Okay you may have guessed this is toooottttalllyyyy tongue in cheek of course haha, but actually sort of accurate in a sense:
After hiking the Appalachian Trail and other trails like the West Highland Way I was left with some feelings when I got back into reality/my everyday life: That these trails had RUINED MY LIFE (or, less dramatically, that they'd altered the lense through which I see my life and my expectations for it)
Have you experienced anything similar after a long hike or a thru-hike?
