A soulslike Wonder Woman game makes no sense unless she is stripped of everything her weapons skills and powers at the very beginning of the game and we have to work our way up to the power fantasy style warrior that she is. Wonder Woman is a powerhouse not a peak human like Conan or Red Sonja. Wonder Woman is the equivalent to a female Kratos so the closest Wonder Woman should get to soulslike is God of War 2018 / Ragnarok where she is actively holding herself back for the sake of those around her.

oh please no... If you want something to showcase her abilities, soulslike is far too limiting for a character like Wonder Woman on top of there just being so many of the genre being pushed out. Also you're showing that you want a game about preserving stamina and being precise while showing footage of Vergil who when playing as him, is all about watching your resources and being precise. Hes actively punished for missing just a single blow by the gameplay as he loses focus/motivation for getting hit or missing. I get what you mean and in theory a very grounded and nerfed Wonder Woman could fit in a Souls like. Personally, if i see a character whos strength is at least in the top 4 DC heroes who can rival Superman, I want their game to have some more energy than your standard Souls. Sword and shield be damned these weapons and her warrior status dont instantly make her a Souls candidate otherwise other action game characters like one of the first Nier protags would be one. And with a post apocalypse story, it might fit more with the genre albiet a bit... bleak. Especially after the last DC game where they all just died. Maybe its just my bias but personally, i really hope the game isnt in this genre. Hope this comment doesnt come off as mad or anything im just tryin to explain my take and give my 2 cents :p She CAN fit in a soulslike game in theory i just... hope the game isnt soulslike...

no we don't, but maybe they can prove us wrong. But so far, is sad even to talk about it. Or even sadder is the reasons for it at moment. DEI is destroying everything that even looks like it.

Don't get me wrong I love Dev Patel, but John Wick 1 & 2 is miles ahead of Monkey Man in terms of atmosphere, fight choreography, plot and film score. Its not a fair comparison.

I have gotten over the movie cause I wanted to love and appreciate it but... idk it felt off. And I'm a big fan ever since 2015. I like how they did the Easter eggs and tried to fit big/recognizable stuff into one movie and it was alright but it was more for fan service and it felt like another one of thoes "Hollywood" type of movies, if you catch my drift. But I do like it I just... I don't know.)

I kinda liked the dynamic of the family but as a horror this was very poor. I did not find it scary. The attempts to make the pool scary failed miserably and the dialogue became so dreadful it was literally laughable. A couple cool set ups and shots but overall this one didn’t work for me. Great review 👍

no notes on the content but in the side of the technical aspects of the video there is a low freq hum in your audio that makes it a bit hard to listen to

I just can’t get this movie outta my head since seeing it. I’ve gone back for a 2nd viewing and I’m already itching to see it again. This is one of those rare times where you see a film understand exactly the message it’s going for and then proceed to execute it perfectly. Also, I don’t think I’ve ever felt so much pure adrenaline watching a movie while FEARING for the lives of ALL the main characters and side characters. Seriously. And the characters are so damn competent, too! I walked out of this movie with a smile on my face. I swear, I could gush about it for hours…

Very solid review and I agree with everything you said cuz it felt queazy to me as a FNAF fan. I KNEW this movie wasn't meant for non-fans so I got worried. It just wasn't a 'solid' film but it wasn't terrible, it just needed more polishing (rewriting...)

Brilliant review. I've watched dozens on UA-cam after seeing the movie 3 times. If this movie isn't nominated for Best Movie, Best Actor, Best Director, etc it will be a travesty. Not a Godzilla fan but lived in Japan for 15 years and although some language nuances are lost in translation, this movie is relatable to normal humans on so many levels ... just as you have beautifully articulated. Well done!

The Monsterverse is what Showa Godzilla movies were. Godzilla beat up monster dude, human characters truly one dimensional, in it for guy in rubber suit beating up other guy in rubber suit. It's a beat 'em up fun. I still love those movies. But DAMN did Minus One hit me in the feels.

People usually want less humans in these movies because the humans often suck. That wasn’t at all the case in Godzilla Minus One.
