How is it that this Attraction from 1987 still holds up far Superior than both the Prequel/Sequel Trilogy?

This was my favorite ride I always want to that ride first thing when I enter to Hollywood studios

It's been so long and yet I still remembered every sequence and line of this. And my first time riding it at Disneyland. With a queue that wrapped twice up and down Main Street before turning back into Tomorrowland and into the building.

I adore this coaster. It’s so whatever with the lights on but with the lights off and Aerosmith playing its magic. I know a retheme is coming and it will break my heart
