Hi! It’s me, Kim, Kimmiekimbers! I’m as crazy as they come. 🤍
I began my journey to debt freedom 1/1/2022 w/just over $27,000 of consumer debt & $97,000 left on a mortgage. I was excitedly crushing debt at full speed until July 2023 when we faced a tremendous loss. Words can’t explain the heartbreak. But we’re at the end of the debt road now & starting a new life in a new state: Mobile home living in GA, y’all!🔹Hope you decide to follow the journey as we pick up the pieces.

Im new im on ss i was debt free in 2021 cost of living got me in a 15 550 debt yep i know what I need to do i just have be disappeared im closing out 4 creditors there lower ing my interest hopefully i can get jump start
Oh wow, yes I hear you. The cost of living is insane! I hate that it caused you to go in debt but I know can climb out if you stay focused on it. Now that the interest rates are falling it’s a good time to request lower interest rates from your creditors. I’ve done that a few times. I wish you all the best in your debt payoff journey ❤️
Thanks for the 411.
You’re welcome🤗
You are very beautiful 😍 definitely gained another subscriber 😉
Thank you so much! I appreciate it
Great tips 😊!
Thank you! 🤗
I will have to watch this when I can really focus.
We eat out way too much like $50 easy a day.
Oooohhh man, I hear you! We were doing the same thing for a while. It was a struggle for me to cut back on eating out so often. But I eventually got it under control. 😅
I know this feeling all too well. Hang in there
Thank you!! 🤗🙌🏾
Hola hello beautiful world God Almighty bless all ❤️yess unplug everything that is what we do and we make sure we wash dishes in the day time so we don't turn lights on during the day!! And at night I only turn on the living room only a few hrs at night and we only watch tv twice a week only shower every other day and then wash up the days that I don't shower ,we cut the toothpaste in the bottom of the toothpaste!! God Almighty bless all ❤️✨🌟❤️
Oh wow! Sounds like you’re a professional when it comes to saving money!! 🙌🏾 That’s fantastic. I should start doing that with toothpaste. ✂️ Thank you for sharing what is working well for you. I appreciate it ❤️
Thank you !!
You’re so welcome! 🤗
I used to have a car payment of $130 a month. I no longer have a car payment but I put the same amount into my savings account every month.
Yessss, that’s sooo smart!! I love it! A great way to build your savings. 🙌🏾
This video was so helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your tips.
Aw, that makes me happy! Thank you so much for watching 🤗
Mint Mobile is great! Also if you tell your providers you are not happy and ask them to lower your rate, they might do it.
I agree! I’m enjoying Mint Mobile. That’s an idea too, asking your providers for a lower price. At worst, they say “no” but it can’t hurt to ask.
This was the first time listening to you- and it took my back. My condolences to you and your family-
Thank you so much. I appreciate it.
Omg, my Great Depression era grandpa used to say “shut that light off! I don’t work for PG&E!” Still quote that to this day 😆
Yesssss!!!! lol!!! I love how those quotes stick with us for the rest of our lives 😂
@@debt2none lmao true! This is the first video of yours that I’ve seen btw. But I really like it! You have a very positive attitude and give practical advice. Subbing now and looking forward to more!
@PauliesLeftWalnut Aw!! I really appreciate that. Thank you!!!
I kept on going
That’s great! 🙌🏾
Good information, thank you! I'm really thinking of pulling money out of my annuity that matured and pay off debt.
Your channel just popped up into my feed . I'm so sorry for your loss. May God comfort and strengthen you and your husband. I'm studying the book of Job in my home fellowship group and your husbands' "friends" remind me of Job's "friends". This study is giving me a fresh perspective on how to encourage and love people that are suffering .
Thank you so much for your encouraging words. It just so happened that we began studying the book of Job last year when the mess began. It was extremely helpful during the difficult time. Thankfully, God has been giving us the strength we need to face each day. I’m so grateful for his love and tender care. Thanks again my friend 💗
How strange, this is the second video of yours I watched. I appreciate this video, I have a special needs child and it reminds me to savor the little moments even though it can be challenging. Like right now he doesn’t want to go to bed. lol. God bless you and your family, I’m sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how hard it is. That connection with a special child is indescribable and deep.
Aw, you get it. What a blessing you have. 🥹 Yes, it is so important to savor those moments. Though this is the hardest thing we’ve ever dealt with, I believe we’ll get through it with God’s help. Thank you so much for your kind words.
Hello sister, my only way to get out of debt is straight up aggressive. Pb&js and ramen noodles everyday until it’s paid off, I only splurge on coffee because I’m at work for 16 hours usually. The slower ways get me confused and complacent. If everyone’s struggling with these tips just pay off debt aggressive even if you have ten dollars left after paying it off, lol
Hey there! I am a fan of the aggressive approach to debt payoff. That’s definitely what I did when I had debt. However, I did slow down temporarily to build up my savings which proved to be the right move since we faced a tragedy shortly following. But yea, I love pb&j. We do what we have to do. 🙌🏾
sometimes I forget that not every country is like Sweden where the standard is that you get paid at the 25 and all repeating bills are due end of the month to so automating your bills is super easy. I get my salary 25e all bills pay the 26:e the rest is for saving and eating.
Oh yea, that does sound really easy. I forget that the US isn’t like everywhere else too. But being on UA-cam has helped me take that into consideration. 😃
New York is the best business move
Oh yea, there’s big money in New York
I now make $20.50 an hour so I’m hoping to save up to $20,000 in 7 months!! So I just estimated minus $1,000 for traveling and $2,980 for savings! That’s exactly $17,880 in 6 months! I already know that I’ll want to travel every few months so I will have some savings as well for both!! Hopefully I can make a savings account. I will also want to do some shopping with my first paycheck. I deserve it.
Sounds like you have an excellent plan. If you stick to it and you’ll definitely achieve your goal. For sure! 🙌🏾 I’m excited for you!!!
You should do exercises to help with the movement of your mouth. Overall, great video.
Aww, thank you Kimberly. ☺️ My crooked smile has grown on me over the years so I guess I’ll keep it.
@@debt2none that’s understandable and thank you for the information!
@KimberlyHayes-b8z I really appreciate you for watching so thank YOU 🤗
You really should not name the institution you bank with
Oh yea, if I really like something I want others to know about it.😆 No harm in that.
Love your content. Beautiful hair. Also, who is your stylist or website for your hair?
Thank you!! 💝 My go to website at the moment is Luvme Hair
Thank you for sharing this information
Aww! I really appreciate you taking the time to watch 🤗
The way i frequent wing stop, i need to do a no spend year. I’m about to be homeless if i keep going like this 😢
Or learn how to cook your own wings, you'll save a ton of money by replicating your favorite restaurants food in the kitchen, I know I did.
Girl you had me glued to the screen! I'm sorry that happened to you. That was crazy but the Lord got your back.
Thank you!! ❤️ It was such a wild experience.
Are there any budgeting apps you recommend?
Oh my, there’s many good ones out there & I haven’t tried them all yet 😆. I prefer the ones that are easy to use & free. I’ve tried EveryDollar, Goodbudget, Nerdwallet & Spending Tracker. I ended up sticking with Spending Tracker because it’s easy to use & it’s not connected to my bank accounts. But some people prefer connecting all their accounts in the budget app. If that’s the case with you, you may enjoy the EveryDollar app.
Congratulations 🎉
Thank you!!!! 😃
Hi! I hope everything is going well for you. When will you be giving an update? Or are you done with youtube?
I will be uploading soon. The move has had me out of sorts for a while but I’m pretty settled now 😬 Thank you for checking.
Hi, new viewer here 👋 Do you have to claim the interest on your taxes with a High Yield Savings accounts? That is what makes me hesitate on opening one.
Ohhhh…okay. Yes we’re supposed to claim all interest earned. I wasn’t making a lot of money on interest so it really didn’t make a huge impact on my taxes.
2024 🎉congrats !again
Awww ☺️ Thank you so much!
Merci mes condoléances 😊 🕊️❤
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You can use Upside at restaurants as well.
That’s right! I often forget about all the other options available
This just happened to me! But I managed to pay it off once, so this time it doesn’t seem as intimidating. We can do it!
Oh yea? Ok, if we keep our minds to the grind, it’ll be paid off soon enough. You got this!!! 🙌🏾
I make a couple thousand dollars a month if I'm lucky and my bills are almost half that and food is really expensive. I guess I gotta strap down extra now 🥲😪
You should go on financial audit!
lol! Oh yea? That would be fun except it’d be a boring episode since I paid off my debt.
@debt2none Woah I didn't expect a response😳 This is a great video! I think it would be good for you and others who aren't making crazy money but have a good understanding of saving! Also, it's hard for Caleb to make a boring episode🤣
Oh yea, I try to respond to all comments ☺️ Thank you sooooo much!!! I really appreciate your kind words. And you’re right about Caleb. His videos are never boring.
Thx u for your kind words and time into this / info !!!
Thank YOU!!🤗
I can't save $ I get a thousand a month im always paying off debt but I do buy something I want cause it brings me joy still don't spend lots I do alot though to cut down on spending bring my own food when I go out
I totally understand. For those of us working with a low income, I definitely feel the debt kills us. I went through that for years, couldn’t get my head above water. I wished I started sooner with cutting my non essential spending & paying off debt.
@@debt2none definitely but liked the video I just don't do savings cause I live cheap but love listening
@Phantomstories1831 I hear ya. Thank you so much for watching and sharing your experience. I really appreciate it! ❤️🤗
I use to have the same issue in my earlier years, what really helped me was adding anywhere from 3-5% to my expenditures and throwing it into savings at the end of the month. That way it forced me to save and be more budget conscience. You'll start looking at your expenditures differently if you had a sudden 5% increase in your cost of living for sure. Adding 5% or $0.15 to my daily $3.00 Dunkin Donuts coffee doesn't seem like much but in the long-term it really adds up, especially if it's done across the board. I hope that tip was as useful to you as it was to me.
I live in GA and moved here over 2 decades ago. GA and the South in general gets a bad rap as if everyone here is "racist", which is just not true. Honestly I have seen more active racism in the North. I will say that the issue is more being "Northern" and the reason for that is life moves a little slower in the South. You are expected to be polite even in more frustrating circumstances. However, Atlanta is more Northern hustle culture. If you move to a small town just look over the demographics. Many GA small towns are a mix of ethnicities and races. Generally that is what you want. Georgians are friendly people in general. It is not uncommon for total strangers to walk up to you and start a conversation here.
Oh yea, we’ve noticed the southern hospitality here. My husband & I like the slower pace of our little town. So far it’s been nice. I’ve run into a few narrow minded folks but we see that everywhere.
Just canceled around $50 worth of monthly subscriptions! Everand is a cool app, but audiobooks aren't my thing. UA-cam premium, I can just watch commercials. Duolingo? Whoops. Tried a free week of Super Duo and didn't cancel in time 😂 The other one was a donation. I can start back later when I'm more stable. No one asked, but I'm excited to start putting that money into savings!
The prettiest face on YT😍😍
You are way too kind!! Thank you🥰
All of these are really good tips. The only ones that i am not utilizing are the reward apps to get cash back, gift cards, etc, and the no spend month. What i do with this, i carry $20 in cash only each week..leave debit/credit cards at home. That $20 is all I have for the week. But otherwise, yesssssssss girl ❤
I love the self control you have. Excellent!! Thank you for sharing what works well for you. 🤗
Definitely possible to save money even if you're not making a lot! I used to save about half of my ~1300e salary and I'm so glad I did, because later on it meant that I could quit my job and travel.
Oh yea, for sure it’s possible 💯 Living below our means will get it done.
My comment is for people on a really low budget. To lower your electricity bill and be less frustrated with cooking, baking and eating out. When you pick up food that contains rice, divide your meal in two or three portions. The food I pick up is the larger size. Sometimes I get three meals by adding a salad and some vegetables. I cook rice with vegetables and spice it up and freeze some in portions. I also make rice and peas dishes and do the same. I do the same with a lot of stewed beans and soups. I freeze some in containers for a meal. I end up not cooking everyday and just microwaving some meals. You can bake and freeze your muffins, loaves, and cakes. I slice the loaves and cakes, wrap them in plastic wrap before putting them in the freezer bags. I also buy the larger sizes of dish detergents, liquid soap for washing, toilet paper, etc., when they are on sale, so I don't have to buy those things every month. And don't forget to learn to shop when things are on sale.
Great suggestions!! Thank you sooooo much for sharing them❤️
Thank you so much.
So real and so funny lol 😂❤ !! Very helpful !
Aw!! You made my day! I’m so glad you it funny & helpful 🤣 How perfect💗💗💗 Thank you!
