Orient SK 70's Reissue RA-AA0B03L19B Watch Unboxing & Review FULL HD
This is a brand new vintage watch, I guess. It is amazing, Orient literally took one of their vintage models (SK stands for Super King), put the new Japan made F6522 movement in it and now look, a beautiful timepiece. Many people say it's ugly, but it depends on taste, I love this one. It's an automatic watch with day/date function and an inner rotating bezel. This watch was reissued between end 2019 and start 2020, back then the price for this was very high, now I got it at a much better price.

It's a Sony In the video the radio didn't get any AM signals because in my region, especially my room has very bad signals, so it's hard to get one. Our family has the same recorder, is used in our country house mainly outdoor in different environment conditions including heavy ones - still alive!

Seems like this model is out of stock everywhere. Is there any recommended cassette player (new) beside Sony CFD-S70?
Sadly, this model got discontinued last year. Sony is the last big brand that produces good boomboxes with a cassette player. But there is a small bran that came out with a decent mechanism, I show you the video where it's reviewed.

@@PanaSonyc Thanks. I checked this out just a couple of days ago. Maybe I give it another look. I started to look after 2nd hand stuff too, but these cheaper boombox style devices harder to come by in good condition, compared to the premium decks. Found a local dealer selling a Sanyo MS320L - in working, good condition... maybe has better tech inside than most of todays junk.

Lovely watch! Is it sapphire or acrylic? And how is it doing after some months? I am thinking of getting one as well, from the same seller.
Sapphire 38mm. The seller is very nice. 😊 The watch performs very well, it still has zero scratches even if I wear it often. The movement is very accurate for the price. The only thing I don't like is the strap, only after few months of wear it starts to fall apart a little bit, which is not that beautiful.
@@PanaSonyc Thank you for the reply - that's some nice feedback. Yes I figured the straps are super bad. I'll change it right way, the moment I get the watch. Will use a hand-made actual leather one (I'm thinking rally style, with two the vintage stitches on the top) and a deployant buckle. Will talk to the seller and see what he says about the discount. You never want to use a plug in power supply with shortwave radio because of interference but it has a DC input if you observe the proper polarity and voltage when choosing a power source.

The whole internal movement cost less then a dollar to buy in China for majority of these watches. When buying internal movements in bulk prices get even cheaper then a dollar. The original seagull version from seagull official store is listed for almost 700 us dollars on aliexpress doubled in price over a year 🤣
Yes. I'm not interested in the original Seagull, since it has a solid metal caseback, so I can't see the movement. And 700$ is way too much for the same I have in the video👍🏻

@@aaaaaa6583 I never seen this movement being sold for 1$. What I saw is quartz versions of this watch for 30$. You can get a watch like mine for about 160$… and it is also with a display caseback. So it's even better than the original😅. And even mine is basically an original Seagull watch, since ST19 movements are only made by Seagull, and whoever made the case isn't that important. You have to be big company in china to get the wholesale 1 dollar price for internal movements. Enjoy the watch. Not many people know how cheap the movements actually are in China...

Great idea! As I have seen in videos these two are in functions almost identical I guess. Too bad the ICF-S10MK2 is discontinued
@retropolis I got mine about a year. I didn't give it a good time i left it often in a hot room where it was about 50°C and it doesn't have any problems. Durable radio. The only backside is that it gets scratched if you take it with yourself simply in your pocket, so I recommend to buy a protection case. You can find that cheap on Amazon or Aliexpress.

Have you tried recording from a phone/computer, using an aux cable?
Yes but I don't use this method because it's hard to get the right audio level. Like for example if the level is too high it'll sound like an earrape. But it's possible. Have a good day☺️
I have the same one and the problem is that when you plug external speakers in it you only get sound from the left speaker. Its only mono but maybe I can get a couple of adapters to make it stereo.
