      I consulted the service manual and matched it with the axle in my truck. I believe the 3.92 LSD is the only one that calls for 140 weight, though, so not a very common application. Mine called for what I used (3.55 conventional axle).

    You think I'll struggle if I have 3.21s on my 2022 3.6? Some v6s come with 275/65/18s with 3.21s stock. Will 275/70r18 rebel wheels make a big difference?

    • @winniedoesyoutube
      @winniedoesyoutube 21 день тому

      Not a big difference IMO but you’d notice it. No reason you can’t buy the wheels and keep the stock tire size if you’re concerned

      @@winniedoesyoutube I think I'm gonna stick to 275 65 r18 duratrac. Stock size. I don't think the 3.21 gears are much help with 33s.

      @winniedoesyoutube 21 день тому

      @@Carl0sjim3n3z yeah, if I’m being completely honest I liked driving the truck a bit less after going up a size. Better to look at lol, but I think the 3.6 is perfectly balanced with the stock size. Going up, even though it was just a bit, made it feel a tad underpowered to me. All up to personal preference though, of course!

      @winniedoesyoutube would you trade your truck in for a hemi? Also I think the v6 cannot handle any tire over 32". The engineers did their homework.

    • @winniedoesyoutube
      @winniedoesyoutube 21 день тому

      @@Carl0sjim3n3z I had a hemi before this. I like them both, just for different things. Since having kids I mostly commute and do a lot less towing, so the v6 was a better fit. Still has around 7k tow capacity and better mpg. I also got tired of breaking exhaust manifold studs. Had 160k on my hemi when I sold it and it had gone through 4 sets by that point.

      I would imagine that fluid type and capacity could be different. In my experience, some diffs have drain plugs, others need the cover removed to drain the fluid. A Haynes repair manual is where I always start, most local auto parts stores carry them-and torque specs should be listed there too

    I get 5 gallon buckets from restaurants in my area. I use a drainage pan with a spout and just pour it in and leave it overnight and it all drains out beautifully and effortlessly. If you put up a craigslist or Facebook add somebody will take the full 5 gallon buckets for projects. I use it for exterior wood waterproofing in my yard. Keeps the ants and termites away and permanently waterproofs even plywood and wet weather.
