felt she could confide in like her handmaidens or Anakin. Good luck with your channel :)
@uwuifyingransomware Thanks for the feedback. Bail and even Mon Mothma are more like work buddies in my opinion. Let me know of any other topics that might interest you.
What you are describing is similar to how the Sith used to make their lightsaber crystals before Disney. They made artificial crystals by gathering materials and forging them in a furnace while meditating and focusing the force through them. IIRC, Luke did something similar in Shadows of the Empire, which was set before ROTJ.
@KaijuBiologist Yes, it's similar. I just would like to see what new sabers could be made. New crystals from varying worlds could open the Jedi to new possibilities. The Jedi are too stagnant.
Makes more sense Yoda killed her to preserve the Jedi order
I like that theory a lot, but after reading the Padme Trilogy novels, it shows that Padme was really reliant on her handmaidens. Her slow isolation from them and Padme getting married without them was a major issue. Even the wedding dress she wore in the movie got her into trouble with Sabe. The Sabe aspect of her death might be more valid than anything.
@@starwarsdistrictNo it doesn't. Padmes handmaidens new of her and anikans wedding in the movie and in episode 3 . In the star wars dictionary the handmaidens were their in Padmes apartment in episode 3. They informed Padme when anikan was arriving or there. Captain Panaka also informed the Chancellor of their marriage. Yoda killing Padme makes no sense for his character. It makes sense for him to split the children up to preserve the Jedi order but not to kill Padme. There's a star wars Marvel comic series that has Padmes hand maidens seek revenge on Darth Vader for killing her.
@emperorsean1 I try to blend cannon, movies and novels and my creativity to make my fan fictions. Some contradicting will sadly happen. I do stand by Yoda killing Padme though. Would you give up ya children to the Jedi Order? The guilt made him remain on Dagobah.
Yoda killed her so that he and Kenobi could steal the twins .
@@lordofpain3476 I agree 👍. I took it a step further. His guilt caused him to stay hidden
I have another theory I think Palpatine used Pademe to manipulate Anakin from the time they met. He obviously staged her murder but maybe he knew they would land on Tatooine since he knew Anikan was alive on that planet and he put the thought of her dying in his head to bring him to the dark side
I will definitely admit that Palpatine is very crafty and plans schemes with multiple backups. He could have been thinking of many ways to manipulate Anakin. If not Padme or his mother; Palpatine would have used whatever methods to control the situation that is Anakin.
There are a few things about this movie that I hate: that "explosion" sound right before Dooku says, "I've been looking forward to this"- what is it meant to show? It just seems to be some random sound thrown in for no reason. And how Grevious is a coughing (without ANY explanation in the MOVIES) punk, who runs like a coward from any fight, unlike the bad@ss seen in "Clone Wars"; the little "squeechy" noise that happens after Anakin cuts Dooku's head off; The little "GIT!!!" Palpy says which is totally out of his character; the stupid, chattering "vulture droids"; but, MOST OF ALL, that stupid lightsaber twirling thingy that has no battle pourpose, other then to show our 2 main characters doing some "cool" swirly lightsaber stuff. You may get the idea that I hate the movie from this: I DON'T. But they ARE little details that drive me up the wall.
@toddkurzbard No I get it. You like the movie but have a few grievances. The explosion... if I remember correctly is about the battle of Coruscant. Some tense battles occurred. Yes they had to tone down Grevious. He is a true savage. Palpatine does confuse me at times. But remember he has multiple masks he gotta wear. Some uncharacteristic behavior might happen
I view Anakin as the Force given flesh, both the Jedi and the Sith desire to use it for their own ends pulling it in multiple ways. Anakin is treated similarly he viewed as someone meant to be used by them more then anything else. He also reflects the state of the galaxy, by the time he is Vader he is more machine then man, similar how the Empire is always portrayed with it's big machines of war. Vader is the coffin of Anakin Skywalker.
@@ajdinimsirovic2757 I love this point of view. A reflection of the galaxy. Is it ok if I use that line in a video?
@@starwarsdistrict I wouldn't mind.
@@ajdinimsirovic2757 Excellent.
No I'm sorry I don't buy any of that kylo Ren did not have enough time to train Ray about anything Give me a break Ray's gifted from somewhere or something we have not been shown or told of yet but her source is from within not from with-0ut! What the hell did Leia teach Rey Give me a break! I hope you don't take my disagreement as a criticism as much as a different point of view but in truth until I see more of this next trilogy No one in the pre-existence or during the time they knew Rey had enough time to teach her anything As much as we would like to believe that somehow through osmosis she got a crash course on the mastery of the Force and never any of the dark side rubbing off on her through kylo or snoke!
@ericsahagun5344 Feel free to speak your mind. I encourage respectful dialogue. Kylo didn't directly teach her. They mind link several times during the trilogy of movies. I feel Rey was able to gain valuable insight from Kylo. Plus, she did have bot Luke and Leia instructing her. But that mind link was the key to her rapid understanding of force concepts. She may also been naturally talented too
May be controversial but EPISODE 3 is my favorite star wars movie
Nothing controversial at all. Episode 3 is an excellent film in my book.
@starwarsdistrict I know a lot of people stick with the original trilogy, but I really enjoyed the story and complexity of Anakin
@DidyouKnowWondersandWhy No arguments from me. I mean, in Episode 3, we got to see Anakin became Vader. Plus, that great lightsbaer battle on Mustafar
Also Rey Skywalker when she makes her movie. I just know she's going to be able to have many help. Help from Force ghost Anakin Skywalker at his full potential as the chosen one. / the god of the force and many more other ones Yep, her movie is coming. It might be delayed, but it's going to come. This next year or the year after that, okay. And those of you who don't appreciate her movie just know the actress really wants to make an impression and really wants to make a difference. Okay? the sequels
@YayoHernandez-b1j I look forward to seeing her next project. Hopefully Daisy returns to Star Wars sooner rather than later.

@daveesmond1634 I think She still has some good points about her too though. As far as the lack of training goes. Let me know if you've seen my video about her. I addressed her training.
@@starwarsdistrict look, I love the sequels I do and I want to see her new Jedi order flourish because times change things change some of us don’t like it but we have to get used to it
Star Wars District, I have a thought and opinion. if Anakin Skywalker never turn to the dark side and reached his full potential at the chosen one. He would have become the most powerful strongest fastest and smartest character ever of all time in the history of Star Wars surpassing and being above the force priestesses the mortise gods including abeloth as well as every and all characters in all of Star Wars. Because he was born of the force itself. Becoming the prophesied chosen one destined to bring balance to the forest. That was his Destiny. No questions asked.
@YayoHernandez-b1j Hey Yayo. Thanks for watching. You're correct Anakin is strong. I try to mix cannon and my own twist on Starwars. I have a part 2 that seems like you're gonna like. I wanna see if part 1 does well. Let me know what other topics you like.
I think he’s replaced the father
@@demonkittyspet Now that should be a Disney+ series
The most people forgot, to be in the story, that Rey has grown up in a hostile environment on this desert planet, from orphan to a young woman. She has had to fight thenceforth, to survive, since her parents was gone. Luke instead grown up well protected, as a farmer. No fights, up to shooting the banta rats from his glider. He had must to become a warrior. Rey was long ago a skilled worrior, life long trained, since her her childhood, through her gifted bloodline and because of the experiences on the desert plaet. She has survived the hostile environment there, on this desert planet, think about that. She wasn't beamed there suddenly in. And after that all, than she recognized who she really is and discovered the force. So she simply is only a newbie to the force, she has had to ad the use of force to her skills, but very talented through her bloodline. And through her strong blood line, she was gifted, too. Luke, from a strong blood line too, but instead, has had to learn all from the beginning. To be a worrior, to use the force, develope a strong will, and so on. She didn't. So in this context of the story, it fits for me really well.
That is a great point. Rey definitely had to be assertive while living on Jakku.

Sadly... as a nearly life long Star Wars Fan ( Saw Ep 6 in theaters in '83 at age 4 )... I cannot deny the logic of your hypothesis... And, now in my old age and crippled by the discouragement caused by my fellow humans in the last half decade or so... I fear you may indeed be correct...
WOW!! You saw it on the first release. I'm jealous. Thanks for even listening to my theories then. Sadly we do have to do better as humans. Where's the love?
@@starwarsdistrict my pleasure
love it. yoda blew it. way overrated
Yoda has so much potential but he limited too
He stayed because it was the only place where the nexus could hide him! He didn't want to train luke. Obi wan brow beat him to do it!
True. The force nexus was a big part but his decision to stay inactive begs for more explanation. Yoda is the Grand Master of the Jedi. He took one beating and hid the rest of his life. Simply need more than the current cannon explanation.
You bring up great points! I remembered seeing quite a while ago seeing something about Padme having a extremely high midiclorian count when she was pregnant! Then i started looking for what George's answer was for Padme's death and itnwas duringna conversation with the script writer. He said something about Padme giving up because of a broken heart! George said it's more than that, about being crushed by the thing you try to hold on to the hardest! So then I got to thinking about yoda having a part in her death! So I think yoda very well have been able to save her but chose not to! If she was crushed because she could see Anakin really was no longer himself, no longer willing to leave everything behind for her and their child, wanting things to be the dictatorship they spoke about in aotc, added to the fact of the chocking, and then the heart muscle weakness then of course the robot wouldn't understand! So, I do believe you are right, I think yoda would have been able to sense the high midiclorian of the twins and when told she was dying knew they would leave her during the birth of the babies, just let it happen! I'm sorry,I know this is long and rambling, but I loved your video and wanted to come after i went back through and read the stuff!

@christinestevenson4304 Padme Fatal Flaw Explained
Yoda definitely killed her.
She had to go lol
No one has even considered the chance that she could have died for a mix of circumstances like the fact that she was phisically and mentally weak? She had to face a twin birth after almost dying from strangulation, he could also have very well lost the will to live...
You are right. I try to mix fact, fiction and lore to make an interesting fan theory. But for one video I can't mix too many theories together all at once. Complications with pregnancies and childbirth is very real. I have about five more sub theories about this topic. Gotta release them into a playlist in the coming future. Stay tuned.
Interesting idea, but I think it is more likely that Sidius drew her life force to keep Anakin alive as he was undergoing the prosthetic surgery.
I like this idea. Its plausible.
Whit the death of his Mother anakin will grow attached to Padme. And he needed a Female figure in his life.
I think it's more realistic that sidious drained her life to restore anakin but what do I know 🤔
It's possible that Sidious drained Padme. I'm not an expert. Just a fan. You're POV is valid on my channel too. I have a few other wild theories coming. Stay tuned.
I thought the duel on the wreckage of the Death Star was freaking legendary. People shit on these movies - and rightly so, mostly - but this duel is among my favorites.
I kept thinking “someone’s arm is coming off!”
The fight choreography is terrible in these films.
I'm not gonna sugar coat it... yes it is a bit stiff in the movements.
There were some big scenes in the trilogy. Excellent visuals but sub-par in other aspects.
What are your thoughts on the Skeleton Crew?
Is this all actually in the lore? I just wanna double check before I add it in my Jedi Archives Playlist
No. NOt 100%. I take the lore and mix in my own thoughts and conclusions.
Very interesting theory. I just can't imagine Yoda doing that though. I have always believed it was Palpatine who killed Padme and drained her life force. Palpatine did it to continue to manipulate Vader and to use Vader's grief and frustration to fuel Vader's power and connection to the dark side. I also believe he wanted to have Vader's full loyalty to himself not to Padme who frequently disagreed with him politically. Your theory does give a better reason for Yoda to stay on Dagobah, but it just doesn't seem consistent with Yoda's character. He was far to disciplined to give in no matter how desperate he felt in any given moment.
Admittedly, yes some parts were a stretch about Yoda. I still believe that Yoda has never truly been tested in a very long time. Yes he is disciplined and a veteran master but keep in mind for generations no Jedi was stronger than him, he ran the high council for years (no body really ever voted against him), I believe only one Jedi as ever beat him in a sparring match and he has tons of force powers/abilities. It is possible in my mind that when he finally came across a challenge (Sidious) in a 1 vs 1 battle and he realized that he could not win; plus his loss meant the Jedi were demolished completely. Everyone has a breaking point. He did something dark (Kill Padme) and then he realized it was not the way. Thus regret and isolation.
@@starwarsdistrict Possible, sure I'll concede that, but it still seems more likely that Palpatine did it to both empower and manipulate Vader. I believe I read somewhere that Vader came to this conclusion as well. However, the one thing that does support your theory is that it better explains why Yoda would stay on Dagobah for so long. Especially for that reason, your theory cannot simply be rejected. Besides, it is fun to speculate about.
@@davidbrandt848 Palpatine is a tricky individual. He does have the ability to choke someone from like half the galaxy away. It is definitely fun to speculate too. I got some more material in the works. Please keep watching.
no way. Anakin broke her heart and that is why she died. If Yoda had killed her then he would have trained Luke and Leia from day one.
She may have been sad and hurt over Anakin but she was aware that she was giving birth. In reading novels surrounding Padme it was clear that she wanted her own family. Padme came from a loving and supportive family. She did alot of work for others her entire career (as Queen and Senator) but deep down she wanted a family. I strongly believe she would not kill her self when she was about to have her kids.
@@starwarsdistrict George Lucas said she died of a broken heart.

It was a fun theory. No?
I’ve never even considered this is some very interesting insight and facts and it definitely follows why Yoda stayed on Degobah …. And it’s a very strong reason for Yoayo to want Padmé gone as she could’ve posed a threat and that she said Yoda was desperate.. Nice work 👍
Glad you like it. Thanks for watching
