      Yes I’ve looked into street lifting approaches where they look at the barbell squat as a weighted calisthenics movement. Good point !

    So do you experience more grip strength from doing this to get up on hand grippers cause I did the math and theoretically if I can hang for three minutes I can close a 350 pounds gripper?

    • @BryantPabonPrimal
      @BryantPabonPrimal 13 днів тому

      I think your getting into semantics I think it’s personal preference on wether what method you use to strengthen your grip. Dead hangs not only strengthen your grip but has shoulder health benefits as well hope that helps !

    Hey Mr. Pabor. I m french so sorry if my english no on point. You need a Rope flow( it’s like a heavier jump rope, and you can do really spicy thing for mobility, balance and coordination in standing position) nsima niang,way of the rope, channel here on youtube. Your seem massive and muscular, so you need the medium to heavier ones. Look out plz, you won’t regret. Plus, it’s like an grab an go training. Coming from a muay thai/ mma/judo background, was and avid jump"ropper" and the switch made me a Way more vicious fighter. Your training is definitly ON POINT.

    Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I love rings but I always come back sometimes to regular dips, I feel I can get more burn out of it. Do you use this workout as a maintenance, or do you try to improve every session, and how? (more reps, less time...)

    • @BryantPabonPrimal
      @BryantPabonPrimal 2 місяці тому

      Thank you for watching. I love rings also but do agree with where dips on bars help with the mind muscle connection and getting more of bodybuilding pump. I do try and progress to an extent because I also do jiujitsu so I don’t necessarily want to cause extreme soreness. I’ve been playing with ladder/pyramid sets like 1 up to 10 for example. I’ll share this idea on later video

    I resonate with a lot of what you were describing. I wonder if you desire specific skills like levers, crosses, and planches, or more so generalist? Cause if the former you could benefit from specific assisted band work. I enjoyed your thoughts around connecting to working out

    • @BryantPabonPrimal
      @BryantPabonPrimal 2 місяці тому

      Appreciate you liking the content. To answer your questions calisthenics skills are a great pursuit and if it’s in the bandwidth for you to master then go for it. Although generalist movements like dips pull-ups and pushups especially when weighted are better for building up your body.

    Eloquent video brother. Putting things in perspective is how you keep spiraling forward. Asking what is best for me is deep introspection work. The power to discern is what maxes out your potential in the end. Dips and pullups can give you everything if you let it. But wanting more is the spice of life. Most people aren't impressed by anything if they can't do it themselves yet. So everything has to be for you and your family. God speed brother

    Nice video man, it’s great to hear about barefoot shoes in an MMA context. What’s your opinion on Altra shoes for running/sprinting? They’re zero-drop and have a wide toebox to let your toes spread out, but they have more cushioned midsoles than most barefoot shoes. There’s not many grassy areas where I live, so I was wondering if these are better for running on concrete.

    • @BryantPabonPrimal
