Hello and thanks for checking out my channel North Fork Lures, I'v always had a passion for fishing since I was a kid. When I was young I started getting into some trouble, but found fishing, and I spent my time fishing and exploring rather than drugs. Fishing diverted my attention away from what was a rough road. I encourage all who watch my channel to take the youth fishing, who knows maybe you will save a kids life? My channel is about everything fishing and outdoors as well.
I also make my own fishing lures for kokanee, salmon, trout, and steelhead, but they catch much more you can see a video on my website northforklures.com for a video of that. I traveled 5 hours to meet Justin Hammell with Quinalt Guide Service so he could take me fishing, and i wasn’t disappointed!! I ended up hooking at least 8 fish but only managed to land 2. Miles, John, and myself went to a local river to get our fish on. Pretty fun day, John landed a chinook on a spinner, miles and I ended up hooking a fish each, (not necessarily how we wanted to) but still had a fun fight, they both went back into the water safely. So Dom..? Have you ever accidently pinned your hand or finger to the headliner in the car while driving?
No… how does that happen?
Usually a spinner or jig hanging from mirror or edge of headliner and you try adjusting your mirror or visor and one side of treble hook is in your finger another is in mirror or headliner.. all you can do is to keep driving till u find a place to safely stop and you use the had that was on the wheel to get freed up

You had the jar lifter upside down…., and you said the time was 80 minutes and you processed it for 90 minutes.
Ok. Great observation. It is 90 min. And I prefer the jar lifter that way, it’s more comfortable.. but that’s just my preference

How’d did the little boat do? I have a 12ft smokercraft Alaskan I use in area 12 and the lakes wouldn’t mind trying this spot
I honestly don’t recommend it. The issue is the dam release of water this time of year is sometimes unpredictable. I had a scary incident and haven’t been back in that smaller boat

Yes
You were using your jar lifter upside down. You will find that they lift way better. Also, i was always taught to use another shelf thing to stack the jars. You may need to purchase one since your canner only came with one.
Yes I agree, they don’t recommend stacking cans. And my sister called me out and said I had the van lifter upside down. 😂 thanks for watching

Good informational video for getting set up. Think I need to get me a sock or two. Just an FYI for length distance use the rule of thumb for your hoochie or wedding ring lures is 1 1/2 - 2 lengths of the dodger.

Where the hell are you finding that calm of water on the cowlitz. Everywhere I go it's moving fast.
If you have answered this i apologize... is the same exact process for rainbow trout and what temp did you smoke them for on the 2 hour smoke?
Same process as rainbow trout. And I smoked them in a big chief, it doesn’t have a temp gauge but I’m guessing 175. Degrees if I was doing trout I would smoke, then peel the skin off.

This is rubbish I've had this camera for ages and no problem what so ever , video quality is great dunno what u expect for a cheap camera obviously u expect go pro quality which I must say is there over rated nothing but camera freeze with them
Glad you like yours. My biggest issue was downloading my content from my camera to my computer. The camera wasn’t working properly and the company said it was the software. So that’s my experience

Yes I’ve seen it happen a few times. They usually break off when you get them close to the boat
