I tend to get annoyed at how easily though

I see the word play. 😁. I'm still hopeful that it won't take someone new buying the franchise to fix it. I know some real fans of Starwars exist in the company. Just not sure why it doesn't seem to translate well to film and TV projects 🤔

@RoadWolf69 You gave me some real contenders here. I truly thought about Florence Pugh when I made the video but passed. I admit I dropped the ball with Sophie Turner. She just wasn't on my radar after Xmen. I gave Emma another thought, she did great in Deadpool... but quick eyeball test. Is she tall enough to play Ventress? Sophie might be my new winner.

I knew it was gonna be tough but was my list that bad? I went mix of A list and B list actresses. Popularity and star power is important too. I didn't factor in age because some of these actresses still got the chops despite their birthdays. Who is your top 3 to play Ventress?

Yes it was that bad... you started off great with listing requirements (except pulling off being bald) - then you seem to list every actor you could think of, and basically none of them fit the criteria.... including black, Asian, and muscular! My first pick is ironically Cate Blanchette she is pure class and ticks all the boxes except age.. especially after her Marvel foray. Of yours listed, maybe Gal Gadot as she has height.. possibly Charlize as she has played a bald character and is excellent with action and emotion - ie Hancock. But maybe it would be an open casting call and look for the next up and comer ... or maybe - be daring and make it an AI generated character IF all the traits can be encapsulated.

Open call is not a bad idea. I think the fandom would be highly upset with an AI actor. And problem with new faces for big or fan favored projects is that the new actor most times is never given a fair chance. Accepting the role could ultimately end their acting career. Who's in your top 3 to play Ventress?

I think Zoe is a strong pick. Lookin at her acting career she has dressed up & makeup transform to play some good characters.

Ventress is a real favorite of mine. The novel Dark Disciple. She was on point.

Lucas gotta explain this more. Padme wanted a family. She had two kids that need her. Plus her mother and father and sister that truly love her. I feel She has reasons to live.

@KaijuBiologist Yes, it's similar. I just would like to see what new sabers could be made. New crystals from varying worlds could open the Jedi to new possibilities. The Jedi are too stagnant.

I like that theory a lot, but after reading the Padme Trilogy novels, it shows that Padme was really reliant on her handmaidens. Her slow isolation from them and Padme getting married without them was a major issue. Even the wedding dress she wore in the movie got her into trouble with Sabe. The Sabe aspect of her death might be more valid than anything.

​​​​@@starwarsdistrictNo it doesn't. Padmes handmaidens new of her and anikans wedding in the movie and in episode 3 . In the star wars dictionary the handmaidens were their in Padmes apartment in episode 3. They informed Padme when anikan was arriving or there. Captain Panaka also informed the Chancellor of their marriage. Yoda killing Padme makes no sense for his character. It makes sense for him to split the children up to preserve the Jedi order but not to kill Padme. There's a star wars Marvel comic series that has Padmes hand maidens seek revenge on Darth Vader for killing her.

Yoda killed her so that he and Kenobi could steal the twins .

I will definitely admit that Palpatine is very crafty and plans schemes with multiple backups. He could have been thinking of many ways to manipulate Anakin. If not Padme or his mother; Palpatine would have used whatever methods to control the situation that is Anakin.

@toddkurzbard No I get it. You like the movie but have a few grievances. The explosion... if I remember correctly is about the battle of Coruscant. Some tense battles occurred. Yes they had to tone down Grevious. He is a true savage. Palpatine does confuse me at times. But remember he has multiple masks he gotta wear. Some uncharacteristic behavior might happen

I feel Rey was able to gain valuable insight from Kylo. Plus, she did have bot Luke and Leia instructing her. But that mind link was the key to her rapid understanding of force concepts. She may also been naturally talented too

Nothing controversial at all. Episode 3 is an excellent film in my book.

True. The force nexus was a big part but his decision to stay inactive begs for more explanation. Yoda is the Grand Master of the Jedi. He took one beating and hid the rest of his life. Simply need more than the current cannon explanation.

You bring up great points! I remembered seeing quite a while ago seeing something about Padme having a extremely high midiclorian count when she was pregnant! Then i started looking for what George's answer was for Padme's death and itnwas duringna conversation with the script writer. He said something about Padme giving up because of a broken heart! George said it's more than that, about being crushed by the thing you try to hold on to the hardest! So then I got to thinking about yoda having a part in her death! So I think yoda very well have been able to save her but chose not to! If she was crushed because she could see Anakin really was no longer himself, no longer willing to leave everything behind for her and their child, wanting things to be the dictatorship they spoke about in aotc, added to the fact of the chocking, and then the heart muscle weakness then of course the robot wouldn't understand! So, I do believe you are right, I think yoda would have been able to sense the high midiclorian of the twins and when told she was dying knew they would leave her during the birth of the babies, just let it happen! You are right. I try to mix fact, fiction and lore to make an interesting fan theory. But for one video I can't mix too many theories together all at once. No. NOt 100%. I take the lore and mix in my own thoughts and conclusions.

Admittedly, yes some parts were a stretch about Yoda. I still believe that Yoda has never truly been tested in a very long time. Yes he is disciplined and a veteran master but keep in mind for generations no Jedi was stronger than him, he ran the high council for years (no body really ever voted against him), I believe only one Jedi as ever beat him in a sparring match and he has tons of force powers/abilities. It is possible in my mind that when he finally came across a challenge (Sidious) in a 1 vs 1 battle and he realized that he could not win; plus his loss meant the Jedi were demolished completely. Everyone has a breaking point. He did something dark (Kill Padme) and then he realized it was not the way. Thus regret and isolation.

@@starwarsdistrict Possible, sure I'll concede that, but it still seems more likely that Palpatine did it to both empower and manipulate Vader. I believe I read somewhere that Vader came to this conclusion as well. However, the one thing that does support your theory is that it better explains why Yoda would stay on Dagobah for so long. Especially for that reason, your theory cannot simply be rejected. Besides, it is fun to speculate about.

@@davidbrandt848 Palpatine is a tricky individual. He does have the ability to choke someone from like half the galaxy away. It is definitely fun to speculate too. I got some more material in the works. Please keep watching.

She may have been sad and hurt over Anakin but she was aware that she was giving birth. In reading novels surrounding Padme it was clear that she wanted her own family. Padme came from a loving and supportive family. She did alot of work for others her entire career (as Queen and Senator) but deep down she wanted a family. I strongly believe she would not kill her self when she was about to have her kids.
