6:37 Amazing that a line tha's so consistent and clear in the japanese version was translated so drastically differently across all 3 games it appears in that you can't tell at *all* that they're supposed to call back to each other. It's even worst here because the *official* translation in Battle is "Looks like you both have one thing in common... Persistence.". Not only can you not tell that the line is supposed to be the same one said in heroes and Sa2, the translators seem to think that it's a line Sonic said in *this* game, even though he didn't and couldn't have meaning that Shadow is remembering events that didn't happen at all, and that he was talking about Shadow and *Emerl*. Just... wow. What a goddamn mess this simple line became.

I really don't like that people bypass this game when talking about the shadow in the 2010 era, they always say he is just edgy and grumpy but this game shows he does care in his own way about sonic and tails he can even be proud of them i mean he is still a jerk but he isn't fully edgy.

Honestly the best case scenario would be an adaptation that would combine the best parts of the English and the Japanese scripts. They both have their own lore and characterization to add.

cutscenes are clearly originally in English, but hey, the Japanese voice actors are paid tons more
