@@D1ofAquavibe no problem at all. Are you buying one?
@ leaning towards doing so. I have the Spark 40 but actually thinking to get the Cab to pair with my Fractal FM9
hi, i totally discover this product concept i wanted to buy a Orange floor amp and 4 pedals (rev, delay, tremolo, phaser) but how to amplify it ? power amp + traditionnal guitar cab 1x12" and if i understand, i could build my sound on the pedalboard (effect loop) and plug it directly in an amplified cab like the spark cab ? possible to plug an acoustic guitar too and switch ?
@@laurentmeiller5171 spark can needs a line level signal, so needs to have some kind of signal amplification to it to get to line level to get the full effect and volume I believe. I don't think all guitar pedals can do this, very few. You need some kind of line level output to go into the cab.
Something is wrong with my stock pickups. I have compared them to my other guitars with humbuckers and the EVH is muddy on the neck and bridge lacks in gain. With the amount of money that I spent on this new guitar it should have a better sound. Any suggestions to make it sound better?
What's better for a bedroom amp this or the Orange Crush 35RT? Is the 35RT too loud?
@@Jaimie-C the 20 can get very loud and would be good for bedroom. 35 sounds better because it has a larger speaker diameter and better low frequency response for it. I'd go with the 35 personally
Steve is the best in calgary. Super nice and very knowledgeable .he set up my Navigator and it plays amazing
People have said the strings are too high. Did you have any issue with this one?
@@Zestypanda no. It was great. You can always get this adjusted by a guitar tech or go with lighter gauge strings
6 or 7 hundred for a refret?
@@TeleCaster66 Canadian dollars. Quite typical to me. lots of work involved if done correctly and the time is taken to do things right
Nothing to see, sound like a guys telling what he has seen on UA-cam, but saying he has done it better ...,..no evidence, no vids, no pictures. Waist of time
@@timothyfles-v8g sorry that it didn't tell you the whole story. Thanks for the feedback. Steve is very renowned and respected repair person in Calgary. He also helped setup my first guitar and did wonders.
I bet you’re real fun at parties 😂
@thefirmhandshake haha
It's not easy to produce videos. I also wish there were visuals, but producing that kind of video would have taken the creator over 10x the time than it took to produce this video. Some people just don't have the time and resources to make edited videos and they just have to publish what they can.
@GuitarQuackery this took about 6 hours to film with setup and doing the footage of Steve at the start of the new frets. Steve has so much attention to detail when working on guitars. Great to witness. Doing more than this to do more practical videos would have increased the shooting time substantially which is less of a concern for me but more that Steve's time is precious and there's only so much time we can give to these as part of the process. I wanted to make this more about Steve's story and celebrate him as a key part of Calgary's music scene rather than it being a video purely on repairing guitars and how to do it. It's hard to strike a balance of both. In the future I will try get more education content in such videos. I appreciate the constructive feedback on the videos. If I can tailor the content more to my audience then great. But also, I do make content for my own enjoyment and just the conversation with Steve alone was tremendously interesting anyway. Thanks for recognizing the effort involved in producing these videos, which is a few days including everything in post. Regardless l, thank you to all who have come to watch Steve talk and have got something from his tales.
The best in Calgary! 🎸 🇨🇦
@@LeoM-zt3pl thanks for watching

I just ordered one of these im going to run it with the OG Spark 40 I got in 2021.. I've been watching videos and what not looking for any problems i should be keeping an eye out for...?
Do you know if they fixed the obnoxious hum noise that was repeatedly reported a year ago?
@@soundslikefreemusic9102 I didn't hear any hum when tested it.

@@Sappyloungeact I would think so. May need some rubbing alcohol to full get rid of it
Played through an RK100 half stack once and immediately loved it. Always regret not buying that amp. Bought a Roadhouse later and was so disappointed lol. EL84 mush..not very much gain...not the tone I heard in my head lol.
@@mhoff7722 I've heard that about RK. Found your comment about the Roadhouse very funny haha. Thanks for watching!!
@@FretSuccess Interesting stories here and great interview! Don't get me wrong, Cornfords are great amps of course, I just picked the wrong one. The RH just wasn't for me...then sadly they went out of biz.
Cab has a lot of bass with original spark. Spark 2 seems to be better. For the cost spark delivers a lot of great fun!

just ordered one of these! i’ve seen a few people say that they find it quite bass heavy - did you adjust your helix to accommodate or was it fine out the box?
@@alexbrown2160 it sounded awesome out of the box. Now tweaking of the Kemper at all in the demo. It surprised me

These are half the price of a fender strat, but are they as good in your opinion? I know I like the look of this guitar more, just necer tried one
@@BibleTriviaQuiz_app they are completely different sounding guitars. It depends what you want. Both play great. I have never been a strat person as they only have one type of sound really, they do it really well. If you want more versatility then go for this. If you want a Strat then get a Strat.
Thank you for the video mate! I have one question, does it come with an output jack?
@@not.Waieos it doesn't. It's completely acoustic only. This is too low of a budget to be electroacoustic. You could always install one.

just from the specs... Ibanez..solid top vs epi's laminated. Ibanez ebony on the fretbrd...Only the trademark Gotoh tuners give an edge to epi. Look. No flames or quilt on epi. No tourtoise. Sound.. subjective, but to me also Ibanez. I have ordered an Ibanez.
