Shogun Finale Ending Explained: Does Toranaga Become Shogun?
“War is inevitable,” says Ishido to the Council of Regents in shoguun Episode 10. And he’s echoing a sentiment that has been obvious since the very beginning of the season, let alone now, at the end. One has to wonder how many lives could have been spared if everyone had just acknowledged this to begin with.
The latest death was Lady Mariko’s in Episode 9, which has left everyone reeling. Blackthorne is overcome with loss; Yabushige, partially deaf and even more eccentric than before, is stricken with guilt. Even Lady Ochiba insists that Mariko receives a proper Christian burial, despite Ishido suggesting that her tainted lineage warrants no services at all.
Naturally, Ishido is using the shinobi attack on Mariko, which he organized along with Yabushige, as an excuse to justify open war against Toranaga. It’s only him, he claims, who would be sneaky and dishonorable enough to have arranged such an assassination. Nobody on the Council believes him, but there’s little they can do. War is inevitable; even the earth itself rumbles in anticipation.

Invincible Season 2 Episode 5 Recap, Mid-Credits Scene, & Ending Explained
What is wrong with people, this was a great movie! Oh wait, is it because it’s WOMEN? Probably… well tough crap! My entire family liked it and I’m here because of its ending we hope there will be another …. Part 2
t's Ogway's fault that Tai Lung was portrayed as a bad character. You chose yourselves, that you trained your whole life with the hope that you would become a dragon warrior, and then some old turtle says that you won't stay because he supposedly saw some darkness in you, and Sfu didn't say anything because he would lose his recognition. Ogwayja, who was a narcissist, if Ogway had chosen Tai Lung as a dragon warrior, the events we know from Ku KFU Panda 1 would not have happened.
Something is strange with your audio man.
you forgot Pamela
the literal fall of the house of usher when the house collapsed and killed both Rods and Mads
Overall the video is pretty good. I only ask that you pronounce important terms and character names correctly.
1. I did not watch this review 2. I could not bring myself to finish the first netflix installment, not to mention the continuation kudos for finishing both. really. well done.
I don’t get it
Cause you're dumb
This is some sad robot voice
If you have to ask that question, it is clear you never read the book.
A lot of people didn't.
I sum up this ending in one word..."Dookie"
The end credits montage was supposed to be a joke, no?
No. 😂
I think the final scene is his own mind trying to frame everything he's done as some grand plan or that he's some mastermind when the reality is he couldn't have either of the siblings so he moved onto the saltburn estate as his next obsession discarding pretty much the whole family
If she is dead from best to worst tv show
The biggest mistake Felix made was accepting Oliver back after finding out he lied about his parents being dead. If someone did that to me, I'd feel so angry and betrayed. They would be cut out of my life for good
Vector El macho Scarlet Bratt Belle bottom And Maxime le mal
very good show in my opinion
What a vapid and derivative story, this ending made me yawn and this 'video' doesn't change my mind. Trying to pretend it has something meaningful to say, similarly like The Menu. Go watch 'Parasite' for or The Talented Mr Ripley to see what nuanced and thought provoking films can look like.
I def see a scenario where they both survived and I’m really pulling for a season 2 so…..lol.
Brilliant Film!
Fallout: Ghostbusters 2016 edition
Seems to follow a similar thread to the Wool trilogy.
It looks like New Vegas, don't it?
Could it be Tenpenny Tower?
😂😂 silence of the lambs
AI much?
WE GOT WILL FERREL IN DESPICABLE ME BUT NOT MEGAMIND 2 WHYHYYYYYY
Yabushige... shige is pronounced "she-gey"
Who’s the spies man
There was no plan between them. Toranaga needed to sell the appearance that he is defeated at all costs. Even if he'd prefer his commander to live he had no choice but to accept the offer to commit seppuku. Hiromatsu did in fact offer to commit seppuku in protest, not knowing if it was part of a plan or not, but knowing it was his duty to do so.
This was done to convince spies that Torenagas surrender was sincere.
I understand his logic but still he could have avoided his son's death and his best pal's death by just sharing it with his team I mean they all stand with him anyway why not just tell them And allow them to play the role ishido still wouldn't know idk man smh
There is/are ishido spy/spies among them. He can’t tell anyone his plan. I believe the only 2 that know are John and Mariko. Everyone else has to be convinced of Toranaga’s surrender.
Big mistake killing off Hiromatsu which didn't happen in the book. Who's stupid idea was it to do away with the most loyal vassal Toranaga ever had?
AI voice-over almost believable but Yabu-shy?
Yeah it's sad they are doing this to his voice
Crimson sky is a plan where regents must die and only one remains
Wild that this entire video is AI generated
Epic voice guy AI???
AI Ahh video
God. I hate that guy...
real
Get your video off weirdo. You guys don't have to post spoilers every damn second. So sickening.
"Thanks for taking the bait and clicking on this video thinking you were gonna get something substantive when in reality its just some ai reading from a script and we are piggy backing off of the huge success of shogun right now... fools! (evil laugh)"
Sounds like an AI version of Epic Voice Guy
Thats exactly who they've trained this one off. and the video description is a verbatim copy paste of what the AI spat out for a script too. Its honestly just fkn lazy and crap. What a disgusting channel.
Damn....best "bad pronunciation" of the word SHOGUN yet!!!
I don't think Oliver wanted Saltburn from the beginning. He wanted Felix, he was obsessed with him. So when he understood that Felix didn't feel the same he killed him and the family out of jealousy. Almost like he wanted to BECOME Felix.
It breaks my heart that we waited decades for a live action Halo TV series and 'this' is what we get. The show is beyond insulting to this franchise.
Shut up. It’s an awesome show.
@@mrmalvado3620 No, it is utter garbage - just like the people who defend it. You will never silence the truth or us real fans from speaking it.
People really hate this show😭, there no way they couldve made a show thats lore of halo game, way too much lore to halo, i love the way this gives halo fans a show to watch about a game they love
Even the female forerunner refered to master chief as reclamer
Simply because she’s had over 100s of years of training and Mark hes only had 1 but he keeps holding back and he underestimates himself meanwhile Allen he’s just figuring himself out until he found out how powerful he really is
He ain't holding back
Wow... The look on Fujiko beautiful face from 3:02 to 3:07... She really is the star of the show... Those eyes...
She has like thousands of years of fighting experience than Mark lmao..
So did Thula but she got bodied
