We, like many of you, have full-time careers and the day to day commitments of life. Nor, do we have an unlimited budget. Much of the information we encounter seems to prioritize specifications and performance over reality and budget. Our goal is to reach a realistic balance.

A simple to make DIY Saw Cutting Guide can be really useful when building an overland vehicle. Thanks for a great vid, now I want the toast maker…so cool
I fell asleep watching this video…dreamed I was watching it…and fell asleep in my dream…
What’s the name of of the dividers you guys use?
What's the name of the ARB Tent annex? Is it still on sale?
Great demonstration on how the side tarps are attached. It explained a lot of my questions. The side wings help in may different ways besides blocking out a low sun. Rain, Adding some warmth while cooking and privacy as you mentioned. Thanks again, Skillet
Can you please do an updated review with all your MODs? Do you think ARB has taken your suggestion on the D ring idea for securing the awning to the side poles? Thanks Skillet
hey are you still around
Can you tell me where you purchased the bottom organizer for this case?
how is it after 9 years?
This is an excellent review. Thank you for doing this. 👍
Nice set up. More than I am willing to carry but you have some great thought processes and an organized layout. I took away a few great tips and ideas. Ty
Great job!
These Pelican cases are great especially with the organizers…….extremely pricey though if you’re on a budget.
You are right, I normally don't watch these videos because I know right away after seeing that Pelican cases, they are extremely costly, a bit greedy in my opinion. I think they are just overpriced because the people who makes them wants to fill their pockets fast with money. The Lid organizer is like around 45 dollars, it's nothing but cloth with pockets on it, 20 dollars would have been reasonable.
Outstanding video! Glad I found your channel. Liked and subscribed!
You so mach butefull
👍👌❤️🇨🇦,
👍👌❤️🇨🇦
Where did you get the organizer deviders
would you cut it all and sell it to me? i live in Brooks so not far from you!! not big wood worker
can you give dimensions? i want to do the same floor as you!! great job
Finally. A tips&tricks video that actually shows useful tips&tricks
They are too expensive for me. Nice though.
I used your video and built your design. Thank you for the videos and tutorials.
nice bro .... honest review thanks i just bought let see how is work can you show how you install i gonna install on same car as you JK 4 door
I really admire how you use your space .. My application called for thinking out side of drawers & hard sided boxes & go with soft cases ... it seems it's all about discovering what works best in certain settings ... Thanks for sharing your approach that works well & is a proven method that you actually use ... adjusting as needed has been my actual experience ... thanks again as I figure out my life's setting that I have to work with ... lol I sure enjoy the present challenges that arise ...
I really enjoy your set up ! due to my storage space is very tiny the hard sided box won't fit my application ... so I used soft storage containers .. & I repackage many food items from it's boxed container into those zip lock bags .. I can see what's in them as well as conserve space .. I am totally interested in seeking ways to get more out of my tiny spaces .. your bread container that keeps the bread from being crushed .. is an awesome item for me to keep a look out for ... I like my grilled cheese sandwiches to be eye appealing lol ... I actually thrive in my ultra light weight, tiny hand built designed 4x4 shelter built on a Suzuki Samurai platform .. it has a clam shell pop up roof that goes from windshield frame to the extended rear end .. everything is extremely well thought out .. thinking way out of the conformity box using the law of cause & effect as a true guidance measure acid test .Critical thinking was a must .. & actually thriving & enjoying life by applying minimal life's practical principles .. Live like no one else to live like no one else ... making adjustments to get the most out of what you have ... out door life in nature .. that is possible for me based upon my own income that relates to my own design that makes it all come together & work for my own situation ...
Where can we get the dividers that fit perfectly on your 1650 pelican case? I found the lid organizer on Amazon but not the dividers ! Please and thank you
This is the most OCD overland video I've ever watched.
It’s CDO…😂
Is it possible to use a no drill roof rack for my rooftop tent? Wrangler sahara 2016 hardtop 4dr jeep. Your thoughts,,, like your setup and sleeping arrangement. Thanks
Funny, I have always had trouble with the collapsing ladders and much prefer the sliding aluminum ones. We had a collapsible ladder on a rental 4x4 in Oman that got sand/fine dried mud in several of the joints and was a huge PITA to get to lock so that it would support the weight of the tent - not to mention our weight when getting in/out of the tent (even after much cleaning and coddling). Aside from that the collapsible ladders are really heavy when compared to the sliding ladders and the take up more room (which doesn't matter so much if the ladder is permanently mounted like yours). We do have a high quality ladder tho - it came with our Autohome Overzone tent. Great tips otherwise. We do most everything the same as you guys!
Just started to see your videos. Love them so far. How often do you overland? And how long? Just started but we are an older couple and wondered how much time before we say no more.
Thanx
Great video. I realized it is 4 yrs old, but what does your jeep weigh once outfitted like in the video.
grilled paper towel. yummy!
What are the measurements when it's opened up ? How many people fit in it?
What brand tent is that?
Where did you bought your roof rack? Its nice, I'm looking for that kind for my jeep.
why does your husband talk like jordan peterson
Just came across this video. Looks like a great place but I'm guessing getting in there with a small (<20') TT would be pushing it? Thanks.
Your kitchen organization is amazing! I totally agree that each thing should have its own place where it lives that's the best way to keep things organized! Well done series and thank you very much for sharing your experience! I am also looking at the 1650 cases as a way to organize things and looking at your setup I am curious to ask what is the main divider that you use in your cases? I would assume that is a separate purchase, looks like the Pelican 1655 padded divider set?
What inserts do you have doe the cases
What divider system is it made by
I hope you see this. How do you find or research you camping spots?
You two are awrsome! Glad I ran into your video, you have great ideas. We are just starting our overland journey
ARB couldnt even be bothered to post me a swag in the uk...
Did that yesterday with our powerwagon and trailer 😮, only to find out all taken (and honestly would have been challenge to fit our rig). Great video
I have been watching these camping/overlanding videos for a while and trying to grasp what to take but this video with the organizational content has to be one of my favorites. Great work and attention to detail...😀
So all a person needs is four $700 cases that take up a ridiculous amount of space and has your things spread out in no logical order that you have to dig out other things so that you can get to them when needed... and why bother with environmentally safe dish soap when you eat with one-use plastic wear, storage bags, garbage bags and plates?
Quit complaining about the velcro straps..I have had mine longer than you..Be happy they have lasted 5 yrs..Maybe wash it once in awhile..Nevef had any problems with mine..Ever..So quit complaining or start your own manufacturing company...ARB the best in my opinion.
