How to Baste a Quilt using the Bo Nash Bonding Agent
Fuse things without fumes!
The Bo Nash Bonding Agent is extremely versatile. A little goes a long way! Starter kits comes with a1oz container of bonding agent, two Non-stick Ironing and Craft Pressing Sheets 9″ X 6″ and a full set of written instructions.
In this demo Rita shows how to permanently baste batting to a "quilt top". If you only want to temporarily baste it (because you may want to reposition), then just use less powder. More powder = strong hold, less powder = light hold.
Make invisible repairs, save a fortune!
- Repair tears and holes
- Use for appliques, applying labels
- Perfect for surface embellishments
- Use for a multitude of craft projects
- Baste quilts. Stays soft, no pins!
- Can stitch through. Will not gum up needle

    You can use a lighter and just run it on the end of the ribbon. Not enough to burn it but it will colorlessly melt the edge

    • @njefferson1926
      @njefferson1926 3 місяці тому

      Yes - I just recently learned this trick! I did not know it at the time of making this video.

  • @elizabethc3842
    @elizabethc3842 8 місяців тому

    Why wouldn't you just stitch it from the back because you are covering it with the ribbon? Wouldn't it be easier and much more accurate?

    When cutting out the template on the cutting mat how do you cut the circle?

    • @njefferson1926
      @njefferson1926 3 місяці тому

      Are you referring to how I cut a hole for the neck in the template plastic? I first made a little hole using my craft scissors then carefully cut towards the edge of the circle at an angle. Once I reached the circle, I slowly and continuously cut along the line moving the template as I cut.
