I always get a lot of flak for this especially being a Michigan fan, but Ohio States pageantry is second to none. EVERY piece played from Carmen to Buckeye Swag and I Wanna Go Back to Ohio are ALL classics. That’s not even to mention THE SCRIPT! It’s no question why they are called TBDBITL! The only thing better than being in this band would have to be being the ‘dot’ in this band. Thanks for sharing!

Hello! I’m sure this is unusual, but I believe we may have been close at one point. I was in the Little Miami Marching band, we played at your Skull Session on November 12th. Y’all did amazing! I believe our director put in a request for another session, so we may meet again. Do well!

Where do you attach your camera?

Is there a moment (off camera) when you guys tuned up together? Your collective pitch is so good. A quick search gives tuning procedures for concert bands, but how do marching bands establish the ensemble pitch?

Do you do some of these moves by dead reckoning ("take three steps right") or do you use the gridiron markings, or both? Did you know that football fields were once marked off in five-yard squares? That's where the term 'gridiron' comes from (the field was also 110 yards long with a 55-yard line at midfield, but no endzone).

I loved being able to play my trombone on this field it was such an honor.

I've found second trombone music on the university website, but idk if that's the only part like of there is also 1st and second parts too.

I love the classic, no Kevlar, snare drum sound. Makes it match the band a lot better tbh.

It’s too bad we didn’t make that field goal 😭 but hey, at least Michigan didn’t win either. Oh my god 11:26 made my day 💀 idk why but I found that hilarious. Also, watching Script Ohio again reminded me of when my highschool did script Bears, and one of my freshmen was behind me, and hit me in the head with his baritone bell when we turned the corner. Most memorable script I have ever had thus far 😂

Average day in Ohio

I have seen a lot of FPV videos of this band and i still can’t tell how the musicians know, where to go, when to turn around, where to stop. There must be a lot of practice.

i wish i could join tbdbitl, but im just a mere saxophonist in my local high school marching band :( i was thinking about taking up baritone or french horn, but i have a feeling i wouldnt be a great mello player with barely any brass experience XD p.s our band went to the 2022 buckeye invitational AND got a 1, so i probably saw you there =:)

Michigan fan here but I can't deny OSU has one of the best band of any style in the world. Ous, southern, jsu, michigan and NCAT are probably my top 5
