I run my operations the same way
4960 brought 60,000 Saturday here at a equipment sale🤦♂️
Just goes to show that they keep putting out expensive crap. Same with car assembly plants.
God will Supply!
JD just look like cheap made junk these days. Generic feeling
11,000 for a switch plow....32000 for a small john deere....41,000 for a 16k hour tractor. Doesnt seem too low to me, pretty much in line
Kubota. That's the fix
I don't see a link to buy Cornmeal or Grits from you. I want to support the American Farmer
trucker's friend!!!
Purchased a sprayer and planter at auction for about half price in December 24'. Saved about $120K from buying at dealer. And equipment is in great shape. Only need regular maintenance before spring and the normal checks.

Would a fence like the one you mention stop wild boars from entering your property?
You better watch out for Randy now 😂
Plumets................Dyslexia has risen slightly
Ive run both a 4955 and a 8900 series and the 8900 was twice the tractor of 4955 to work out of been comfortable and driving one and pulled better to.
I sold my John Deer stocks
The hi clear is a option from deere
I see the Georgia Southern hat. Are you from around Statesboro, SE Ga?

Farmers afraid of tariffs on corn & soybeans?
@@Jack-ne8vm We have to have a major change in our industry. I can’t speak for all farmers, but as for all the farmers I’ve talked to everyone of them voted Trump, they were all profitable during his first term, and they ALL lost money during Biden. The purpose of the tariffs is to help us receive a better price for our commodities….we will see if the plan works or not.
The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain. ~Chief Montgomery Scott
Thats why we run old Massey 😅 Fuck that deer!
Live free and die John Deere
Oh that must be the John Deere that came from Canada, don’t worry John Deere is now moving to Mexico it’ll be way better🎉
Here goes on your water bottle. Is it for a windshield washer. Squeeze the bottle to spray water. ????
@@danielmahoney8669 that is actually a reasonable and realistic guess. Great job! I didn’t think of that.
Well, let's see, the government loans money to make too many farmers and subsidizes crops to keep too many farmers, and farmers keep growing more per acre. We're going to have to lose some farmers, or switch to more local, less efficient farming. Fortunately, there is an obesity epidemic, so we're a long way from starving, in fact, some hunger would be good for us.
@@dalej.1751 well, let’s see, the government loans money to a tiny fraction of farmers that qualify as historically underserved. The US government DOES NOT subsidize crops. We do however have higher yields per acre than past. Farm acreage isn’t increasing, but demand for the commodities is. Demand increases as population increases, our acreage stays the same.
Greg Judy would have sold these cows that tried to run you down.
I have listened to youtube producers and they all say some things about the tool they are using or if it isn't shown on the video then people think you haven't done that thing.

Farming is a passion of mine it’s all I ever wanted to do but a 33 years old I decide to start a clearing and custom land works business because it’s the only way I see my farm expanding. I always worked my day job and farmed at night and days off but it’s still not paying off after 10 years I don’t know what the future will hold for the young generation that want to farm
@@joshuakirby3531 every operation is different. They each have to find ways to be profitable. I like your idea of land works business, it goes hand in hand with being a farmer.
Old Deere v. No owner right to repair FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION, STATE OF ILLINOIS, and STATE OF MINNESOTA, Plaintiffs, v. DEERE & COMPANY, Defendant. For decades, Defendant Deere & Company, a manufacturer of large agricultural equipment including tractors and combines, has throttled the ability of farmers and independent repair providers (“IRPs”) to repair Deere equipment, leaving farmers wholly reliant upon Deere’s network of authorized dealers (“Deere dealers”) for many key repairs. Deere’s increasingly sophisticated agricultural equipment requires a software tool to diagnose and repair problems that relate to electronic functions, and only Deere has the information and knowledge to create this essential tool. By making this tool available only to Deere dealers, Deere forces farmers to turn to Deere dealers for critical repairs rather than complete the repairs themselves or choose an IRP that may be cheaper, closer, faster, or more trusted. Deere’s unlawful business practices have inflated farmers’ repair costs and degraded farmers’ ability to obtain timely repairs, which is especially critical in times of planting and harvesting.
We did to
I hate it for you, but Trumps tariffs are going to kill you guys. He can't bail you outthistime because his billionaire buddies are expecting their tax breaks. Pray for our farmers.
@@kriskeilholz8900 farms were profitable last time he was in office (don’t forget we actually have a track record to point at). The last administration was the single most devastating to farmers in history. It will be hard to do worse.
Idk how farmers put up with this crap from JD.
@@desertmulehunter the same way we put up with being 900% priced gouged by every corporation we do business with
Farmers need to come together and sell through a single point of entry to these big buyers screwing them over.
@@davileett1224 unity would be absolutely put the farmers in control. If a group of farmers says we’re not selling unless you pay us X then the next farmer down the road immediately tells big corp I’ll grow as much as you’ll buy for X minus 25. Farming has always suffered from high volume of backstabbing opportunist. Unity would solve all the ag problems.
@@PatrickShivers Ideally you could gather up enough farmers that it becomes a majority so that the guy up the street might do it once or twice, but would soon realize it's better to jump on the bandwagon. Big corp would either pay higher prices or decide to venture out to foreign countries and produce. Something has to give or farmer will continue being a dying breed. I am mid 30s and would like to get into direct to consumer farming, but land is so expensive the return on investment makes the math a struggle.
John Deere have something green around the farm all year long lol straight trash
Thats why i drive a 97 f350 7.3 and not a new 6.7
Would be nice to take this guy to the auction with me, lol.
I was thinking that prices were bound to drop unfortunately.
Who ever pait 41 grand for that 15 thousand hour deere made a huge mistake. 25 grand would be more correct.
@@kennardjohnson7875 I saw some 4960s last year with 10,000+ selling for over $60,000. Saw an 8400 a few years ago with 9,000 hours go for $98,000.
It's a piss bottle. LOL
Why is the engine life less on the newer tractors? Is it because of all the pollution control components?
@@stevenpringle7813 the Regin process directs hot exhaust back into the intake manifold thus raising the operating temperature of the engine. This cooks the engine components. I am friends with one of the engineers that helped design the system. He told us years before it came out “y’all ain’t going to like what’s coming, it’s going to make your tractors less reliable and more costly to run.” Straight from one of the engineers mouth to my ears
@@PatrickShivers Ya, anytime you get idiot governments (certain ones I might add) involved this sort of garbage is the result. I imagine if you had it all deleted on one of the new tractors the engine longevity would go back to what it was before.
@ first hand knowledge: if you delete it the engine runs cooler, produces more power, is more fuel efficient, and yes it last longer. Government, no matter the party, is the problem with whatever they are involved in.
@@PatrickShiverspreach brother. Left or right, these politicians are part of the major issues at hand.

Do you save your seed for the next year’s crops such as corn? Are you concerned we are going to lose the non-GMO seeds due to the pressure from big Ag?
That John Deere shilling was very cringe and juvenile 😂 nothing you said was even close to relevant. Its cheaper to have your john Deere tatoo removed then spend that much energy defending a shitty unamerican company.
Gee, I hope the answer isn't begging the government for more subsidies or some sort of bailout. Cause the tax payer like me can't get a bailout when we make a deal with the devil.
@@benredacted8468 “more” subsidies? The US farmers, despite common myth, are NOT subsidized

@@PatrickShivers huh, whaaat? Yeah super complex.
Big farms who are neck deep needs to go bust, that will help other farm.
@@okok-gg5fl We are both speculating here but, I don’t think any farm going out of business is going to make anything better. As I mentioned in the video, the acreage will not change. Every acre gets planted no matter how many farmers are doing it. If farmers quit being willing to pay high rent and willing to sign low contracts for their commodities then rent will immediately go down and commodities go up
@@PatrickShivers When thinks get bad enough then there are no point to farm every acre.
@ I know farmers pulling back. Numerous of them cutting acres, while the big fish are picking those acres up. IF no one will agree to rent the land then the land owner reduces the rent until somebody sees the opportunity to turn a profit on it. I have talked to one farmer that said he might lay out some of the ground he owns.
