I live in Virginia. Grew up listening to the Statler Brothers on a cassette tape each night in my room. Still listening to them all these years later. Wish I could meet Don and the other surviving members one day. Easy ride for me out their way. Wouldn't that be cool to bump into Don and the others?

When I was in grade school we had a class that was put up by CIVIL DEFENSE. This terrible tragedy brought that to mind. We were small but working together we accomplished more than we knew.

I found them by accident and they have blessed my life. Thank you Jesus for your help.

I cannot even tell you how much I love The Statlers. I don't even know how many times I was blessed to see you in Calgary at the Jubilee, but it was magical. I still play your music and so does my mom. Much love to you!

I’ve always loved the Harmony of the Statlers , still do. I’m 58 and they were my favorite since I was 10. My Grandma bought me my first Statler album. My first concert ever was them also. So I am a huge fan and always will be. ❤

The Statler brothers and Wilson Fairchild have voices that are truly gifts from God for us all to hear. Losing Harold is an incredible loss, but with videos like this help keep his memory alive. Thank you one and all.

Interesting interview with one of the greats---Don Reid. Perhaps Ron (interviewer,) needs to talk less and let Don be the star.

My wife and I were introduced to The Statler Brothers in 1973 and remained faithful to their Farewell Concert. The one question that I have had for a long time is when did they ever have time for family? With performing on the road and rehearsing and writing while at home, I don't know when they would ever have time for family.

Hearing these stories fills me with such gratitude for all of the lives and songs of the Statler Brothers. Thank you so much.

I loved your comment of Virginia. As a 75 year Virginian I love my state. From Tidewater to Augusta County to Staunton to Goochland and now Bland, Virginia. I've move many times but always in Virginia.

Loved this group. My parents listened to them when I was a child in the 70's. Now, I have one of their albums, yes albums. I spent many hours in my childhood in my room listening to records and the Statlers were part of my collection.
