Joying 10.1 microphone problem solved.
Переглядів 70810 місяців тому
I found that the microphone port for the external microphone is metal and it comes in contact with the head unit housing. i pulled the back cover off the head unit and put some heat shrink around the mic port and reassembled the head unit. i now have a clear microphone and people can hear me clearly.

Cheers mate brought same kit and installed
I plugged in an external mic, and it's working, but the internal one's still on. How can I turn it off? Please help 🙏 Same brand joying
👍👍👍
This is sick what does it cost
Hi mate, I have this issue too, did you test it first with the supplied microphone to see if the heat shrink fixed the problem or the new microphone fixed the problem? Thanks
Following up, I just took the back off, opened up the hole with an 8mm drill bit and vacuum in place, did the heat shrink trick and plugged the supplied mic back in and it has solved the problem. I did have to pull the front off to reattach a metal plate that I guess helps act as a heat sink to one of the components. Thank you for your fault finding and very helpful video!
@@jamespatterson4141 I'm glad I could help. I never tried the original mic as I broke it in a rage. I could never understand why it was playing up lol. But when I found the problem I knew straight away that this was why.
What are the dimensions?

Thanks 🙏
Slide hammer to remove bearings and leave it intact, then drill and tap it, faster and easier 😊😊😊
Excellent!
Mine lasted around 700 -800hrs before I had to replace them on my kubota
Reds clears on front
we dont say "chinese garbage" but just "made in china" !
I have a radio (SKU: JY-HQ123N4G) JOYING Android 10.0 and I have a problem with the mic when I talk on the phone, it sounds low. Could you tell me how to get to the mic setting and be able to upload it more. I also tried with the external mic and still the same... thanks
Yeah I've got the same issue with mine one, it's a little fustrating that there is no setting (At least my version) in the software to increase the gain/sensitivity. It looks as though Joying released a newer version (Maybe just a software update) it would be interesting if that has the same issues.

Make sure its not rigid... There needs to be movement and a bit of flex. Remember that your taking from the high and distributing it into the valleys.
congratulations on the v8, discontinued now.
@@deceptikhon thanks mate. Seems they will be a bit of a unicorn now.
The Toyota hitch has a anti rattle bolt underneath so you shouldn't have any problem with the pin
@@kisbushcraftdownunder That makes sense. Though the anti rattle bolt is only for when not towing. It's supposed to be loose when a trailer is attached.
How long did you wait for yours to arrive?
Call it 2 years. I'm definitely happy with it.
@@mics106buildandfix bloody hell. I’ve been waiting since June 2022 and also in NSW
Crap. I just rebuilt 2 of these yesterday and I wish I had seen this video first. I would have definitely done your zirc mod. Sealed bearings are designed obsolesense. They shortly run dry and fail. I have only 260 hours on my Z-421 and the center spindle bearing failed fully with the right side just barely showing early signs of failure so I did them both. The left side was fine. No play or noise on hand spinning it. Good mod. In the future, I'll do this. The only thing I can see it could do is dislodge the grease/dirt shield you left on the outside of the bearing but if you are careful to not over grease, it should be fine. Like you say, the grease will with use, find a way out. Adding back a pump or two at blade sharpening and deck clean out should give the bearings a much longer life. So, it's been 2 years. How did it work out? Tip for others out there in UA-cam land... to check your spindle bearings, lift the front of your machine how ever you do that, release the belt from one blade pulley so the belt tension is off the system. Go under, grab the tip of each of the blades and wiggle up and down. There should be zero play or movement. It should spin freely and easy with no noise. If you can wiggle it up and down, or they bind and or make any noise, your bearings are failing. There is another Kobota zero turn video on UA-cam, and his center spindle bearings failed at 160 hours. So apparently, this is an issue. Like I say mine, failed at 260 hours. So get ready. Also unless you have been running failed bearings, you won't need the spacer or shaft they will try to sell you. Just the bearings. Obviously, take yours apart first to assess your needs before ordering. My housings, spacers and shafts were all fine. If you are into factory torques... Blade bolt- 85 foot pounds. Spindle pulley nut- 120 foot pounds, the 4 spindle to deck nuts- 60 foot pounds, all per the Kobota service manual. Enjoy!
Clever idea.
This is the best way over hiring scaffoldings. Well done mate!
Something like that would be perfect for digging tunnels in the backyard
By drilling a small "weep hole" on the other side of your spindle you'll be able to tell when you have pumped enough grease into the spindle and avoid over-filling with grease.
See now that's a good idea.
What a top idea, looks good 👍
been fighting one on my 135.....I debated this last night so glad I know it works now.
Bloody brilliant and if the client doesn’t like it, the client is an idiot!😂 Honestly the mock up looks amazing. Using galvanized steel is a bit overkill because the first deep scratch into the paint will cause corrosion regardless. Love the work and absolutely stunning!
Looks unreal!!
Looking good🙌
i have watched countless spindle videos .and there seems to be a coulpe diffrent camps of thought.if you take a sealed bearing apart the bearings are in a cage and the cage and bearings spin together. some say if you pack them full it couses more friction and makes them over heat.whitch makes sense.they say only use about 25 percent of capacity of the bearing take the factory grease out and use high temp good quality grease. i dont know zerk or no zerk .
I've put 60 hours on my mower since I did it and so far so good. I put 3-4 pumps of grease every 10 hours or so.
Nice video mate! Just wondering if you had any dramas getting the kit? Did it take long to arrive?
Na mate got it 3 days after ordering it. Just get the premium kit that way it wires into the indicators
how much did you pay
9k
@@mics106buildandfix how much is that uk pounds
Good job.. I have done the same… what is the brand of your drill press vise..I like that
That's a good question. I have no idea. Got it at a garage sale.
Hey mate I’ve noticed in the comments you’ve said you’ve bought a module to make the indicators flash? I’ve got the same kit installed and want to do the same if you could point me in the right direction? Cheers for the video too it helped heaps 👍🏻👍🏻
Sure mate. I'll be uploading a vid soon
Thanks for the simple fix. Good troubleshooting!
Excellent, but I think this one's smaller 😂 : ua-cam.com/users/shortsb4HqeW8_X7I?si=DX5qS6A0p_o95w2r
What a cute machine. When you need to dig inside a basement it will fit thru the doorway. And you can pick it up and put it in the back of your car 🙂
Thats a cool spoon with an engine!
Shovel* stop hating!
How much did you pay for it?
9k australian dollars.
@@mics106buildandfix LOL. Ridiculous price.
@@TemplarX2 OUCH, ya, not quite sure it's worth 9grand. For half that money, you can get a chinese mini ex that will have more balls than this thing. You are paying for the size. With the PC01, you can chuck it down a hole and pull it back out when done. Can't do that with a mini ex.
Great video. Are u planning to do electric windows ?. Ive seen a guy in Melbourne sell single cab door cards ect but no dual cab options. Waiting / trying to work out the best way
Thanks. At this point no. It wouldn't be hard to do though. I'm going to make an update video I'm wiring it so the blinkers flash when I lock it.
Red Loctite 271 in a grease fitting 24 hr. cure Pre grease prior to install and grease every season. Caution new mower spindle assemblies! DO NOT install mower spindle without a new drilled tapped red loctite in a grease fitting installed. Nice On of the best UA-cam videos out there Thx
and yes If possible vacuum out the drilling and tap metal debris but Those soft metal debris are nothing to a ungreased tons of water tons of dirt tons of wood tons of grass debris that a non-grease fitted mower spindle assembly would see. so ITS NBD

My Kubota K008-3 weighs in at 997kilos! That thing is a lot smaller. What a cool little rig. I had looked for a small one like that, but never found one of those in the US.
Where did you buy that and how much
they go online used for 10-15k US dollars
Any update on it? Are they worth the money?
In short. No not worth the money. Saying that it beats digging by hand. I'm using it to do shallow irrigation trenches. As the machine is light it doesn't mess up the lawn.
I could be wrong, but when you were digging, isnt the extended foot supposed to be in the back and not in the front?
You can do it either way, But it's better in the front.
Without any outriggers you need that that to hold it inplace
love the actual work. the audio sounds like getting a root canal. maybe some music over the metal grinding.
Thanks for the tip.
Nice!
Good video mate, going to do this to my workmate, I think your wrong about getting a gxl, was recently offered a gxl 2023 facelift v8 by a dealer and I’m not even on the list just enquired and they said it’s coming in this month.
Yeah. Maybe but I wanted the pre face lift one tho you had to be on that list like years ago.
Can you get the indicator lights to flash when locked/unlocked?
@@JohnConrick-vp2oc yes you can I just bought the module. There is a premium version that you can purchase that wires up to the indicators.
Add that bit of chain back on as a link between your mower and tow point. The front is lifting up because of the angle to the mower.
This is true. But it is easier on the mower when the front lifts. I.e. when I do top dressing or turf underlay when the bars get too full and becomes heavy for the mower the front lifts and let's some material out thus taking the strain off the mower. I'll have to make a video about it.
