The Impossible Inlay
Finally my most asked question will be answered. "How do you do that?"
In a technique I call 'weaving wood' that I've been doing for a handful of years now, I always am asked the question on how I'm able to make such crazy/intricate designs. So finally I made an quick, yet in-depth tutorial on the process behind the weave. Hope you all enjoy!
Special shout out to @BlacktailStudio and @BlackForestWoodCo for turning me onto osmo products. @StoneCoatCountertops and @AlumiliteCorporation for getting me into working with resin and the different ways to handle it.
knife makers need to check out @AVmake and @RedBeardOps for some sweet knife action!
If you're not into small stuff like this I also have videos on tons of other projects from wood working to home renovations. Just starting my journey out so if I can't fill the ticket then head over to @Iliketomakestuff @modustrial @AprilWilkerson @Foureyes.Furniture @John_Malecki @BevelishCreations @Bourbonmoth @MrBuildit for some amazing content! Thanks for being an inspiration to all of these creators!!

In todays episode we will be doing a different take on the normal river pour coffee table. This table has been an idea of mine for a couple years now inspired by the small scale woodworking that I do. This is Version 1 of hopefully a few different styles. Leave me your feedback in the comments. Do you like it? Would you have changed anything about it? Do you think it will stand up to time? If y...

Makita track saw unboxing and the ultimate storage upgrade
Переглядів 4,4 тис.3 роки тому
In this weeks episode we get to unbox our new Makita track saw. I've had a circular saw guide for a year or so now and it served its purpose in the beginning however it is unreliable and I needed something more accurate. I chose the Makita track saw over some of the others (festool was out of my price range). I used my Shapeoko Cnc to carve out some hooks and an end cap for the tracks to be mou...

On todays episode we will be rebuilding a new indoor dust studio with dust collection, a soundproof air compressor, and tons of new storage. For creators just starting out, this tends a healthier approach to learning. Instead of getting burned out or overwhelme...

Any ceiling mold and/or condensation? Usually attic vent chutes run the length of the ceiling to the ridge vent to prevent moisture. Only ask since you ran HVAC which will warm the ceiling while the roof is cold. Nice work.

Drum sanders don’t have snipe unless you are dealing with longer stock, I was referring to a wider board, but I guess it’s all relative unless you get runout on the wider stock.

Wondering if you confirmed that the collar ties, cross boards that the ceiling boards were nailed up to, were structural. Normally those are what prevents the walls from pushing outward with a load on the roof.

What a beautiful shop, Man! The envy of every guy in the world. Well, almost every guy. I’d do anything to be able to make that work table. I’m actually seriously considering the Shop Fox W1837 table saw. I started out looking a “contractors” saws and quickly realized that you get what you pay for. I’m assuming the Shop Fox has worked out well for you? Is it true that the stock fence is not the best? I wished I had just an inkling of your skills. Fantastic job! Thanks for sharing!

Well thanks man! I'm very proud of the space I've made for myself in this small space. The table is a beast and I use it everyday(the push to open drawers can be a pain in the butt sometimes but I still love it) The shop fox is a good entery level cabinet/hybrid saw that I would recommend to a beginner who isn't made out of money. That being said, I'm starting to out grow it (precession wise). My fence has done me well thus far!!

@@InTheGrainCreations Thank you so much for taking the time to give me some insight on the Shop Fox! I retired a year ago and am wanting to start working more with tools. I only have limited room until we move. If I may ask, what table saw have you considered moving up to? Gosh, I thought the Shop Fox was head and shoulders above these saws you see on the flimsily looking stands, which I do not want. I still haven’t figured out what an actual “hybrid” table saw is. I’ve seen some videos, but the motor being inside as opposed to outside and a couple of other things, seems more like a design technique to me than anything else. I promise I won’t bug you anymore!
