Mustchero Grille, Gas Tank And Brakes
As we slowly progress on the building of Mustchero, we address the assembly of some of the front body with the grille. From there the gas tank is set up and aside from a few other things, the brake system is resurrected in its entirety, sparing the need for a full system rebuild. The progress continues, with Mustchero becoming more of an actual complete car.

1971 Mustang Coupe Ex-Donor Car Renewed

After changing my mind about cutting up this donor body to fix Truckstang 2, I decided to build this car back to a drivable car. Even though this car will be built back to stock levels, this car will be built with a twist: It's going to be built as a ute, just like Truckstang 2, with a few little differences. #automobile #diy #mechanic #mechaniclife #hotrod #mustang #mustangcar #ratrod #roadkill

We were gifted another vehicle that was no longer needed in the form of an old 94 Toyota Camry that ran when parked. Unlike the false claims that this statement typically covers, this car did indeed run when parked. With the engine finally showing its age in the Chevy Tracker, we sourced a spare engine that needed a head gasket. Since it's gotta be torn apart I chose to rebuild the thing so we can at least say the bottom end is good to go along with the head gasket. Does anyone happen to know if its a little easier to.. A. Disconnect axles and pull entire drivetrain in one unit? Or.. if you have access to a lift.. B. Easier to drop engine/drivetrain out from the bottom after removing exhaust/axles??

  • @lesserstatus
    @lesserstatus 2 дні тому

    6:50 there are two spots on the engine to put a hangar to lift the engine. 1 spot, in the front, above the exhaust manifold far left (passenger) side. 2nd spot, on the drivers side of the engine is above the transaxle , this one is really hard to spot.If you follow the ignition wire to the side, there is a hose that covers the second spot. You can buy the two hangars to lift the engine.First hangar 12281-28010 second hangar 12282-28010 bolts 91512-61020 total price should be less than $50. Hope this helps people.

      @LILALBINOBOY I would see if there's a plug with another line branching off that has a plug to match up, the fuel sending unit and pump would be on the same plug but it could be some kind of feedback line for the ecu to operate the gauges. It's those reasons the classic car hobby has gotten ridiculous over the years because of people taking otherwise affordable cars and building $100k restos, making anything but junk unattainable for the average guy. The cost of the aftermarket does the same making those of us with lesser means have to resort to all kinds of backyard engineering something car we can enjoy from the junk we can afford.

    I just purchased the 1077 about a week ago and the magazine doesn't seem to be turning the clip all the time. The clip spins fine by hand, but If I manually pull and push the lever in the back of the magazine in and out, the clip will turn to the next slot, but sometimes it will only move partial then slip back. This explains why it'll misfire or I'll end up with 1-3 pellets left sporadically in the clip. There are a couple screws on the side of the mag, so can it be safely taken apart without springs flying all over the place?

    • @TheImprovisationCenter

      @nyrainman4897 I never broke down the mag itself. I'd hate to think a newly made mag is being made by lower quality standards compared to those of 25 years ago. Did you try another rotary clip to see if maybe the problem lies there? Since everything's plastic near as I seen, the lever that advances the clip is probably damaged or just not long enough to grab the teeth on the clip.

    I just got the 1077 and not even getting 24 good shots before the co2 runs low. I do notice during each shot a white spray coming out the barrel, as well as both sides of the magazine. Is this normal or part of the problem?

      @nyrainman4897 there would be a little co2 blow by between the magazine and output of the valve. Main thing is asking sure no gas is heard hissing from anywhere between shots. I can see only getting 24 good high powered shots on the high powered version of the gun. The valve I installed ended up being the weak sauce version that gave me velocities comparable to a co2 pistol so the co2 cartridge lasted longer for me.
