Just got accepted into USAFA prep school so if anyone has questions let me know and I can help you. Only have 3.7 Unweighted GPA and a 1200 SAT, I just had a good background in everything else.

Hi, I’m a junior in high school with a 3.95 unweighted GPA, and I’m wondering if my hs career is good enough for the academy. I did band for 2 years, first chair in the wind ensemble my second year, 2 years of water polo and swim (hoping to be captain next year) , sga ( running for Vice President for senior year), dual enrollment, and all my high school classes (except sga) are ap. I also am a lifeguard for my community pool and have over 200 community service hours. Do I need to add more diversity to stand out?

I am in my freshman year of highschool, I am taking all honors classes except English which is just regular, it is because I wasn’t able to take Honors English I since of my schedule. I am taking Honors French III with Juniors in my class ( I am only freshman). I am also taking Honors Geometry, Honors Bio, Honors Concert Band w/ jazz, I am also taking AP Human Geography. I did XC in the fall on the JV team and gonna do Baseball in the Spring. Every summer I go to a summer camp in Maine called Leaders School. If I keep up with things like what I am doing, will I have a shot at getting in the USAFA? I am planning on taking all Honors classes for the next years of High School w/ AP French next year along with AP US History. I also plan on taking AP Physics and Calculus, along with Engineering and coding classes in my Junior and Senior years. So do you think I have a shot?

Currently, I just graduated high school and I’m about to enter college. I didn’t know I wanted to apply to the Air Force Academy, and I regret not knowing about it sooner. Is it possible for me to do a college transfer after my freshmen year? I had a 4.0 GPA, had 3 APs my senior year, and I had about 4 leadership positions in different clubs (senior class secretary, key club event planner, Manager Link Crew), including AFJROTC which I was in for all four years, and was the executive Officer my junior-senior year. I was also top 10% of my class. Do you guys think I have a chance?

Will they look at my junior year a lot? My freshman year I got some C’s and currently have a gpa of 3.32. It will definitely go up through my junior year but how much will my 2 years affect my chances?

I am about to be a senior and have not taken any AP classes or honors classes due to my school being small and not offering them. My school also has a 7 pt grading system instead of 10. Do you think this limits my ability to get accepted?
