Kayaking 6.8 Miles on The Cuyahoga River: Eldon Russell Park
In this video, my husband and I kayak from Eldon Russell Park to Rt. 422 on the Cuyahoga River. It took us about 4 hours but it was a gorgeous and enjoyable trip. This video shows the route and the beauty of the river. This is long but I wanted to show just how amazing this trip was.

    Nice review! Can I ask what the folded length of your tripod is? It seems to fit in your 30 liter well. I'm looking at the 40 liter but carry a Leofoto that's 23.5" closed. I'd go with a 30 liter if my tripod and the large core unit would fit in it, though. Thanks

    Wow! Wow! Wow! I was so interested in this bag I have looked at every single review I could find on UA-cam and they never really got specific enough as to how this bag would work functionally seemed more like a paid advertisements. I found this review very thorough and informative and the best I’ve seen yet and I so appreciate finding it. It stopped me from making what would’ve been an obvious mistake in my purchase and I’m now gonna look for an alternative backpack. I’m looking forward to future reviews from you. Thank you.

    Thank you so much for this fantastic and very thorough review. This bag looks like a dream! So versitile and finally a woman's fit! I've only come across the F-Stop Kashmir that's specifically made for women's bodies in mind but this looks like it's got more going for it. Loving all the pockets and how you can switch them around or take them off. Very cool indeed!

    ROFL! "This is the Lowepro Protactic 450 AW camera backpack." It sounded perfectly like "These are the 5.11 Stryke tactical trousers... ." Thanks for this great review. Are they exactly the same width? It looked like the new one was more narrow. But you had all of your gear in the other one. Also, what's the perfect $400 one. I'm literally thinking about buying a 5.11 backpack and modifying it with padding, and installing a side zipper - because the perfect bag doesn't appear to exist. I'd really like one like the 350 AW li because I want it as compact as possible. But it doesn't look like it will hold the Nikon Z9 with a lens - or at least not so I could pull it through the side zipper. So, I'm looking for the 350 but thicker to accommodate aZ9 w 70-200.

    It's a decent bag but the thing I seem to have an issue with is the zipper closure on the right side of the front of the bag... The main access compartment. I've tried to lubricate it with vascoline but it still gives me a hard time trying to open it. I definitely don't want to use a spray lube (WD-40, Etc... ) To get the darn thing to operate properly. WD40 is toxic and creates a mess if one doesn't apply it properly! NTL, the camera bag doesn't provide addiquite storage for large lenses over 70-200mm.

    Great review Tammy. Tenba looked great and was of very high quality. I came back to this review a few times after viewing the bag in a store. I went with the ThinkTank Urban Access 15, as it had dual side opening, which suits me more for my travel needs. Also the side opening of the Urban Access was large enough to easily pull out camera or lenses.

    To @enigmasunshine4554, I am so sorry I accidentally deleted your question on the bag as I was trying to edit my comment. I was sent this bag by Shimoda to test and do a review for them. I own four of their bags and was a tester for the female shoulder straps they have. I recently purchased the Explore V2 35L as an upgrade for my wildlife photography and I love it! Shimoda knows that I always give an honest review....I don't sugar coat anything! LOL Hope that helps. It also states in the video in the beginning about this as well.

      @@tammymellertphoto 2 things you pointed out in your video. Laptop storage is in the back. While flying, this is not easily accessible without unzipping the back. 2, the back still unzips with the shoulder straps. These are part of the design of the V2.

    I have so much trouble finding a backpack to fit me. Why are so many camera backpack straps so wide and stiff and uncomfortable! May be fine for a man with broad shoulders, but not us women. I think I'm resigned to ordering a Shimoda, though it's much larger than I require.

    • @tammymellertphoto
      @tammymellertphoto Рік тому

      I know exactly how you feel on this one. Shimoda makes great bag and their new Explore V2 25L might be a good one for you if you want a small yet comfortable bag. The straps that some with it are redesigned and are really comfortable for women (well at least me). It will fit a mirrorless kit nicely. I own the 30L and the 35L of that bag and love them but I tend to carry everything but the kitchen sink with me. Also, you can try two bag from Tenba that are great and I own them both. First one is the Tenba Shootout 16L DSLR backpack. It is perfect for either a mirrorless or DSLR system with plenty of room for other gear but is very comfortable. It is a small bag as well which makes it nice. I LOVE mine so much I have two of them LOL! The new one that just came out is the Tenba Axis V2 16L. I just got this bag so I haven't had too much time with it but it fits comfortably. I will be doing a review on that one as well. I hope that helps a bit!!
