Houdini Tip: Removing Backface Culled Faces
Here's a quick tip for removing backface culled faces without altering your original mesh. This technique utilizes the dot product and the new Clip node, which now supports clipping by attribute-a truly powerful feature.
While inspired by Jafar Dashtinejad's method, my approach eliminates the need for remeshing, offering a more efficient solution.

remesh (highres) => poly reduce (lowpoly) => uvautoseams => uvunwrap => uvlayout. Combine that with merging, and you get entire compounds low/highres, for free.
Add a remesh node at the end with target size 0.05. something that will give you : highres geometry, proper smoothing, and keeps edge damage details.
"Houdini Image Camera Matching" - Okay, just use another software and youre good.

Excelent work!! Is there a way to create a shader to make the LIDAR points the same color as the object its touching? Intead of color based on the range, color based on the neareast object material Or any way to segment the LIDAR ? I'm still new to blender

Niiiiiice. You should try a version where the bounce boards are all prisims, and as the beam bounces further around, the ray splits into the spectrum.

VDB have positive and negative voxels in they negative a hey attribute -1 and this way I say to points move them until they are 1. 1(Outside)/ -1(inside)

i remember how i tried to make morph between two procedural objects and there were no possible in c4d or blender way to make it, and houdini... i am sooo new to it like, i just start to learn like windows and menu but like half year and there is, the updates and its possible to morph two objects with different amount of tris/polys/verts but yet in blender its hard love it, this is so smooth
