There are more than two YT channels who do this. What we want to see is the view of the runway from the pilot's seat. This is difficult for these YT channels because they can't get a video of Real Life. Only real aviators can judge TLOD from the pilot's seat. Even so, TLOD, World Scale and sharpness are dependent on the CPU and GPU you have. All I can say is with my rig, MSFS2020 is OK.

on point 6, i remember passing that but the thing in my compass was on the green setting and not purple maybe thats why. try changing it to the loc1 thing

In the EFB, there are checklists for the plane you are flying, I believe under "aircraft" and they have small "eye" icons, which direct you to the switches, lights, etc. in the cockpit.

To get above 10000ft you need to reduce fuel mixture (red lever next to the throttle) to 50% or less as the air is thinner above 10000ft so your basically your flooding the engine with to much fuel, 18000ft max without oxygen in ms 2024 so don't go above

there is a check list on the efb tablet you can use. it will show an eye icon where the switch you need is.

For the Cessna 208b, you have to put the condition lever down a notch for taxi.

Is this when the gamers come to simulators and don't really understand what the whole thing is about? I have been careering the whole week after thinking I would never be interested in it as someone who used to fly only Fenix in 2020. I'm totally hooked now. The whole time I have not encountered a bug that would prevent me from two things: learning flying and enjoying flying.

I believe the Cessna fuel issue may be you didn't make sure that its drawing from both tanks, so one tank empty, one full, but nothing going to engine. Made the same mistake several times first starting out

Flight sim 2020 with google maps +. Ez real life graphics in 30 seconds.Its that simple. Ita atill Directx 12 in both games so why would you another 100 dollars for another similar sim with worse draw distances in 2024. Its wierd. And trust me apart from worked on cities other locations look so cartoonish with trees floating. I wasted my money you should not and btw my oc is i7 12700k and rtx 4080 32 gigs of ram and 300Mbps on the connection.

2:30, if you have multiple monitors you can have vpilot open whilst your flying and select the frequency on vpilot you need to tune to and right click on it then "Tune COM 1"

I have not had any crashes for sure have had glitches though but I do think VR runs better in the 2024 version even with all the glitches.

I am unable to buy it on the Xbox page. Something seems to be wrong with the payment portal. I live in Nigeria and hope that's not part of the problem. 😅

I think the most important thing to remember is that us controllers don't bite unless you really push it. From a controllers perspective, we know when you are new, and we will guide you if we have the time. If a controller gets snappy with you, they are probably juggling more than 20 aircraft at once which sounds easy, but it isnt. So for new pilots, best advice i can give is dont start at Gatwick or Heathrow for your first flight - You will get torn up if things arent quick. Try Edinburgh or Manchester for your first time, and know your aircraft! We are people too and we have all started in the exact same position regardless of how good we sound over the frequency! dont be afraid to give us a message if things are quiet on the network, if you ever see my name pop up over at Edinburgh, come say hello!

I haven't had any issues you are talking about. If you have the ideal settings like MSFS 2024 recommends, I doubt you will have the issues either. I am also running on a 7gbps internet, so maybe thats why.

I'm happy to say I've had zero problems with MSFS2024. Why? Because I wasn't naive enough to buy it before the major bugs are sorted out! 😆

Crashing all the time to desktop with no error messages or anything ! So random............ Also every single Bush in the world is a TREE ! it looks stupid , they really need to tone down the TREE count ! You would think the whole world was a Rain Forest.

I tried to tell them about it on the forums, they removed the post and messaged me and told me I was a terrible person... I thought I was pretty restrained =P I have no doubt they'll get all of this fixed, but I can't even fly without crashing to the desktop. It would be one thing if they released it as Early Access and charged a nominal fee, but to charge so much money for the aviator edition and then deliver a paper airplane edition is cruel and predatory. I really hope they fix themselves and soon.

Flight Simulator games requirements always traditionally humble gaming PC's. I can go back decades and tell you that every system upgrade I've done has in some way been justified by a flight simulator game. Whether it was Falcon 4.0, Jane's F/A-18, Flight Simulator 2000, Flight Simulator X or Flight Simulator 2020. I'm fortunate enough to have a Gigabit ethernet connection to fiber, and didn't play 2024 until several days after its release. I haven't experienced any streaming issues but am plagued by CTD's on PC.
